Witnessing Atrocity (VIDEO)

On the eve of a potential vote in the United Nations to formally recognize Palestine we speak with freelance journalist and Palestinian rights activist Eva Bartlett. Bartlett lived in the Gaza Strip for three years between 2008 and 2013. She was also aboard the Dignity, one of five Free Gaza missions to successfully sail to the Strip in 2008.

Bartlett accompanied Palestinians in ambulances during the 2008/2009 Israeli attacks on Gaza, and documented Israel’s violent November 2012 campaign against Palestine from a central Gaza hospital. Bartlett has worked extensively with Gaza’s fishermen and farmers, accompanying them as they come under fire from the Israeli army.

More recently Bartlett has traveled to Syria to document that country’s “civil war” and human rights abuses being meted out against Syrians by US-trained and funded paramilitary terrorist groups.

Rogue Terrorism For A Greater Israel

“Our American friends offer us money, arms, and advice. We take the money, we take the arms, and we decline the advice.”Moshe Dayan

Most peoples that resist the power politics of Zionism condemn aggressive actions of the outlaw Israeli state regularly. Yet most of the western democracies that are under the control of Talmud media and Khazar finance continue to defend the apartheid policies that are designed to purge any prospect of Palestinian, right to return, to the land of their forced removal. No matter what your politics are regarding the Middle East, the indisputable fact exists that the Greater Israel design for expanded territory is a core impediment of this interminable conflict.

From the beginning, Zionists advocated a “Jewish State” not just in Palestine, but also in Jordan, southern Lebanon, and the Golan Heights as well. In 1918 Ben-Gurion described the future “Jewish state’s” frontiers in details as follows:

“to the north, the Litani river [in southern Lebanon], to the northeast, the Wadi ‘Owja, twenty miles south of Damascus; the southern border will be mobile and pushed into Sinai at least up to Wadi al-‘Arish; and to the east, the Syrian Desert, including the furthest edge of Transjordan” (Expulsion Of The Palestinians, p. 87) Click here to view the “Greater Israel” map that was submitted by the Zionists to the peace conference after WWI.

The self-justification by Zionists for enhancing strategic security enlargement of territory never deals with the central issues. The entire concept of a homogeneous “Jewish State” under a secular Zionist regime, mocks the notion of religious faithfulness to the teaching in the Torah. The meaning of a “Greater Israel” has little to do with devotion of Jehovah.

In order to comprehend this distinction read the essay Zionism, Racism and anti-Semitism.

“Zionism is a political movement. To equate motives of politics with a religious belief is specious. Judaism is NOT equivalent to Zionism. The distinction is imperative if a correct understanding of relationships and actions, in the Middle East, are to be appreciated. A Zionist often professes their acceptance of the tenants of the Jewish faith, but a ‘true believer’ in the supremacy and survivability of a political state, can and frequently are non-believers to Judaism and the Torah. This is crucial, because it is not a condition of political allegiance to share faith in Yahweh.”

Map Greater IsrealReview the deplorable history of Israeli territorial designs. The Maps Tell The Story account that displays the chart of expansionist settlements.

“Starting with the United Nations Partition Plan, 1947, the original borders for the state of Israel are quite limited. This index illustrates the significant border changes after the 1949 War of Independence, after the six day war of 1967, then after the 1982 return of Sinai and the invasion of Lebanon, and finally after Palestinian autonomy and Lebanon withdrawal in 2000.

But the most notable map is the one that identifies the Israeli settlements on the West Bank. A careful analysis of the locations and the areas that are an effective no man’s land, demonstrates the consequences of the expanded settlements. It is hard to believe that Israel will ever agree to remove their own population from these areas.”

Most discussions about Israel originate under the premise that the government in Tel Aviv has an immutable right to defend itself. Thus far, the plight of the displaced Palestinians is almost exclusively relegated to condemnation for inflicting savage terrorism. At the same time the enormous military technological offensive strike capabilities of the Israeli Defense Force undertakes carnage with a disproportionate vengeance that unmasks the true vicious hatred of non-Zionists. Conferring moral authority for IDF airstrikes equates to the same erroneous rationale and hypocrisy that NeoCon proponents shower over the U.S. bombing of al-Qaeda enclaves.

The tentative cease-fire in the latest rupture of mutual hostilities just plays into the hands of the incremental Zionist expansionists. The overriding concern in Israel is not that their Iron Dome missile system can destroy incoming Hamas Fajr-5 projectiles. Their goal is to seek cover for their intended preemptive strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

RT quotes from the account; Iran confirms military aid to Hamas, sending long-range missile technology.

“Iranian lawmaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday his country was “proud” to defend the people of Palestine and Hamas according to remarks published on the Islamic Republic’s parliamentary website.

Larijani stressed the assistance had been both “financial and military.” On Tuesday, Larijani lauded the Palestinian missile capability, saying it had given them a “strategic [source] of power.”

Now the world press will decry Iran for their acknowledged support of Hamas. However, the Washington Post article back in 2006, Hamas Sweeps Palestinian Elections, Complicating Peace Efforts in Mideast, grudgingly reports:

“The radical Islamic movement Hamas won a large majority in the new Palestinian parliament, according to official election results announced Thursday, trouncing the governing Fatah party in a contest that could dramatically reshape the Palestinians’ relations with Israel and the rest of the world.

In Wednesday’s voting, Hamas claimed 76 of the 132 parliamentary seats, giving the party at war with Israel the right to form the next cabinet under the Palestinian Authority’s president, Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of Fatah.”

When did you last read that the radical IDF using American aircraft and smart bombs struck a sovereign country’s industrial facilities and slaughtered civilians as collateral damage? Full Spectrum Dominance, in the pursuit of eliminating any resistance to the New World Order is justified in the Zionist press. Simply put, the NWO is composed of many rabid Zionists that give a new meaning to the term extremist. However, in the bigger scheme of things it is No Surprise – Terrorism Is Winning.

“The reason that Terrorism is seen as the ultimate foe of governments is the nature of the warfare. Let no one mistake the stakes. Those who are willing to die to deliver chaos and turmoil are dangerous. But, more than that, they are unstoppable. Such an assessment may be unpopular but consider the facts. Regimes and prosperous societies have much to lose. Alienated and hostile adversaries that place little value on life, are no match for standing armed forces. By denying the temperament of the attacker and responding with overwhelming force, the inevitable futility of the end result; is guaranteed. Even tactics of aggressive proactive search and destroy strategy, fails to address or eradicate the underlying conflict. The battle may be won short term, but the war just continues.”

In spite of using the term terrorism, the reaction to systemic aggression often takes a violent response. This is the ultimate break with faith, principles and teachings of all the three eminent monotheistic religions. Warfare over territory is as old as history. Destabilizing Egypt, Libya and now Syria is part of a larger master tactic to isolate Iran as the only remaining obstacle to the greater State of Israel.

U.S. forces under the discredited pretext of weapons of mass destruction falsehoods dismantled Iraq. Co-opting Gaza so that Iran can be leveled from the air means that the jointly developed Israeli/American Iron Dome batteries can be deployed for incoming Iranian missiles after a sneak attack strike.

The article Hamas, Israel and the United States sums up the dangers of American involvement into a blood feud. Dominance of the region and impoverishment of the oil poor inhabitants drive the displacement of Palestinians into ghettos of expedient smart weapon annihilation.

“A regional dispute over land that was stolen with the blessing of Western Democracies is and always has been the nucleus of the eventual holocaust. What Americans are so unwilling to accept is that our own country has no duty or moral imperative to arbitrate between eternal enemies. It is a local conflict that can only destroy our own land by intervening. Making matters much worse are foreign policies that the United States acts as a neutral broker for peace.”

Just who is the rogue state in the Middle East? Israel is no ally. The political reality of domestic politics is hard pressed to poke the Jewish lobby in the eye. Nonetheless, attacking Iran in a joint operation with the IDF is pure madness. The old axis of evil rhetoric has deplorable consequences, when applied with JDAM-equipped bombs guided by a global positioning satellite system.

Hamas does not have clean hands, but when will the American public come to grips with the real reasons for the destruction of our own nation? The Western Democracies capitulated to the Zionists in the theft of Palestinian land. Khazar imposters are not Semite descendants of Abraham. Their own ruling class dupes sincere tribal Jews. Zionism puts them at risk. The “Greater Israel” expansionism is an impediment to any negotiated peace with justice.

How much more blood needs to be shed to admit the obvious? Christian-Zionists bear a heavy responsibility in fostering the Likudnik mindset. Without a moral treatment of all peoples, not all the military weapons on the planet will ever impose peace. The Arab dynasties hardly champion the Palestinian cause. When desperation becomes genetically acceptable, the entire world loses its humanity. In order to eradicate unremitting bombing, the globe needs to face up to real rogue terrorism.

It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonialization, or Jewish State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands.” –  Ariel Sharon

Infant Mortality Soars In The Gaza Strip After Israeli Blockade

60% of newborns do not live past four weeks.

If infant mortality is one of the main indicators of the health of a population, the health situation in Gaza seems to have plummeted for the first time in half a century.

UNRWA, the United Nations agency responsible for Palestinian refugees, has found that in 2013 twenty-two of every thousand babies died before they reached their first birthday, compared to 20.2 in 2008.

UN figures reflect a higher health impairment than neonatal mortality of children under four weeks, which increased by 60%, from 12% to 20.3% over the same period.

Israel imposed a blockade on Gaza eight years ago alleging security reasons after the Islamist movement Hamas took power. Egypt has also imposed strict controls on the movement of goods and people along its border.

The director of UNRWA’s health program, Akihiro Seita, said in a statement released by the agency that “progress in terms of infant mortality is generally not experience” and that instead, Palestinians in general and children in particular experience more “setbacks”.

In 1960, when the UN sought his first medical reports on the Strip, the rate of babies who died before their first birthday per thousand births stood at 127 cases.

“An increase like the one registered in Gaza is unprecedented,” says Seita, “and can only be found in African countries that have experienced epidemics of AIDS”.

The UN agency reviewed data with independent sources to make sure there wouldn’t be errors and has commissioned a new study this year to confirm the results.

The health official argues that although it is difficult to determine the causes of the increased mortality of infants, the UN has expressed concern about “the long-term impact of the blockade on health centers and the provision of medicines and medical supplies.”

Data published by United Nations do not include deaths registered in 2014. The armed conflict that took place last summer in Gaza killed more than 2,200 Palestinians, of which about a quarter were children. Only 73 Israelis were killed, most of whom were IDF soldiers who entered Gaza in search for alleged terrorists.

A year later, most of the patients treated by humanitarian organizations such as Doctors Without Borders are children and thousands still need psychological treatment after the impact of the war in the Palestinian coastal villages, where 45% of the population -1.8 million in total- are less than 14 years of age. These particular group of people has suffered three armed conflicts over the past six years.

On the other hand, the UN fears that cutting international donations endangers the resumption of the school year later this month in Gaza, where 225,000 students receive education in UNRWA schools. Those very schools were bombarded by Israel during the 2014 conflict.

The UN agency for children, UNICEF, warned last year about an increase in the rate of school failure in Gaza, where many students are still suffering the consequences of war. The latest Israeli attacks destroyed 18,000 homes and left more than 140,000 people homeless.

UN Investigation Accusses Israel And Hamas Of War Crimes

A UN report has accused the Israeli army and Hamas of committing war crimes in Gaza during the war of 2014.

The group of independent researchers led by the American Mary McGowan Davis requires Israel to provide further details on the targets hit during the offensive for further evaluation.

The report also condemns the execution of suspected “collaborators” at the hands of Palestinian groups. “The scale of the devastation and human suffering in Gaza is unprecedented and will impact generations to come,” said McGowan Davis.

The expert group accuses Israel of committing violations both in the context of hostilities in Gaza, as carrying out murder, torture and ill-treatment in the West Bank.

“The commission is concerned that impunity prevails across the board for violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law allegedly committed by Israeli forces,” the report said.

Regarding Palestinian armed groups, the commission denounced the “indiscriminate nature of the projectiles fired at Israel and aimed to attack civilians, which violates international humanitarian law and may constitute war crimes.”

“The commission collected substantial information pointing to serious violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law by both Israel and Hamas,” the study notes. In some cases, “these violations can be considered war crimes,” says the document.

Israeli military operation against Gaza, conducted between July and August 2014, killed 2,251 Palestinians -1,462 of them civilians and 551 children-, while on the Israeli side there were 67 soldiers killed along with six civilians.

Refugees on the own Land

Along with the report on war crimes in Gaza, the UN informed that half the Palestinian people continue to be displaced and without access to a place they can call home. This situation takes place while conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate with refugees taking shelter all over the Middle East.

According to Christofer Gunness, spokesman for the United Nations Refugee Agency, (UNRWA), it is necessary for the international community to find a solution to the more than five million refugees that are trying to leave their own land due to war conditions and points out that thousands of them are being forced to undertake exile due to increased violence in the region.

“The Palestinian refugees have been in a state of dispossession and exile for 67 years pending a political solution,” said Gunness, the most visible face of UNRWA, which calls “political actors to resolve what can only be described as a time bomb. “

“Sixty-five percent of the refugees are under 25, are marginalized, desperate and frustrated by the lack of a just solution and, in the current climate of the Middle East, with so many people standing up against governments and revolting themselves in various ways, the revolts are part of the fuel that could catch fire suddenly with very alarming and dramatic consequences, “he explained.

The increasingly adverse situation in the region has given rise to new phenomena among Palestinian refugees. Some, escaping the war in Syria, have come back from exile and ended up in the Gaza Strip, while others have gone to sea in boats to try to reach European shores.

“For Europeans it is important to realize that with the increasing regional vulnerability, the Palestinians find it difficult to achieve security and dignity in the Middle East, which increasingly means they will cross dangerous areas taken by rebels and risk their lives at sea to get to Europe,” said Gunness.

Europeans “will have to decide whether to provide an on-site solutions in the Middle East, including through a properly funded UNRWA, or if they want to deal with the Palestinians when they reach Europe.”

United Nations Blames Israel For Murdering 44 Palestinians

An internal UN investigation into the attacks on its facilities in Gaza last summer blamed the IDF for damages caused in seven schools managed by the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

Six of those schools served as a refuge for civilians during the Israeli offensive, whose result was the death of 44 innocent Palestinians and 227 other wounded.

The report submitted Monday to the Security Council also states that three schools that were empty were used by Palestinian armed groups to store weapons and presumably leg firing rockets into Israel.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appointed a group of experts in November 2014 to lead an investigation into the attacks. This group was led by former Dutch General Patrick Cammaert.

During the presentation of the findings, UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon complained in a letter to the Security Council about the consequences of the Israeli attacks.

The results will now be studied to assess what has been described as the “extreme gravity” of acts that resulted in the severance of the inviolability of UN facilities.

“The coordinates of the centers of the UN were known by the Israeli Army and were recorded on maps,” says the document.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Emmanuel Nahshon, said yesterday that his government has also investigated the facts contained in the report and that the Israeli government has opened criminal cases where they are considered necessary.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said meanwhile that the Islamic resistance movement will study the report, although he sees no evidence that weapons caches were hiding in UN schools in Gaza.

An external international commission led by the UN intends to render its conclusions next June.

Following the accession of the Palestinian authorities to the treaty regulating the International Criminal Court, the prosecution of this court opened a preliminary investigation in January to examine whether war crimes were committed during the conflict in Gaza last summer, in which 2,200 Palestinians were killed. Most of those killed were civilians.

The Israeli Genocide Coverup

A Palestinian man cries over the body of his son who died when a UN school for refugees was hit by an Israeli tank shell in the Kamal Adwan hospital in Beit Lahiya, Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian man cries over the body of his son who died when a UN school for refugees was hit by an Israeli tank shell in the Kamal Adwan hospital in Beit Lahiya, Gaza Strip.

By not allowing UN representatives to enter its territory to conduct proper research into the allegations of war crimes and mass murder, Israel condemns itself to being labeled as a genocidal regime.

The Government of Israel has denied entry to the country to the investigating committee appointed in August by the Human Rights Council of the UN, which aimed to clarify whether war crimes were committed in Gaza this summer during the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The three specialists, led by Canadian William Schabas, are in Jordan, where they asked for permission to cross into Israel.

Their intention was to enter Gaza from Erez, a place controlled by the Israeli authorities in the northern Gaza Strip or through the south passage, the Rafah border with Egypt, which is currently closed.

While the Israeli government denied entry to the UN representatives, Egypt says that it closed the southern border because of “security” reasons, due to the terrorist attacks in recent months in the Sinai region and ensures that this measure was taken in accordance with Egyptian sovereignty.”

In practice, therefore, it is impossible now for the UN representatives to do their fieldwork to hand out their conclusion in March next year.

The mandate of the UN requires them to analyze not only the actions of the Israeli authorities during their military operations in Gaza, which resulted in the murder of thousands of people, but also the actions of the Palestinian militias in Gaza.

The intention is to verify whether there were war crimes committed against both Gazans and Jews and whether any wrongdoings can be classified as crimes against humanity or genocide to the two sides of the border.

The UN confirmed in August that it would include in its investigation the actions of Fatah and the occupied West Bank.

The commission said, from its headquarters in Geneva, that it will not give an opinion about Israel’s denial of entry.

A spokesman for the group, however, explained that the representation of the UN “is holding interviews in Amman, Jordan, with persons including witnesses who can provide information related to the events under investigation.”

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said in the summer that initial investigations point to a “strong possibility” that these crimes have occurred on both sides. In total, some 2,200 people died and 11,000 were injured in Gaza.

Most of the people murdered and injured were civilians.

Additionally,  at least 50,000 houses were destroyed by the Israeli army, which left over 500,000 people displaced.

On the Israeli side, 72 people were killed, six civilians and 66 military operatives.

Last week, Amnesty International issued a report accusing Israel of “callous indifference” to the lives of civilians in Gaza during the last military operation.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has issued a note explaining that in addition to preventing access to the UN team, it will also refuse to cooperate with them by providing information or evidence as requested.

If the UN committee can not get information about the Israeli massacre in Gaza by other means, its research will be limited to collecting testimonies indirectly.

The Israeli minister, Avigdor Lieberman said in September that his intention was not to provide any documents to provide no legitimacyto the commission.

Israel bases its denial on the fact that “the final report has been written and that the only thing left is to choose someone to sign it.” Israel is convinced that the report will find the country guilty of committing crimes against humanity, as the Human Rights Council is obsessed”, with it.

The appointment of Schabas as group leader deeply angered the government in Tel Aviv, as in the past this professor of Criminal International Law and president of the International Association of Genocide Scholars has made statements against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which supposedly guarantees that he is brought to the International Criminal Court.

Since Schabas’s Commission is not research group, but a commission that gives its conclusions in advance, Israel will not cooperate,” said the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Emmanuel Nashhon, in a statement.

It is not a new position, as Israel also refused to cooperate with the Goldstone Commission which investigated the so-called Operation Cast Lead, the name of the previous military incursion in Gaza back in Christmas 2008.

Shabas, meanwhile, told the media that his comments had been “taken out of context” and that he does not deny his views with respect to the actions of Israel.

Schabas then nuanced, via email, that he would try to be as fair and objective as possibleto investigate possible war crimes allegedly committed by the Israeli army during Operation Protective Edge.

According to the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot, the president of the UN commission also defended former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, considered one of the greatest enemies of Israel, and the United States.

Schabas, in the same conversation with this newspaper in August, described the allegations as “absurd” and “dishonest”.

In addition to the UN Commission, a European delegation composed of 13 MEPs has just returned to Brussels from the Middle East. According to these members of the European Parliament, the European Union should break diplomatic ties with Israel and “implement sanctions against the country” for the war crimes it committed against Gazans.

The delegation describes what Israel has done to the people of Gaza as genocide. The 50-day Israeli war on Gaza left thousands dead and tens of thousands wounded,” reports PressTV. The 13 members of the European Parliament have also accused the West of turning their back on the grave crimes that took place in Gaza.

The MP’s allege that Tel Aviv continues to break international law as it confiscates Palestinian land to build settlements.

The United Nations aid organisation, UNRWA, whose schools and shelters were bombed by Israel during Operation Protective Edge, says that it will cost around 800 million euro to rebuild basic and most needed infrastructure in Palestine. Most of this infrastructure was destroyed by Israel during its two0month invasion and bombardment of Palestinian territories.

Rebuilding Gaza

It’s a Herculean task. With no assurance Israel won’t destroy it again at its discretion. For duplicitous reasons. Or none at all.

Billions of dollars are needed. Experts believe around $8 billion.

Perhaps more once the enormity of what’s needed is fully understood. Longtime Israeli collaborator/illegitimate Palestinian president Abbas seeks $4 billion.

It’s woefully inadequate. No one’s sure how much is needed until more detailed assessments are made.

In early September, the Palestinian Economic Council for Reconstruction and Development estimated $7.8 billion to rebuild.

It said doing so would take “five years if Israel removed its blockade over Gaza entirely.” Other reconstruction experts estimate a decade or longer.

At least 20,000 homes are uninhabitable. Around 60,000 were damaged. Most extensively. Entire communities were leveled.

Schools, hospitals, mosques, commercial areas, factories, power facilities and vital infrastructure were heavily damaged or destroyed.

Labor Minister Mamoun Abu Shahla said “(i)n 15 to 20 years, construction will be done if 100 trucks (with construction materials) enter Kerem Shalom (crossing) daily.”

“This is unacceptable and irrational. We demand that Ban Ki-moon and international organizations play their role in rebuilding Gaza in” the shortest period of time possible.

Practically nothing has been done so far. Gaza remains in ruins. Israel’s blockade continues. Despite promises made to ease it. Humanitarian crisis conditions persist.

Israel bears full responsibility for enormous loss of life. Extreme human suffering. Extensive damage and destruction. It begs the question.

Why aren’t world leaders demanding it pay all costs for carnage it caused? Why were donor nations sought?

Why when they had nothing to do with Israel’s war of aggression? Its third one since December/January 2008-09.

Why aren’t culpable Israeli military and political officials held accountable for high crimes against peace?

Why aren’t they in the dock being prosecuted? At the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Israel as a nation state at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). For its longstanding genocidal crimes. From 1947-48 to the present.

Why is justice denied? Why aren’t measures with teeth in place to prevent more Israeli aggression ahead? It’s certain if not prevented in advance.

What’s past is prologue. Israeli aggression repeats with disturbing regularity. At its discretion. For any reasons or none at all.

Blaming its crimes on Palestinian victims. Getting away with mass murder and destruction. With Western and regional support.

Last Saturday, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry announced Donor Conference information on rebuilding Gaza.

It was ongoing Sunday in Cairo. Co-hosted by Egypt, Palestine and Norway. Israel was notably absent.

It aimed “to raise funds needed to rebuild the war-battered Gaza Strip,” Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said.

Its junta leader General/illegitimate president Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi opened proceedings saying:

Reconstruction depends on “permanent (Israeli/Hamas) calm.” It requires “full (PA) authority” led by longtime Israeli collaborator/illegitimate Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas.

El-Sissi “call(ed) on the Israeli people and the government (to) end conflict…so that prosperity prevails.” None ever exists in Gaza. For sure not now. Nor any time soon.

El-Sissi urged working for “peace and security.” How can there be with Gaza squeezed repressively between Egypt and Israel.

“We should turn this moment into a real starting point to achieve a peace that secures stability and flourishing and renders the dream of coexistence a reality, and this is the vision of the Arab peace initiative,” el-Sissi added.

He deplores what he claims to stand for. His Foreign Ministry stressed connecting political and economic support pledged to consolidating ceasefire conditions. To rebuild Gaza as soon as possible.

It called for implementing Security Council Resolution 1,860 (January 8, 2009). It mandates “full withdrawal of Israeli forces,” as well as “unimpeded humanitarian assistance” for Gazan victims.

Israel violated it straightaway. It spurns UN resolutions at its discretion. It does so unaccountably.

It breaches core international humanitarian and human rights laws with impunity. Business as usual continues. Expect nothing different this time.

Throughout weeks of conflict, Abbas remained largely silent. He did practically nothing to help.

He works collaboratively with Israel. Against his own people. He doesn’t give a damn about their suffering. Claiming otherwise doesn’t wash.

His donor conference comments were pathetic. Disingenuous. Duplicitous. Big Lies, saying:

Gazans “are in our hearts. We will work relentlessly to undo the injustice that befell you and end the suffering that you’ve been experiencing for years.”

“We will heal your wounds that are deeply entrenched in our souls. We will rebuild the Gaza Strip, relying on God first, then on the determination of our people.”

We will also rely on resources and capacities available to us and on the assistance and support of our brothers and friends from around the world, who we trust will not disappoint you in supporting our economy and improving its lot and who will also support you in reclaiming a dignified life in your homeland and in lifting you out of this disastrous situation caused by this unjust war.”

“Your plight has touched and shaken the world’s conscience.” For sure not his.

Or other rogue Fatah officials. In league with Israel for benefits they derive. At the expense of their own people.

When push comes to shove, expect world leaders turning a blind eye. Expect them condoning Israeli lawlessness. Expect nothing done to curb it.

Or hold culpable military and political officials accountable. Or assure justice for long-suffering Palestinians. Delaying it denies it entirely.

Around 50 countries showed up in Cairo. Ban Ki-moon and John Kerry came. So did 30 other foreign ministers, as well as various international monetary and humanitarian organizations.

World Bank and IMF dirty hands are involved. Their funding comes with strings. Intolerable ones.

What no responsible officials from recipient nations should accept. Mandates doing more harm than good.

It remains to be seen what follows. Hold the cheers. Pledges are worthless without follow-through. Or if funds don’t help Gazans directly.

Often they’re for business interests. For economic exploitation and profit. Instead of where they’re badly needed. In amounts enough to make a difference. Delivered as soon as possible.

It remains to be seen what happens this time. If past is prologue, expect Gazan suffering to continue.

Expect them left largely on their own. Expect aid where it’s most needed to be diverted elsewhere. Expect longstanding business as usual.

According to Hamas’ senior political leader Ismael Haniyah, Gaza got no reconstruction aid after Israel’s two previous wars. Despite pledges made to contribute.

He urged “money this time…flood(ing) (in) to start (restoring) what (Israel) destroyed.”

“We are not beggars, but our people presented sacrifices and it is the international community’s responsibility to build up what the occupation destroyed during its inhuman war on Gaza,” he stressed.

Last Sunday,  Maan News headlined “Millions in aid pledges promised for Gaza rebuilding.” A later in the day follow-up account said $5.4 billion.

It bears repeating. Hold the cheers. Donations may not match pledges. Tinderbox conditions remain.

Qatar pledged $1 billion. Kuwait, UAE and Turkey $200 million each. Germany $63 million. France $50 million. Britain $32 million.

Euroland overall $567 million. Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende said $5.4 billion was promised. How much turns into hard cash for what purposes remains to be seen.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier spoke with tongue in cheek saying “(w)e can’t allow people in Gaza to sink into despair.”

Washington pledged a pathetic $212 million. More on this below. Pentagon waste, fraud, abuse and grand theft spills multiples this amount regularly.

Kerry should have been embarrassed to show up. Israel gets virtually unlimited amounts. Washington funds its killing machine.

Both countries partner in crime. It’s longstanding joint policy. One fascist regime supports another.

Horrendous genocidal high crimes persist. Peace is pure fantasy. It’s a convenient illusion. Both countries wage wars of aggression.

Against nations posing them no threats. Shocking abuses repeat. Millions of corpses attest to outrageous brutality without end.

Kerry disgraces the office he holds. On Sunday, he addressed the donor’s conference. He shamelessly blamed Hamas for Israeli crimes.

He lied saying it “fire(s) rockets on Israeli civilians at any time…Gazans “need our help desperately,” he said.

Washington partners in all Israeli wars. Kerry didn’t explain. Or that America funds its killing machine generously.

“I am proud, personally, that the people of the United States have been working to do their part,” Kerry said.

“We provided $118 million in immediate humanitarian assistance at the time of the crisis, at its height, and the $84 million that we also provided to UNRWA for operations.”

“Today, I’m pleased to announce an additional immediate $212 million in assistance to the Palestinian people…”

It bears repeating. Pentagon waste, fraud, abuse and grand theft exceed multiples these amounts regularly.

Not for bettering peoples’ lives. For destroying them mercilessly. Ravaging one country after another. Stealing their resources.

Plundering them for profit. Exploiting their people. Dominating them for unchallenged control.

Doing it unapologetically. Never admitting fault. Mindless of rule of law principles. Trashing democratic values.

Shifting from one targeted country to another. Waging multiple direct and proxy wars.

It bears repeating. Supporting Israel’s worst crimes. Funding its killing machine. Harming Palestinians horrifically. America’s blood money is unwelcome.

Gaza remains in rubble. Shattered families won’t ever regain normality. Washington shares responsibility with Israel.

Shamelessly claiming its wars of aggression are for security. Saying so belies reality. So does fabricating support for peace.

Washington and Israel deplore it. They go all-out to prevent it. Wars serve their agenda. For wealth, power and privilege. For unchallenged dominance.

Washington’s commitment is meaningless. It’s involved for its own benefit. It doesn’t give a damn about Palestinian suffering.

Horrendous humanitarian needs. Ones certain to fall short of alleviating.

Peace when it’s most needed. Don’t expect Kerry to explain. Or other conference participants in league with Israel.

The US And The EU Promise Billions Of Euros To Gaza

This is what the world map looks like when showing who stands with the Palestinian people's right to have a Nation State. Those in green, a large majority, are the countries who support the existence of Palestine as an independent State.

This is what the world map looks like when showing who stands with the Palestinian people’s right to have a Nation State. Those in green, a large majority, are the countries who support the existence of Palestine as an independent State.

After letting Israel bomb and murder thousands of innocent children, women and men, the so-called international community is ready to help Palestinians recover from genocide.

The United States and the European Union have pledged to donate at least 617 million euros to rebuild the Gaza Strip.

This was announced on Sunday by the Secretary of State of the United States, John Kerry, and the head of European diplomacy, Catherine Ahston, in the donor conference being held in Cairo.

The meeting, which was also attended by the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, and delegations from more than 70 countries and international organizations, is the third of its kind to be held in six years. The meeting is used as a tool to raise funds for Gaza, after the last Israeli offensive resulted in the murder of at least 2,500 Palestinians.

Those who were not victims of the Israeli incursion, saw their land, homes and infrastructure destroyed, and it is expected that the money collected by the Europeans and Americans will help finance the reconstruction of basic services such as sewage, water and electricity.

The final amount that will be given to Palestinians seems to have reached $5 billion on contributions from different countries. On Sunday the US announced it will send $212 million, while Qatar promised $1 billion.

The president of the Palestinian National Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, has claimed Gaza will receive a total of $4,000 million from the international community to meet the most urgent needs of Gazans and to repair infrastructure damaged in the war.

The Palestinian President took the opportunity to denounce those who want to turn a political conflict into a religious one” and called for the end of the Israeli occupation, which has been defined as the longest in modern history.”

The first funding commitments came from the hand of John Kerry, who announced the release financial aid over the next three years.

Ashton has said that the sum of the contributions from the EU and its Member States amount to about 450 million euros. Of these, 18 million are from the Spanish government, as reported by the Secretary of State for Cooperation, Jesús Gracia, who chairs the Spanish delegation.

However, beyond the aid figures, all the leaders who took part in the opening ceremony of the conference stressed the need to achieve a political settlement to end the dispute between Palestinians and Israelis.

His recipe is not new and is based on the creation of two contiguous and viable states, a goal that has proved elusive for more than two decades of fruitless negotiations.

There can be no return to the former status quo that has proved unsustainable … Only a credible resumption of peace negotiations can bring about a lasting solution to the current crisis,” said Catherine Ahston.

The US Secretary of State, has also urged the parties to resume peace talks. “I do not think anyone wants to come back here in two years to rebuild Gaza … I declare clearly that the United States remains fully committed to the return of the negotiations,” said Kerry.

Because of the wars and the embargo, Gaza is experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis. An estimated 20,000 homes were completely or partially destroyed in the last war, leaving 100,000 families without a home.

Israel also bombed more than 50 hospitals and health centers. Under terms of the agreement for a permanent ceasefire signed last August 26, that ended nearly two months of fighting, Israel has relaxed the strict embargo imposed on Gaza since 2006.

In the coming weeks, Palestinian and Israeli negotiators should resume talks to resolve outstanding disputes, including the construction of a port and an airport.

As requested by the international community, the Palestinian Authority will be responsible for coordinating reconstruction thanks to the agreement between the Palestinian factions to form a national unity government of technocratic profile. Since 2006, Gaza had been controlled by the Islamist militia Hamas, considered a terrorist group by Israel and the USA.

Last week, Sweden announced its official recognition of Palestine as State, a move that was met with hostility by the regime in Tel Aviv. The Netanyahu government immediately summoned the Swedish ambassador in Tel Aviv to demand an explanation.

Sweden is the first EU member to take such a step. Along with Sweden, other European nations such as Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta, Poland and Romania have also sided with the Palestinian people.

Worldwide, only traditional US allies have refused to support the right of the Palestinians to have their own nation. In total, 134 of 193 UN Member States have recognised the State of Palestine.

Last 29 November 2012, the United Nations approved a motion that intended to change Palestine’s status from “non-member to observer state”. The vote tally was 138 in favor and only 9 against.

Homeless In Gaza

UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees in the near east (UNWRA) Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbuhl called for ending Gaza’s blockade.

Otherwise, reconstruction will take over a decade, he said. Others estimate much longer.

Shelter Cluster is an Inter-Agency Standing Committee involved in helping people affected by natural disasters or conflicts.

Rebuilding Gaza will take 20 years under Israeli-imposed restrictions, it said. Palestinian officials estimate a cost of at least $6 billion to do so.

Krahenbuhl estimates at least 20,000 homes destroyed as well as extensive infrastructure destruction.

He called it “imperative for the international community and for the people of Gaza to reconstruct after the devastation.” Israeli aggression bears full responsibility.

“I visited Gaza three times during the recent conflict and the impact of the fighting on individual human lives, particularly the young, is palpable and profound,” he said.

“Hundreds of thousands of children are deep in trauma. We estimate that of the 3,000 children injured, 1,000 will have disabilities for life.”

UNWRA will do all it can to restore human dignity to a (population) that has suffered enough.”

Krahenbuhl expressed concern for “more than 50,000 people” still living in UNWRA schools because Israel destroyed their homes.

“We need to do all we can to find alternative accommodation for these people,” he said.

A new UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) report covered the late August through September 4 period. It highlights the problem.

Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) created a humanitarian disaster. OCHA estimates around 108,000 Palestinians lost their homes or had them severely damaged.

Only 10% of Gaza’s population gets water once a day. Electricity is spotty at best. Eighteen-hour outages continue in most areas.

The scale of destruction and damage across Gaza is “unprecedented.” About 13% of its housing affected.

Pre-OPE, a 71,000 housing unit deficit existed. Providing temporary accommodations for Palestinians in need is one of the major challenges vital to address.

Another is dealing with Explosive Remnants of War (ERW). Palestinians returning home face serious hazards.

ERW are strewn throughout Gaza. They include unexploded tank shells, missiles, bombs, and rockets, as well as bullets, shrapnel, fuses, gas canisters, and flechettes.

They contaminated homes, gardens, roads, fields, agricultural lands, shelters, schools and other structures.

Before OPE, UNWRA estimated having to provide shelter for up to 50,000 Palestinians for a limited period.

Currently it’s six times this number for an undetermined extended time. It’s “unprecedented in the Agency’s 64-year history in Gaza,” it said.

During the height of OPE’s onslaught, about 500,000 Palestinians were displaced. Currently, UNWRA’s 60 shelters accommodate 52,000 Palestinians.

Actual numbers of displaced persons aren’t known. At least 108,000 remain homeless longterm. According to OCHA:

Factors delaying the return of displaced persons include “the pervasive presence of ERW, lack of belief in a permanent ceasefire, lack of availability of basic services, and the destruction of livelihoods as a result of hostilities.”

During more normal times, Gaza’s public services are inadequate to meet demand. OPE added “extreme strain” to their capabilities, said OCHA.

Water and electricity networks were destroyed or severely damaged. At least 14 electricity, water and waste water technicians employed by local utilities were killed.

At least 10 others were injured. After the open-ended ceasefire agreement, Gaza Electricity Distribution Company (GEDCO) teams began repairing damage.

So far little progress was achieved in hardest hit areas. Scheduled power cuts across Gaza continue for up to 18 hours daily on average.

For Gaza city, it’s 20 hours. The Strip’s Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU) estimates around 75% of Gaza’s water network functions.

Yet only 10% of the population has water availability for no more than eight hours daily.

Around 80% of waste water services, 70% of waste water treatment plants, and 60% of desalination plants now function at less than full capacity.

Damaged or destroyed schools prevented nearly half a million Gazan children from returning to primary and secondary classes this week.

The new academic year was delayed. Once begun, it’ll be severely overstretched.

Schools used as shelters need rehabilitation. Destroyed schools are unavailable. Damaged ones require extensive repairs.

Unexploded ordnance must be cleared. UNWRA is coordinating a three-phase plan with Gaza’s Ministry of Education.

It includes psychosocial activities, enhancing learning skills, and returning children to available school buildings.

OCHA calls its key humanitarian priorities:

• providing displaced Palestinians with “temporary shelter and housing solutions;

• keeping border crossings open as well as removing restrictions on construction and other materials needed to rebuild;

• removing ERWs as quickly as possible; and

• providing fuel for power needs, potable water, improved sanitation, and other essentials of life and well-being.

Many thousands of Gazans need everything imaginable and then some. Since December 2008, Israel waged three wars of aggression against them.

The Goldstone report following Operation Cast Lead “conclude(d) that the Israeli military operation was directed at the people of Gaza as a whole, in furtherance of an overall and continuing policy aimed at punishing the Gaza population, and in a deliberate policy of disproportionate force aimed at the civilian population.”

“The destruction of food supply installations, water sanitation systems, concrete factories and residential houses was the result of a deliberate and systematic policy which has made the daily process of living, and dignified living, more difficult for the civilian population.”

“Repeatedly, the Israel Defense Forces failed to adequately distinguish between combatants and civilians, as the laws of war strictly require.”

“Pursuing justice in this case is essential because no state or armed group should be above the law.”

Failure to do so “will have a deeply corrosive effect on international justice, and reveal an unacceptable hypocrisy.”

“As a service to hundreds of civilians who needlessly died and for the equal application of international justice, the perpetrators of serious violations must be held to account.”

The post-Cast Lead UN Human Rights Council report called it “clear to the Committee that the IDF had not distinguished between civilians and civilian objects and military targets.”

“Both the loss of life and the damage to property were disproportionate to the harm suffered by Israel or any threatened harm. Israel’s actions could not be justified as self-defense.”

“The IDF was responsible for the crime of killing, wounding and terrorizing civilians (as well as) wonton(ly) destr(oying) property and that such destruction could not be justified on grounds of military necessity.”

The HRC called IDF crimes so grave, “it was compelled to consider whether (genocide) had been committed.” Its conclusion was that Israel “committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and, possibly genocide in the course of Operation Cast Lead.”

Cast Lead lasted 22 days. Operation Protective Edge continued for 51. It was Cast Lead on steroids.

It’s just a matter of time before more Israeli aggression is launched. Palestinians are wrongfully blamed for its crimes.

Israel remains unaccountable. Palestinians remain isolated on their own. Western leaders do nothing to help.

Washington supports Israel’s killing machine. Both nations partner in crime. Palestinians are frequent victims. Gazans suffer most of all.

The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights spoke for likeminded groups saying:

It “condemns Israel’s continuous violation of the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination and Israel’s violent, unlawful enforcement of the prolonged occupation of the occupied Palestinian territory.”

“Ending this decades-long conflict and halting Israel’s serious violations of international law cannot be anticipated without first achieving a just settlement that guarantees the individual and collective rights of the Palestinian people.”

The international community failed to protect Gaza’s population, property and infrastructure.

Its support for Israel permits the highest of high crimes against peace. The Jewish state takes full advantage. Palestinians pay the highest price.

The late Edward Said called Palestine an isolated prison. An entire population is being suffocated out of existence, he said.

Israel impoverishes, starves and slaughters noncombatant men, women and children.

Artillery, tanks, F-16s, helicopter gunships, and banned terror weapons target them.

Others are assaulted, arrested, imprisoned, tortured, humiliated, and/or otherwise abused.

For decades, Palestinians endured every imaginable indignity, degradation, and crime against humanity.

A cycle of violence persists. Slow-motion genocide haunts them.

Their only defense is resistance. Liberation requires long-term struggle. It remains a distant dream.

Israel Breaches Gaza Ceasefire Agreement

Israeli agreements aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. Straightaway Gaza ceasefire agreed on terms were violated.

Twelve Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) activists were arrested. Their whereabouts remains unknown.

Days earlier, Israeli soldiers targeted Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) member Khalida Jarrar in Ramallah.

She’s ordered deported to Jericho for six months. She got 24 hours to leave.

Israel wrongfully accused her of “pos(ing) a threat to the security of the region, so she must be put under special monitoring.” More on Jarrar below.

On September 2, Israeli warships used live fire against Palestinian fishermen off Gaza’s coast. They did so in flagrant violation of Operation Protective Edge ceasefire terms.

It permits fishing within a six nautical mile limit. They were well inside it. They escaped injury.

An IDF spokeswoman lied claiming they “deviated from the designated fishing zone.”

Israel breached its pledge to ease Gaza’s blockade. Palestinians report business as usual.

According to OCHA’s Occupied Palestinian Territory deputy head of office Maria Jose Torres:

“(T)here hasn’t been any change in the regime of allowing passage for people or goods.”

“We were expecting that the agreement of the ceasefire would have some kind of timeline for easing and lifting the blockade but so far” there’s nothing.

Hamas spokesman Wael Abu Omar said Gazan authorities expected an immediate easing of restrictions following both sides agreeing to ceasefire terms.

Truck traffic entering Gaza hasn’t increased. “We are waiting for what (was) promised, but until now nothing has changed,” he said.

Fikr Shaltoot heads the UK-based Medical Aid for the Palestinians. She’s disappointed by no change.

“We were hoping to see immediate change on all the crossings. So far I don’t see any kind of improvement on this,” she said. The need for medical care alone in Gaza is acute, she stressed.

“Even before the aggression, there were severe shortages of drugs – 28 percent of essential goods were at zero stock,” she said. “Now the situation is critical.”

Egyptian restrictions remain stringent. Cairo and Tel Aviv conspire against Palestinians. This agreement like earlier ones may collapse.

According to Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Paul Hirschson, ceasefire terms have virtually no enforcement mechanisms.

Expect promises Israel made to be broken.  Expect business as usual to continue.

Big Lies accompany all Israeli crimes. Doing so justifies the unjustifiable.

On the same day ceasefire terms were agreed on, Israel demolished the Hebron Islamic Charitable Society’s (HICS) dairy factory, as well as five East Jerusalem Bedouin homes, four steel structures, and a barn belonging to the affected families.

According to HICS’s chairman Hatim al-Bakri, Israel was responsible for “about 2 million US dollars” in damages.

“Services (HICS) offers to orphans in the Nebron district will be badly affected.” During Ramadan, Israel confiscated HICS belongings.

On September 2, Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying Palestinian workers. They did so at a checkpoint near Qalqiliya.

The driver was critically injured. He lost control of the vehicle. It crashed into the side of the road. A passenger with him was shot.

These type incidents occur with disturbing regularity. They reflect police state lawlessness. They generate fear.

Many Palestinians aren’t sure each day at sunrise if they’ll see it set. They live in a virtual war zone.

On Tuesday, Israeli forces raided Anzah village near Jenin. They ransacked dozens of homes.

They arrested 17 men. They committed no crimes. They kidnapped a Husan village resident near Bethlehem.

They invade Beta village near Nablus. They prevented area residents and trucks from entering or leaving.

They set up a roadblock at Beta’s entrance. They searched cars. They interrogated residents. They closed Beta’s flea market. They did so because stones were thrown at a settler’s car.

State terror is official Israeli policy. These type incidents happen multiple times daily.

Amnesty International calls Israel “trigger happy.” Excess force is standard practice. Dozens of Palestinians are murdered annually.

Thousands are wounded. Thousands more lawlessly arrested and detained. Many get long prison terms. Children are treated like adults.

Persecution, deaths, injuries and imprisonment are part of daily Palestinian life. So is war without mercy whenever Israel chooses for any reason or none at all.

Jarrar is one of many Palestinian victims. She remains in Ramallah.

“It is my right, as an elected parliamentarian, to stay with my people and to serve them from here,” she said.

So I announce that I will not go to Jericho, and I will not implement the military order. I’m staying here serving my people and working from here.”

“Transferring me from my house to another city is illegal and is against the international humanitarian law.”

“There is now (a supportive) international campaign (on her behalf). I hope this will succeed, but I will not leave the Legislative Council.” She remains inside for her safety.

On August 25, 12 Palestinian human rights organizations and three other Palestinian groups addressed UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on behalf of Jarrar.

In part they said:

“We, the undersigned Palestinian coalitions and associations, request your immediate intervention on behalf of Palestinian Legislative Council Member Khalida Jarrar who has recently been issued with an Israeli military order detailing her forcible transfer.”

“At approximately 1.30AM on 20 August 2014 Israeli forces surrounded Jarrar’s home in Ramallah and delivered to her the military order which she refused to sign.”

“The order states that Jarrar is ‘dangerous to the general security of the area’. Since then she has taken refuge at the PLC building in Ramallah where she remains.”

“The current order is clearly a continuation of the Israeli policy of targeting elected representatives of the Palestinian people. There are currently 36 PLC members being held in Israeli prisons, 28 of these are being held in administration, which is a form of detention without charge of trial.”

“For too long there has been an unwillingness by yourself as Secretary-General and the United Nations as a whole to pressure Israel to end its occupation policies, whether these be (waging) war on Gaza, the treatment of political prisoners or the targeting of Palestinian elected representatives.”

“It is this unwillingness that has led Israel to believe that it can continue to act free in the knowledge that it will not be held accountable.”

“It is clear that unless enough pressure is brought on Israel, particularly by the United Nations, Israel will not change its policies.”

“Jarrar was elected to the PLC in 2006…” She’s been “active within Palestinian society for many years.”

She notably advocates on behalf of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners.

She heads the PLC Prisoners Committee. She represents the PLC in the Council of Europe.

Israel’s military order violates Fourth Geneva articles 42 and 49. They prohibit assigned residency of protected persons as well as forced collective or individual transfers.

The undersigned called on Ban to intervene immediately. To “ensure that (Israel):

• Immediately revokes the military order related to Jarrar’s forcible transfer.

• Immediately release all imprisoned PLC members, including all those held under administrative detention, and cease its policy of targeting PLC members.”

On September 2, Haaretz editors  headlined “Netanyahu’s government is not serious about peace,” saying:

His “conduct during most of his time in office makes a mockery of his various slogans and declarations concerning new diplomatic opportunities.”

Straightaway after to agreeing to Gaza ceasefire terms, declaring a “diplomatic vision” and “new opportunities in the Middle East,” business as usual continued.

He prioritizes violence and instability. He “continues to prove right the Palestinians’ claims that Israel has no interest in peace talks.”

His Civil Administration confiscated nearly 1,000 acres of privately owned Palestinian land. He breached core international law doing so.

On the one hand, he promises peace. On the other, he goes out of his way to prevent it.

He “turn(ed) Israel into an internationally boycotted pariah state that sacrifices the possibility of peace on the altar of its imperialist and messianic aspirations…”

He “perpetuates…bloody conflict.” Operation Protective Edge was the latest example. It followed others. It assures more to come.

Rogue terror states operate this way. Israel and America are the world’s worst. They commit virtually every crime imaginable and then some.

They violate core international laws in the process. What can’t go on forever, won’t.

Nations that live by the sword, die by it. Humanity hopes it can’t happen a moment too soon.

A Final Comment

On September 2, Israeli media said Netanyahu told a closed cabinet session he won’t send a delegation to Cairo for further discussions.

Operation Protective Edge ceasefire terms require both sides to do so. Major issues remain unresolved. So does addressing Israeli violations.

According to Palestinian Cairo delegation member Qais Abd al-Karim, Israeli ceasefire term breaches render the agreement null and void.

Things appear heading this way now. Broken promises follow virtually all Israeli agreements.

It systematically breaches what it pledges. Expect nothing different this time.

Is The Key Hamas Kidnapping Confession Guy Working With Both Sides?

Saleh Al-Arouri, located in Turkey, has stated that al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, was responsible for the deaths of three Israeli teens, under Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, who is in exile in Qatar. (photo

Saleh Al-Arouri, located in Turkey, has stated that al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, was responsible for the deaths of three Israeli teens, under Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, who is in exile in Qatar. (photo

We all heard the “breaking” news weeks following the start of Israeli attacks in Gaza. Those who had been defending Israel needed little proof to state their justification for their defense of Israel in their attacks on Gaza. The reality of the guilt that comes with war had been bearing down heavily on those wishing to defend Israel. Seeing the images all over social media of the dead babies and the destruction in Gaza is never easy. To make things worse for those hoping to defend Israel in this situation, it had been reported by multiple sources including the Israeli newspapers and police, that the three men who were kidnapped and murdered supposedly by Hamas, were not murdered by Hamas. The Israeli police confirmed this account in their investigation. This wouldn’t be easy for Israel since the kidnapping of the teens was the primary reason given for the commencement of attacks against the people of Gaza. Furthermore, the Hamas “Human Body Shield” manual was shoddy at best. It was released in unusually low resolution and each letter in the hand printing found on the front of the manual lines up perfectly in a horizontal line without any changes in level (to the smallest pixel) despite the observed folds in the manual itself. Do your own research to confirm. Those more familiar with Photoshop and other image software may understand the improbability of this from a technical point of view and thus the implications.

Then came the delayed “evidence” produced by Israel. A leader of Hamas confessed that yes, Hamas NOW admits it was behind the kidnapping and murder of the three teens. His name? Saleh Al-Arouri, he’s the Hamas leader who decided to “confess” that Hamas indeed was behind the teen murders. The only problem at the time was that his testimony conflicted with what Israeli police had already determined. That Hamas was not involved. They know the men involved and they confirmed their lack of ties to Hamas.

Unfortunately for Al-Arouri and Israel, few have bought into this argument accept those emotionally supporting Israel. Disturbingly, other members of Hamas deny this statement from Al-Arouri and to this day assert that Hamas indeed was not involved in the kidnapping and murder of the teens. The authenticity of Al-Arouri’s statements, which came weeks after the attacks on Gaza, is very questionable. He has a long history with Israel, spending 15 years in prison supposedly for actions related to being a member of Hamas (whatever that may be) and then after being exile from Israel he went to Syria where he had been living until the recent conflicts. Now he apparently lives comfortably in a region in (U.S.-Israel super friendly) Turkey.

So what is wrong with this picture? A former Hamas prisoner at the hands of Israel, now living comfortably in pro-Israel territory while aiding Israel with information that they hope could get them out of war crimes charges. How convenient. So the question then is: Is this key Hamas confession guy working for both sides? I believe there is no reason to think he is not. We have no reason to believe anything Al-Arouri has stated especially with other members of Hamas denying this account. Oh, that is, except one other sudden voice of Hamas echoing the confession despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. Khaled Mashaal, another Hamas front man with strong ties to Israel spoke out confessing to Hamas’ involvement against all other evidence gathered.

Mashaal’s background may make you wonder since he survived an attempted assassination by Israel in Jordan in 1997 and has suspiciously moved around the middle east and now lives in Qatar, another U.S./Israel friendly place to live. But how can Mashaal (like Al-Arouri) come out so late and confess in such odd timing and why does his statement contradict what other members of Hamas are saying? Mashaal officially stated regarding his obtaining of this new knowledge about the murders:

“We learned about these confessions from the Israeli investigation”.

What? Israeli investigation? Anyone see anything odd with a Hamas supposed leader stating that his main source of the facts about Hamas’ actions is coming from their supposed enemies, Israel themselves? Who are they kidding here? Perhaps this goes hand in hand with the wide spread belief and reports that Hamas is a creation of Israel.

So why are these supposedly super dangerous “terrorist” leaders with former close ties to Israel allowed to live the good life and move around freely in the Middle east? Why are they living conveniently in pro-Israel anti Hamas territories? Isn’t that a bit odd? Apparently, unless you are working for both sides. This is simple logic and reason, not a wild conspiracy theory.

Al-Arouri, the key Hamas confessor, fits the profile of a double agent to perfection. He has all the characteristics of someone who would have worked out a deal with Israel to release him from prison in exchange for his services to Israel. Sounds very much like a – ‘you help us and we’ll cover your back, you don’t help us and we’ll kill you or put you back in prison’ situation.

For now, we have no reason to believe either Al-Arouri or Mashaal are genuinely who Israel and the western mainstream media would have you think they are. In it’s atrocities against Gaza, Israel has pulled all the punches. They have lied, they have murdered, cheated and stolen. They have destroyed families, homes, killed babies, mothers and teens. They have fabricated one lie after another in this ordeal, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the main source of their new “Hamas confession” claims is once again looking very shoddy.

If Hamas is the scary and dangerous terrorist organization that Israel claims it is, their leaders would not be making deals with Israel, helping Israel and certainly not comfortably living in Israel-friendly territories while conveniently traveling all over the middle east, especially when they know that Israel knows who they are and that they are considered terrorists by Israel. They would be in Palestine guiding the leadership of Hamas and working on the next strategy while hiding from Israel as much as possible. They would be working against, not for, Israel as all enemies do. Except those that work for both sides that is.

For years Israel has been salivating for war and they have successfully built what many in Gaza call the largest outdoor open prison on the planet. The atrocities continue in Gaza even as we speak. The people of Gaza have held strong, hoping and waiting for something to change. The lies and deceit put out by the Israeli government have all been exposed by everyone it seems, except western CIA controlled mainstream media and Israeli IDF/Mossad controlled media.

Can the situation be any clearer? Let us not be fooled by these late breaking claims and “evidence” pieces that seek to conveniently contradict and discredit the initial investigative work and factual accounts.

We are now seeing massive propaganda coming from all sides. Whether it’s the anti-Russia propaganda being used in Ukraine, the ISIS psyop, or the Gaza war crimes pretext blame game, it’s all the same agenda. I’ve written numerous articles reiterating how important it is to understand that in America (and Israel) propaganda is legal. Remember, politicians and the State Department now have a justification for lying. This explains the rotating White House Deputy Spokespersons taking turns doing conferences, the blatant avoidance of hard questions, the aggressive blame game without having to produce evidence, and the quick resorting to war rhetoric based on these unproven claims.

As we drown in propaganda, now is the most important time for everyone to awaken to the plans of the globalist new world order. Take out a pen and paper or write it down on blank sheet if you need to. Make a list of who is on what side. Try to convince yourself of the bigger picture if you are not sure yet. Refuse to believe mainstream media news blindly. Question everything you hear and base your opinions and views on ethics, morality, reason, human rights and common sense. Then take note of those who base their opinions and views on things like flags, symbols, politics, rhetoric, mainstream media propaganda, biases, and ideologies of hate. Notice who condones war, torture, bombings, and aggressions in the name of their country or “intelligence reports” which all seem useless when no one wants to produce evidence for their claims. See their ideologies and then purpose to be different from them. Side with humanity and try to see where the line is drawn between the two groups.

In the end, this is about doing what is right. This is about consciousness, humanity, loving one another and helping one another. Make no mistake, the battle of information and the new world order we are in now is a battle against evil. Stay strong, do what is right and let your consciousness and intuition guide you. To win this war of information we must continue exposing the deceptive systems of information that look to pave the road for destruction and murder.

Let us continue to make the task as difficult as possible for those who wish to continue killing and destroying. By persevering in this information war, I believe we will eventually give birth to a new norm for confirming information. The measure of truth and evidence will some day (hopefully) be automated. Will computers play a role in this? Who knows. When we finally get there, “evidence” claims like the unproven and highly skeptical Al-Arouri claims will (in the future) be quickly scanned for authenticity, saving humanity from having to deal with the same lies over and over. Yes, we need to imagine that a day is coming when humanity and possibly technology will come together to diagnose and treat the cancer of political propaganda, and future (humanity-threatening) propaganda will actually be exposed to the world for what it is. I believe humanity as a whole has the potential to pull this off. Only time will tell.

Gaza Ceasefire: Hold The Cheers

Gaza Ceasefire

On Monday, both sides agreed to open-ended ceasefire terms. Peace talks will resume in Cairo within a month.

Terms agreed on include opening border crossings, “enabl(ing) the rapid entry of humanitarian aid,” as well as construction supplies for rebuilding.

Monitoring will ensure reconstruction is solely for civilian purposes.

Effective immediately, coastal fishing waters will expand from three to six nautical miles. They’ll gradually increase to 12 miles by year end.

Israel agreed to halt targeted assassinations. Days earlier, Netanyahu called Hamas leaders legitimate targets.

Israeli hardliners want Hamas and other resistance groups entirely crushed. They reject peace out of hand.

Terms largely replicate how both sides ended Israel’s November 2012 Pillar of Cloud aggression.

Hamas stuck to the letter of the deal. Israel violated it straightaway. It blamed Hamas for its crimes. Expect nothing different this time.

Israel’s agenda excludes good faith. Decades of conflict, repression and occupation harshness attest to its dark side.

Expect no change enough to matter this time. Promises made are broken. It’s longstanding Israeli policy. Major issues remain unresolved.

They include Hamas wanting Gaza’s siege entirely lifted, permitting an airport and seaport to facilitate imports and exports, and releasing Palestinian political prisoners.

Israel wants Gaza demilitarized. It wants resistance groups defenseless against certain future IDF onslaughts.

It wants overall siege harshness maintained. It largely prohibits Gazan product sales to its two primary markets – the West Bank and Israel. They amount to 2% of pre-2007 levels.

It permits minimal exports overall. It restricts imports. Israeli policy perpetuates dependency on outside aid.

It prevents economic development. It leaves almost half the working-age population unemployed. Youth unemployment tops 60%.

Free movement of people is more myth than reality. Restrictions are unrelated to security.

Exit permits are hard to get. Adults with them can bring children under age six. Older ones are excluded.

Israel’s blockade has nothing to do with security. In June 2010, McClatchy newspapers headlined “Israeli document: Gaza blockade isn’t about security,” saying:

“McClatchy obtained an Israeli government document that describes the blockade not as a security measure but as ‘economic warfare’ against the Islamist group Hamas, which rules the Palestinian territory.”

In response to a Gisha Legal Center for Freedom of Movement lawsuit, documents obtained said Israel called blockading Gaza “economic warfare.” According to a government statement:

“A country has the right to decide that it chooses not to engage in economic relations or to give economic assistance to the other party to the conflict, or that it wishes to operate using ‘economic warfare.’ “

Nations may indeed decide whether or not to have relations with other states. It may not interfere in their internal affairs. Doing so violates core international law.

Blockading Gaza is illegal. Doing so is an act of war. It’s a crime against humanity. Israel remains unaccountable.

Monday’s ceasefire is a temporary respite. Hold the cheers. Expect no substantive change in Israeli policy.

It prioritizes violence and instability. It excludes peace and good will.

It’s just a matter of time before more conflict. Pretexts are easy to invent. Blaming victims is longstanding Israeli policy.

Washington supports its worst crimes. It doesn’t give a damn about Palestinian rights. It never did. It doesn’t now.

On August 26, John Kerry lied saying Washington is “fully committed…to work with our international partners on a major reconstruction initiative…to ensure (it’s) for the benefit of the civilian population in Gaza…”

Throughout 50 days of conflict, Washington supported Israel’s killing machine. According to Gaza’s Health and Interior ministries, one of its many high crimes included murdering 89 entire families.

Israel bears full responsibility for well-planned naked aggression.

Launching it had nothing to do with Hamas rockets. It had everything to do with maintaining business as usual.

On the day both sides halted hostilities, Israeli forces terrorized West Bank and East Jerusalem residents.

Twelve Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) activists were arrested. Their whereabouts remains unknown.

Days earlier, Israeli soldiers targeted Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) member Khalida Jarrar in Ramallah.

They ordered her deported to Jericho for six months. They gave her 24 hours to leave.

Nonexistent secret information claims she “poses a threat to the security of the region, so she must be put under special monitoring.”

Jarrar is a senior Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) member. She’s an Addameer Prisoner Support group board member.

She’s banned from traveling abroad. Freedom fighting comes with a price.

During Monday ceasefire discussions, Israel kidnapped two Palestinians in Hebron, three in Bethlehem, six in Nablus, nine in Jenin, and one in Jerusalem.

Homes were invaded, searched and ransacked. Property was damaged or stolen.

Amjad Abu ‘Asab heads the Jerusalemite Family Committee of Palestinian political prisoners. He said Israeli soldiers went on a rampage.

Former political prisoner En’am Qalanbo was arrested for participating in a solidarity with Gaza march.

‘Asab expects many arrests following Monday’s ceasefire deal. He believes Israel wants Jerusalem and other West Bank Palestinians punished for supporting Gazans and resisting occupation harshness.

According to the Silwan-based Wadi Hilweh Information Center,  Israeli police attacked Palestinians marching for liberation with tear gas, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets.

On Tuesday, other marches and demonstrations occurred in Shu’fat refugee camp, al-Eesawiyyam, Wad al-Jous, al-Jabal, Silwan, al-Mokabber Area, Hizman and East Jerusalem.

Israeli soldiers and police responded violently. Scores were injured. Arrests were made. Israel prohibits public demonstrations. It calls legitimate resistance terrorism.

On August 27, Maan News said “Palestinian communities in Jerusalem are experiencing the largest upsurge in detentions since the Second Intifada, with a marked increase in Israeli police brutality and the collective punishment of entire neighborhoods, local organizations say.”

Since Israel murdered teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir, over 770 East Jerusalemites were arrested.

After three Israeli youths were abducted on June 12, up to 1,000 West Bank Palestinians were detained.

Collective punishment is official Israeli policy. Hamas leaders were unjustifiably blamed for the June kidnapping/murder of three Israeli youths.

Operation Protective Edge followed preemptively.  It bears repeating. It had nothing to do with Hamas rockets. Firing them responded to Israeli aggression.

Jeff Halper heads the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD). He calls motivation for Operation Protective Edge twofold.

It was an effort to “get Israel off the hook for massive” human rights and international law violations.

It sought to “help other governments overcome similar (‘asymmetrical warfare,’ counterinsurgency’ and ‘counter-terrorism’) constraints…against peoples resisting domination.”

Israel calls it “lawfare.” It followed “notable legal setbacks and challenges Israel incurred” since 2001.

For his involvement in the Sabra and Shatila massacres, Ariel Sharon was indicted. It didn’t matter. He wasn’t tried.

In 2004, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled Israel’s Separation Wall illegal. Enforcement didn’t follow. Construction continues.

Israel considers civilians legitimate targets. Its policy violates core international humanitarian law.

Israel circumvents it by “creat(ing) new categories of combatants.” They call them “non-legitimate actors.”

They include anyone Israel calls “terrorists,” “insurgents,” or “non-state actors.” An entire population is held hostage.

Israel claims it warrants no protection and other fundamental rights for resisting repression.

Obama and other Western leaders support Israel’s right to self-defense. Victimized Palestinians are denied the same right.

Israel’s lawfare strategy considers them villains. It’s a “new doctrine of military ethics.” It’s based on a “Just War Doctrine of Fighting Terrorism.”

It bears repeating. Terrorists include adversaries and others legitimately resisting Israeli repression.

Its lawfare strategy uses “new military ethics” to justify lawlessness.

It’s based on the notion that wrongdoing repeated often enough unaccountably will get nations worldwide to accept it or do nothing to stop it.

It lets Israel get away with high crimes against peace. It assures business as usual.

It’s just a matter of time before Israeli rampaging repeats. Expect Palestinians to be blamed for its crimes like always.

Expect Western leaders to support them. Expect no change in long denied justice. Palestinians remain isolated on their own.

Israel Murders Journalists

Israel Murders Journalists

Israel threatens press freedom. Repressive Knesset legislation targets speech, assembly, association, and the right to dissent. So does Kafkaesque justice.

Military censorship bans, buries or sanitizes information about its crimes of war and against humanity it wants suppressed.

It willfully suppresses what everyone needs to know. It does so on the spurious pretext of national security.

It gags foreign correspondents. It forces them to abide by a Censorship Agreement. Its main provisions are:

• preventing publication or broadcast of what’s called security related information;

• permitting news and analysis of political issues except when they include what Israel calls classified information; and

• informing the media which issues demand approval; they’re subject to change; they include two main issues – state security and Jewish immigration from nations hostile to Israel.

Interpretations are crucial. Israel’s hardline government wants things its way.

Free expression is eroding. Protests are prohibited for political reasons. Patriotism is stressed over truth.

Nonviolent resistance is suppressed. Academic freedom is endangered. Historian Ilan Pappe moved to London.

He’s notably anti-Zionist. Israel made him feel like public enemy number one. He received death threats. He left for his own safety.

Fundamental freedoms greatly eroded under Netanyahu’s government. Hardliners want Jewish and Arab citizens to swear loyalty to a “Jewish, Zionist, and democratic state,” as well as its emblems and values.

Historical revisionism is rife. History books are rewritten. Nakba teaching and commemoration are banned. The term is verboten.

Netanyahu once called it anti-Israeli propaganda. It’s Palestine’s defining issue.

Israeli thought control targets dissent and uncomfortable truths. Journalists are especially vulnerable.

According to the Palestinian Center for Development & Media Freedoms (MADA):

July was “unprecedented” in the commission of Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists and media freedoms.

MADA general director, Mousa Rimawi, said it’ll be remembered “as the most violent and bloody month in the history of the Palestinian press.”

Nine journalists were killed. So was media activist Najaia Hai. By early August, Israeli forces killed six more.

At least a dozen others were injured. The homes of 16 press members were destroyed. Eight media outlets were shelled.

The IDF disrupted broadcasts of various TV and radio stations. It targets truth-telling web sites.

In July, MADA noted 76 media freedom violations in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Rogue states operate this way. They want control over what’s reported. They want their message alone getting out.

In times of war, they want information about their crimes of war and against humanity entirely suppressed.

They call aggressive wars defensive ones or defending the homeland against existential threats.

They want media scoundrels regurgitating what activist Larry Pinkney calls “vomit.” It substitutes for truth. It’s systematically buried.

They target non-compliers with death. Sixteen corpses during Operation Protective Edge through early August attest to Israel’s barbarity.

MADA believes journalists wouldn’t be targeted if it was held “accountable for its previous crimes against (the press), which are considered war crimes according to the Geneva Conventions which protect all civilians in (time) of war.”

“(S)o far nobody has been held accountable” for murdering journalists during Cast Lead (2008-09), Pillar of Cloud (2012) and Protective Edge.

“The circumstances of the Israeli crimes and attacks against journalists and media outlets during the Gaza assault indicate that some were deliberately committed to silence them.”

“Israel did not hide the fact that it deliberately shelled the media outlets it accuses of being Hamas propaganda mouthpieces, such as Al-Aqsa TV and satellite channel.”

Western support for Israeli genocide permits mass slaughter and destruction with impunity.

Israel invents pretexts to commit unspeakable crimes. It operates extrajudicially. It justifies the unjustifiable.

Crackdown isn’t limited to Gaza. MADA reported a 71% percent increase in West Bank/East Jerusalem media freedom violations.

They included “arrests, physical abuses, shooting of live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas grenades, prevention from coverage, expulsion and detention, and confiscation and damage of equipment.”

At least five West Bank journalists were arrested. The home of one was raided, searched and ransacked. A summons for interrogation followed.

At least 17 journalists were injured in the West Bank. Most were by Israeli rubber-coated steel bullets and other instruments of state terror.

It bears repeating what other articles stressed. Israel is a lawless, racist, apartheid rogue terror state.

Operation Protective Edge is Exhibit A. Genocidal war continues. It’s been ongoing for seven weeks.

The Palestinian death toll exceeds 2,100. More than 10,550 were injured. Around 80% of Palestinian casualties are civilians.

Israel considers them legitimate targets. International law calls killing them in cold-blooded murder.

Collective punishment is official Israeli policy. It commits virtually every crime imaginable and then some.

Rogue terror states operate this way. Israel and America are the world’s worst. They’re democracies in name only.

They’re partners in crime. They threaten world peace and security. State sponsored terrorism is official policy. So is war on humanity.

Netanyahu and other Israeli hardliners consider Palestinians “foreigners.” They call them “infiltrators.”

They want them denied all rights. They abhor peace, stability, equity and justice. They treat children like adults.

Age and gender make no difference. Torture is official policy. On average, Israel arrests and detains two children each day.

It’s the only country trying them in military courts. They do so on spurious charges.

Media scoundrels turn a blind eye to what demands headlines. Managed news misinformation substitutes. Big Lies repeat ad nauseam.

Israeli aggressive wars are called defensive ones. Western leaders support Israeli genocide. Palestinian rights don’t matter.

Genocidal war continues. Early Saturday, Israel murdered five Palestinian family members.

The victims include two women and two children. Their home was lawlessly targeted.

An airstrike leveled it. At the same time, Israeli gunboat fire struck non-military related agricultural areas.

Multiple daily war crimes terrorize defenseless Gazans. According to Maan News, “(b)omb disposal experts” said Israeli “dropped the equivalent of six nuclear bombs” on an area the size of Las Vegas.

A Gazan Interior Ministry explosives engineering police statement said Israel used 20,000 tons of explosives so far.

“Flechette shells, fuel-air bombs (which explode twice, including after impact), dime shells, and flechette shells saturated with uranium were fired at Gaza,” the statement added.

Weapons used “affect the environment, soil, and water and will affect the next generations by spreading diseases especially cancer.”

Khuzaa, eastern Rafah, Shujaiyya, eastern al-Mughazi, al-Bureij and Juhr al-Dik took “the lion’s share of Israeli shells and missiles.”

Drones, helicopter gunships, F15s, F16s, so-called vertical warplanes, artillery, mortars and other weapons targeted civilians. Entire families were wiped out.

More than 60,000 artillery shells alone were used so far. Enormous damage was done. Israel’s dirty war continues.

Palestinian casualties mount. Accountability is nowhere in sight. Conditions are dire. Human suffering extreme.

Palestinian activists in Israel are targeted. They’re vilified, beaten and subjected to other forms of abuse for opposing Israeli aggression.

Some are arrested. Others lost jobs for posting critical Facebook and other social media comments.

An Adalah Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel press release explained one incident reflecting others, saying:

“A crowd of right-wing Israeli Jewish counter-demonstrators attacked the al-Jabha (political party Hadash) protestors with stones and empty bottles, while police fired tear gas and water cannons to quell the protests; four people were subsequently taken to the hospital.”

Right-wing protesters chanting “Death to Arabs!” and “Go to Gaza!” weren’t arrested.

Nadim Nashif heads the Palestinian advocacy group Baladna. Israeli “fascists are much more organized than in previous years,” he said.

“They always know when the Palestinian demonstrations take place and show up.”

“This violence comes from the Israeli politicians…”  They urge “violence all the time.”

“The right-wing fascists translate it into action in the streets, while the police have been given a much freer hand to arrest and beat Palestinian protesters.”

Israeli courts deny justice. Silencing dissent matters more. So does supporting Israel’s worst crimes.

Traumatized children don’t understand. Hundreds killed and maimed perhaps best reflect Israeli barbarity.

A UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported a Palestinian child murdered every hour over one three-day period.

Israel considers them legitimate targets. They’re killed at play, in school or at home.

Death or serious injuries haunt all Palestinians. Israel’s killing machine shows no mercy.

Netanyahu promised greater mass slaughter and destruction “until the goals of Operation Protective Edge (are) reached.”

Perhaps he has in mind extinguishing all Gazan life. Israel has the firepower to do it and then some.

Washington offers full backing and encouragement. One rogue state supports the other. They’re partners in crime.

How To End The War Crimes In Gaza

israel war crimes

Some people may read this and say, no way, this is not a solution but I challenge your belief and I offer that this is indeed an effective and powerful way to move forward as a humanity with regard to the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.

Is there actually a way to end the war crimes in Gaza? There is, but the answer lies in our humanity not in politics, politicians, or a rigid ideology. Ideologies that result in human deaths are ideologies of hatred no matter how anyone spins it. We, as a humanity, must find a way of ending ideologies of hatred that serve political purposes. With acknowledgement of this first step we can then move forward to real solutions.

The first solution is to find a way to tone down, even mute mainstream media. Mainstream media is at the root of most political propaganda (which is now LEGAL) and deception. Politicians and warmongers would have no voice if it were not for mainstream media. Knowing this, we have to (as a humanity) reconsider everything we hear on mainstream media news. This really is a critical and core part of the solution in my opinion. As soon as people learn to turn off mainstream media news, then we can really begin to implement real solutions. People must realize that mainstream media is controlled by the CIA and the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) for political purposes. Try to understand the importance that mainstream media is to the globalists who control the world or, as some call it, the .1% (or the Illuminati). Look up Operation Mockingbird and listen to what former CIA operatives have admitted about how they control the media.

Until we can change or stop the control of the mainstream media (which may never happen) each person has to do whatever they can to share information with people they know that may contradict the messages being put out by the controlled mainstream media. Keep in mind that six corporations (all pro Zionist) actually own almost all of the mainstream media in the United States, so you will never get a balanced report on what is happening. For this, you will have to tune to alternative media and human rights-related platforms.

Most importantly think on your own. If you see something happening, ask yourself: would I tolerate this action in my own life? If you see atrocities being committed, condemn the atrocity regardless of who is doing it. Do what you can in order to find out who is funding the atrocity. (Like the CIA funding $$ ISIS in Iraq)

The people of Gaza have a right to exist and they have a right to not be murdered and have their homes destroyed. All human atrocities are the same. We must acknowledge human rights globally and not allow one country and corrupt politicians to control the narrative and use propaganda to condone war crimes. This is not a very complex solution. You simply need to turn to your own humanity and compassion and stop condoning war crimes.

Are you religious? Muslim? Christian? Hindu? What does your messiah, guru or savior have to say about violence? Is it normal to kill babies for political reasons? To “defend” your nation’s flag? Don’t all religions condemn murder? If your religion doesn’t (and according the interpretation of some they don’t) condemn murder, then it’s time to dump your religion.

Nature teaches that you reap what you sow, and those who reap violence will sow the seeds of hatred and suffering which will come back to get them. Love and peace is the big lesson here. We must learn to love one another and live in peace. It is time for humanity to wake up to the new world order plans. This is a powerful global cabal of super rich and powerful elite who have been planning global control of the world for a very long time. They want full domination of the world including all resources and land.

This is the bigger picture of the atrocities we see today, and it is understandable if some people observing events can’t quite understand this. You may even think that this is unrealistic or ridiculous talk due to the way government has turned the term “conspiracy theory” into a thought blocker. Try to overcome automated feelings that make you want to ignore the information up front. Instead, begin to think critically. Begin to think on your own and resist knee-jerk responses to critical information.

Remember that we are conscious (not political) human beings first, and we have a responsibility to think critically and analyze the world around us. Will you be a follower or a leader? Ultimately, it is up to you to decide. This conflict in Gaza, or should I say, these war crimes we bear witness to in Gaza, are a great opportunity to trigger mass consciousness about the global agenda of the global elite, as well as the government of Israel. It is also a great opportunity to show your friends and family exactly how biased the mainstream media is. Exposing these issues are a big part of the solution.

Let’s use this situation to come together as a humanity, for it is by coming together that we will be able to expose the global plans of the global elite and trigger the mass consciousness we need to make this world a better place.

Government’s Recent Engineered Pro-Israel Sentiment: Sign Of A Dangerous End Game?

The question is cause for deep concern. Humanity is now experiencing rapid changes at the hand of political agendas that are being passed very quickly. Most people throughout the world cannot even afford to keep up with the speed at which the lies and propaganda are being pushed with the usual full western media “debate” theater. Before the average person could consider or digest the war crimes in Gaza that began over a month ago, the Israeli Defense Force propaganda department, the CIA, the Council of Foreign Relations and the western controlled mainstream media including magazines, TV networks and news agencies all synchronized together to launch a massive ‘Pro-Israel’ campaign that humanity is still buzzing from. Consider that before this massive campaign went into effect several weeks ago (from the time this article was written), all the talk and images all over the world focused on the breath-taking atrocities and genocide in Gaza. Who can look at images of dead civilians and not feel the pain? Who can look at images of dead and injured babies and not cry? The answer is, apparently those whose agenda was being interfered with. Thus, those whose agenda was disrupted with the images of atrocities in Gaza quickly went into action in an attempt to alter public perception of these war crimes.

With all the failed evidence put forth by the IDF to convince the world that Hamas is responsible for their war crimes, we have to consider what the end result of these events really is. With this new wave of wide-reaching propaganda that we’ve observed artificially engineered by the Pro-Israeli forces mentioned above, in dynamic Orwellian style, I believe humanity is now closer to a dangerous end game scenario intended to usher in their new world order. The prime danger in this recent wave of propaganda is a government fed, people-guided and people-fostered new mentality that says that terrorism and war crimes is absolutely acceptable if you can find (claim or fabricate) one tiny thing that you can blame on those fired upon, then your actions against them, however gross and inhumane, is justified. This technicality is enough to spin articles and news pieces from, and push the war crimes agenda forward. It also leaves all possibilities wide open to fabricate the evidence, if necessary, to achieve the desired results. This new mentality gives a clean sheet of paper for anyone (of the globalists) willing to commit war crimes for a broader agenda to simply do it and get away with it. This mentality and consciousness of hatred is a byproduct of decades of government interference with human thought and expression.

We had been warned that propaganda was real, that it was a potentially dangerous tool, that it could be used to promote products including the ‘product’ of murdering innocent people. We are now seeing the full manifestation of propaganda not seen since the time of post 9/11 or further back to WW2 periods. The government’s pro-war propaganda tool is real and it must be acknowledged if humanity is to survive into the future. In the case of the Israeli genocide in Gaza the IDF and the forces working for world domination in the west have all been caught lying and presenting unsubstantiated evidence as an excuse for Israeli war crimes. The idea is that if you rile the public emotionally with controlled media “debates”, then people turn off their morality, logic and reason in favor of emotion and passion. This is exactly what Edward Bernays, the founding father of modern day propaganda, told us about how propaganda works. Why don’t we believe Bernays? Why the wide disconnect between what we know about how humanity works and what we choose to believe?

So many people were willing to attack George W. Bush and his (still not in jail) war criminal VP Dick Cheney for their obvious war crimes and lies in Iraq and Afghanistan, but fewer are willing to see that the illegal Kenyan born president Barack Obama is in many ways worse and at least as dangerous due to his administration’s ability to push the same crimes with smooth talk and reverse psychology.

Now is the time to put away your favorite flag and simply care about humanity. Now is the time to put away your favorite symbols and logos and say NO to government engineered propaganda which now threatens our entire existence. I call to all of humanity to hear this message out. Western intelligence and Israeli propaganda is now the greatest threat to humanity. If we cannot overcome this propaganda, then the wishes of the globalist will all come true. Depopulation has already begun and will accelerate at an all-time rate. Wars and war crimes will continue everywhere. The Palestinian people will be decimated the same way that American Indians were in America. The conquerors will then move to another country and another people until there is no one but them. The conquerors will laugh off the actual historic account of what happened as they are doing in real-time now. They are twisting the reality of their murders and genocide and are shifting the story 180 degrees to blame the victim themselves, as they murder them systematically. Their only hope is that the average person will believe the engineered lies and support the aggressors and thus allow the genocide agenda to continue unpunished.

This intense new level of propaganda being generated by the tiny group that owns almost all of the western media, I believes is a new form of psychological terrorism which starts off as clever and predictable government propaganda and ends in the death of many. It’s an end-game level of propaganda designed to kill and destroy. It should not to be confused with other types of propaganda. Consider that this new brand of psychological AND physical terrorism seeks to control what you believe so that when the terrorism occurs, you will say nothing. This brand of terrorism is as much psychological as it is physical. This brand of terrorism kills you BEFORE the aggressors arrive to kill you. It strips you of who you are BEFORE you are attacked so that when you are attacked, no one will listen and no one will care. If you listen carefully to the way some defenders of Israel talk about their enemies they seem at times to already be suggesting that maybe you will be next for opposing Israel. What we are beginning to sense is analogous to the arrogance of a criminal who knows he will get away with murder.

This is all psychological warfare. Government had been working on this for a very long time and this year (2014) we are seeing the full manifestation of this new brand of psychological terrorism. It’s propaganda on steroids, a dark end game that we must face now or die. They have infiltrated not just the media, but Christian churches nationwide as well as schools, businesses, charities and government offices. Jews all around the world are having to reconcile the evil that is Zionism and how all of this ties back to the new world order Illuminati plans.

Humanity’s response to this new psychological warfare and terrorism is what I consider the final awakening which is dawning upon humanity. With this awakening the choices are getting narrower and clearer; you either chose humanity and abandon all forms of images, logos, and flags, or you join them and look away at war crimes and genocide. Whatever decision you make, remember that you will have to face the consequences of that decision to live with and agree with those that condone violence and war crimes. Know also that you will eventually reap what you sow.

This massive new engineered consciousness which now clears the way for global genocide I believe is part of the final plans of the globalist. If it succeeds there will be no meaningful consciousness to follow for a very long time. Those that remain will be slaves to the new system, forever muted from speaking out against any political conflicts for fear of being branded as someone in “favor” of the enemy who is being attacked.

This new government engineered consciousness is setting the stage for permanent silencing of humanity. It aims to not only silence all forms of human voices of dissent for illegal wars, but seeks to criminalize anyone who disagrees with government engineered talking points and war agendas. This latest war propaganda being spearheaded by Israeli Defense Forces propaganda department seeks to permanently terminate human consciousness and declare a new human consciousness on earth.

Let us not accept this global psychological terrorism in sheep’s clothing. It marks a final apocalypse for our generation and one of the end points of human consciousness if successful. We must find ways of exposing the Zionist forces that run Israel and do not support any entities that support the current Israeli government until they undergo their own restoration. Support the people of Israel and let them know you are with them. We recognize that America is stolen by criminals as is Israel. We must do whatever we can to restore these countries. We must all stand for what we believe and let truth abide regardless of what happens. For if we don’t do it now, we may never see tomorrow.

It is our obligation to support and pray for Jews and Palestinians alike as both of these people are threatened in one way or another due to these dangerous engineered government genocide-propaganda games and the groups they fund to create the chaos. These war propaganda campaigns are some of the deadliest campaigns known to humanity. They create, arm and fund the enemy, set up the victims, murder them and then they dance on their graves blaming others while telling more lies. History is full of examples of how propaganda has been used to wipe out entire groups of people. Why should we stand by and watch it happen over and over again? Let us stop everything we are doing, meditate, and find a way to disconnect from this government engineered consciousness that marks a critical point in their overall end-game agenda.

Israel Murders Gazan Health Workers

israel gaza war

A loud and cheerful welcome back to Stephen Lendman who bravely battled health concerns and is now back at doing what he does best: Educating readers about current events.

Israel wages genocidal wars without mercy. Even doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers and other health workers are targeted.

Civilians are as vulnerable as combatants. It’s longstanding Israeli policy.

On August 7, Amnesty International (AI) headlined “Mounting Evidence of deliberate attacks on Gaza health workers by Israeli army.”

Former prime minister Ehud Barak once outrageously called it “the most moral army in the world.” It’s a lawless, ruthless killing machine.

As a former prime minister, defense minister, foreign minister, and chief of general staff, Barack was complicit in some of its worst crimes of war, against humanity and genocide.

Morality is not part of its mandate. Mass slaughter and destruction are prioritized.

AI urges an immediate investigation of Israeli war crimes. Disturbing testimonies alone from doctors, nurses and ambulance personnel reveal a snapshot of overall Israeli ruthlessness.

According to AI’s North Africa Director, Philip Luther:

“The harrowing descriptions by ambulance drivers and other medics of the utterly impossible situation in which they have to work, with bombs and bullets killing or injuring their colleagues as they try to save lives, paint a grim reality of life in Gaza.”

“Even more alarming is the mounting evidence that the Israeli army has targeted health facilities or professionals.”

“Such attacks are absolutely prohibited by international law and would amount to war crimes. They only add to the already compelling argument that the situation should be referred to the International Criminal Court.”

Throughout Operation Protective Edge, medical workers were targeted, murdered or injured.

Others were prevented from reaching wounded Palestinians to rush them for treatment.

Jaber Khalil Abu Rumileh supervises Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital ambulance services. He described one Israeli shelling attack on his facility as follows:

“It was 3pm and I was working in the emergency unit. I heard bombing that shook the hospital. It was a shelling that had hit the fourth floor, the pregnancy and caesarean unit.”

“Then there were a few more hits. People were terrified. Patients ran out. Doctors could not enter to help the injured and remove the dead.”

“Then the third floor was hit and four people were killed. I saw one woman come running with the child she just gave birth to. Some women gave birth during the shelling.”

Ambulance driver Mohammad Abu Jumiza is one of many Palestinian victims.

“We were on our way back to Nasser hospital, driving with the lights and sirens on as always,” he said. “The ambulance was clearly marked as such.”

“The doctor, nurse and I were all wearing medical uniforms. When we reached the Islamic University I heard an explosion right next to us and the front and back windows of the car fell out.”

“As I was turning another missile hit next to us, and then a third one. When the fourth missile hit, I lost control and we crashed.”

“So we ran out of the car and found shelter in a building. Then there were two more missiles fired and some people were injured.”

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), at least two of its ambulance workers were killed. At least another 35 injured.

Seventeen health vehicles were damaged or destroyed by Israeli attacks.

“Our ambulances are often targeted although they are clearly marked and display all signs that they are ambulances,” said PRCS.

“The army should be able to distinguish from the air that what they targeting are ambulances.” They know precisely what they’re targeting.

Israel shot ambulance worker Mohammad Al-Abadlah multiple times. He bled to death.

He was traveling in a clearly marked ambulance wearing his medical uniform. Colleagues trying to help him were also shot.

Overall conditions in Gaza are catastrophic:

  • entire neighborhoods destroyed or damaged;
  • entire families murdered in cold blood;
  • according to UN officials, around 450 Palestinian children killed;
  • the official Palestinian death toll tops 1,900.
  • with many bodies under rubble to be found and fatalities from grave injuries ahead, a more accurate figure easily tops 2,000;
  • as many as 10,000 wounded; some too gravely to save;
  • no power;
  • inadequate water, food, essential drugs and medical equipment; and
  • impossible to understand nightmarish human misery beyond comprehension except for Palestinians experiencing it.

-Israel continues committing one of history’s great crimes.

-Palestinian deaths and injuries mount.

-No end of conflict looms.

-The world community yawns and does nothing to help beleaguered Palestinians.

-Washington fully supports Israel’s killing machine.

-US tax dollars pay for death, destruction and human misery.

-A war on truth accompanies hot war.

-Non-combatant civilians suffer most.

-The vast majority of Gazan victims are civilian men, women, children, infants, the elderly and infirm.

-Israel considers them legitimate targets.

-Cold-blooded mass murder and destruction reflect official Israeli policy.

-Where things end, who knows!

Investigating Gaza War Crimes

On August 11, Human Rights Council (HRC) President Baudelaire Ndong Ella announced the formation of an “independent, international commission of inquiry” into war crimes committed during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge.

International human rights law expert Professor William Schabas was appointed to chair a three-person panel. His special focus is genocide.

Other members include international law, criminal law, human rights and extradition law expert, Amal Alamuddin, and former UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, Doudou Diene.

Note: According to AP, Alamuddin said she’s unable to serve. Expect an alternate appointment to replace her.

The HRC “decided to establish the commission of inquiry at its twenty-first special session on 23 July 2014 to investigate all violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, particularly in the occupied Gaza Strip, in the context of the military operations conducted since 13 June 2014, whether before, during or after, to establish the facts and circumstances of such violations and of the crimes perpetrated and to identify those responsible, to make recommendations, in particular on accountability measures, all with a view to avoiding and ending impunity and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable, and on ways and means to protect civilians against any further assaults.”

Schabas is a well-known Israeli critic. He praised the Goldstone Committee Operation Cast Lead report. More on it below.

Earlier, he called for putting Netanyahu and former Israeli president Shimon Peres in the dock at the International Criminal Court for committing high crimes too serious to ignore.

Israel failed to influence the commission of inquiry’s composition. In response to the appointment of Schbas, Alamuddin, and Diene, it called the panel “biased, misconceived and destructive.”

Defrocked and reinstated Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called HRC a “terrorists’ rights council.” His spokesman Yigal Palmer added:

If more evidence was needed to show this, the appointment of the commission’s chairman, whose opinions and positions against Israel are known to all, proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Israel cannot expect justice from such a body, and that the report has already been written and remains only to be signed.

In March 2015, the commission will submit its report. According to HRC President Ella, its mission is also “to establish the facts and circumstances of (human rights) violations and of the crimes perpetrated and to identify those responsible, to make recommendations, in particular on accountability measures, all with a view to avoiding and ending impunity and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable, and on ways and means to protect civilians against any further assaults.”

MSM scoundrels reported little or nothing about the commission’s appointment and mission. The New York Times covered it in one long paragraph only with little context.

Pro-Israeli bias is longstanding MSM policy. An attempt to downplay the potential importance of the commission’s investigation shows in failure to give it the attention it deserves.

Following Israel’s 2008-09 Operation Cast Lead, the HRC appointed the Goldstone “fact-finding mission to investigate international human rights and humanitarian law violations related to the recent conflict in the Gaza Strip.”

On September 15, 2009, the HRC released the commission’s 575-page report, titled “Human Rights in Palestine and Other Occupied Arab Territories: Report of the United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict.”

An accompanying press release said “there is evidence indicating serious violations of international human rights and humanitarian law were committed by Israel during the Gaza conflict, and that Israel committed actions amounting to war crimes, and possibly crimes against humanity.”

Examples included Palestinians shot while waving white flags, arbitrary arrests, extrajudicial assassinations and using Palestinians as human shields.

According to the commission:

While the Israeli Government has sought to portray its operations as essentially a response to rocket attacks in the exercise of its right of self defence, the Mission considers the plan to have been directed, at least in part, at a different target: the people of Gaza as a whole.

Palestinian rocket and mortar attacks were minor incidents compared to Israel’s onslaught.

The Palestinian death toll exceeded 1,400. Thousands were injured.

Israeli aggression amounted to strictly prohibited collective punishment against a civilian population.

It lawlessly targeted residential neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, mosques, public buildings, factories and vital infrastructure.

It violated the principles of “distinction” between combatants and military targets v. civilians and non-military ones, as well as “proportionality” prohibiting disproportionate force likely to cause extensive damage and loss of life.

Commission findings included numerous examples of disproportionate Israeli attacks against civilians with lethal outcomes.

It called them war crimes for being unrelated to justifiable military objectives. It cited “a justice crisis in the Occupied Palestinian Territory that warrants action.”

It urged referral to the International Criminal Court for further action.

The Goldstone “report conclude(d) that the Israeli military operation was directed at the people of Gaza as a whole, in furtherance of an overall and continuing policy aimed at punishing the Gaza population, and in a deliberate policy of disproportionate force aimed at the civilian population.”

The destruction of food supply installations, water sanitation systems, concrete factories and residential houses was the result of a deliberate and systematic policy which has made the daily process of living, and dignified living, more difficult for the civilian population.

Repeatedly, the Israel Defense Forces failed to adequately distinguish between combatants and civilians, as the laws of war strictly require.

Pursuing justice in this case is essential because no state or armed group should be above the law.

Failure to do so “will have a deeply corrosive effect on international justice, and reveal an unacceptable hypocrisy.”

As a service to hundreds of civilians who needlessly died and for the equal application of international justice, the perpetrators of serious violations must be held to account.

On October 19, 2009, the 47-member HRC approved a resolution endorsing Israeli war crimes charges.

The vote was 25 in favor, six against (including Washington), 11 abstentions and five no-shows.

On September 21, 2010, an HRC statement said:

It was clear to the Committee that the IDF had not distinguished between civilians and civilian objects and military targets.

Both the loss of life and the damage to property were disproportionate to the harm suffered by Israel or any threatened harm. Israel’s actions could not be justified as self-defense.

The IDF was responsible for the crime of killing, wounding and terrorizing civilians (as well as) wonton(ly) destr(oying) property and that such destruction could not be justified on grounds of military necessity.

The HRC called IDF crimes so grave, “it was compelled to consider whether (genocide) had been committed.” Its conclusion was that Israel “committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and, possibly genocide in the course of Operation Cast Lead.”

This writer calls Operation Protective Edge Cast Lead on steroids. The 2008-09 war lasted 22 days – from December 27, 2008 until January 18, 2009.

Israel’s current aggression began on July 8. It remains ongoing. Shaky ceasefires interrupted hostilities briefly. A current 72-hour one continues during talks in Cairo aimed at ending conflict conditions.

A previous three-day suspension of accomplished nothing. Both sides remain at impasse. Israel wants all its demands met unconditionally.

It offers virtually nothing in return except empty promises certain to be broken. On Tuesday, Reuters quoted an unnamed Israeli official saying no progress was made during current talks.

“The gaps between the sides are big, and there is no progress in the negotiations,” he said. Hamas had no comment.

According to Maan News, a partial draft on easing Gaza’s siege was drafted. Terms include:

  1. Letting Gazans fish up to 12 nautical miles from shore.
  2. Increasing daily trucks with imported goods to 250.
  3. Increasing the number of monthly permits for Gazans to pass through Erez crossing to 500.
  4. Permitting money transfers from the West Bank to Gaza via the PA.
  5. Opening the Rafah crossing to Egypt.
  6. Freeing released prisoners in exchange for Gilad Shalit later rearrested.
  7. According to the Israeli Ynet news site, letting construction materials enter Gaza “under close supervision.”
  8. Prohibiting construction of a seaport to facilitate imports and exports unless Hamas and other resistance groups agreed to demilitarize.

It’s unclear how they’ll react to this proposal. It’s well short of lifting siege conditions and agreeing to other fundamental Palestinian demands.

It bears repeating what previous articles stressed. Israeli agreements aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Willful violations occur with disturbing regularity. Israel invents reasons to justify the unjustifiable.
Whatever comes out of Cairo talks, expect the pattern to repeat this time. Expect long sought justice to be denied.

At the same time, Israel violated ceasefire conditions by using live fire against Palestinian fishermen off southern Gaza’s coast. No injuries were reported.

On August 11, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported 2,008 Palestinians killed. They include 1,670 civilians (83%): 471 were children; 252 were women.

Another 8,150 Palestinians were wounded, many seriously. Other reports said up to 10,000. Thousands of houses were destroyed or damaged.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forcibly displaced. Israel bombed and shelled their homes and neighborhoods to rubble.

It remains unaccountable for crimes of war and against humanity amounting to genocide. Goldstone’s Cast Lead report achieved nothing. Expect justice to be denied again this time.

With Western support and US Security Council veto power, Israel is free to commit high crimes against peace whenever it wishes with impunity.

It takes full advantage. Palestinian liberation remains an unfulfilled distant dream. Maybe some day. Not now.
