U.S. Admits Paying Terrorists For Services Rendered In Syria

By: Brandon Turbeville | Activist Post –

When researchers such as myself have reported that the United States is funding al-Qaeda, Nusra, ISIS and other related terror organizations in Syria, we were not kidding. Still, despite the fact that even the U.S. government itself has admitted that it was funding terroristsdirectly and indirectly through Saudi Arabia, the suggestion was met with disbelief, ridicule, or either entirely ignored.

Now, however, the United States government has admitted that it funds terrorists on the ground in Syria yet again, this time placing an individual dollar amount on the assistance provided.

According to the Pentagon, Syrian “rebels” being trained and “vetted” by the United States are receiving “compensation” to the tune of anywhere between $250 to $400 per month to act as America’s proxy forces in the Middle East. Reuters reports that the payment levels were confirmed by the Pentagon and also that the Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter and Navy Commander Elissa Smith both separately admitted the fact that these “new” terrorists are receiving a stipend.

Reuters also reported on alleged obstacles the Pentagon claims it is facing regarding the ability to train the death squad volunteers due to a lack of ability to “vet” them appropriately as well as a bizarre incident where fighters abandon the mission after having received training from the US military. The reason provided by the Pentagon was that the fighters did not want to sign a contract to avoid fighting Assad. But, in the same report, the Pentagon states that there was no such contract – only one requiring them to “respect human rights” and “the rule of law,” so the reason provided for the disappearance of these fighters lacks legitimacy. One can only speculate as to where these “trainees” disappeared to.

Of course, “human rights” and the “rule of law” have never been concerns before, even as the United States has funded, armed, trained, and directed jihadists on the ground from the very beginning of the Syrian crisis. Neither has there been any concern over the presence of “moderate” rebels that have never actually existed in Syria. After all, it should be remembered that the United States own Defense Intelligence Agency was recently forced to release and declassify documents which admitted that not only did the US know that the “rebellion” was made up of al-Qaeda and Nusra forces but that these organizations and similar groups were attempting to create a “Salafist principality” in the east of Syria and West of Iraq. The DIA docs also show that the US was supporting all of these efforts. In reality, of course, the US was directing these efforts.

Make no mistake, the United States is not funding “moderate vetted rebels” to fight ISIS or al-Qaeda. The US is funding jihadist terrorists and mercenaries to work alongside ISIS and al-Qaeda (if they are not members of these organizations already) to overthrow the secular government of Bashar al-Assad. Virtually every person of a moderate persuasion in Syria has long come over to the side of the Syrian government. Indeed, there was never such a thing as a moderate rebel in Syria to begin with and the reality on the ground has not changed since.

Thus, revelations that the United States is funding a mercenary army to overthrow Assad is nothing new. The only revelation contained in these recent reports are the chicken feed denominations of money that the terrorist savages are accepting for their services in barbarity and treason on behalf of the agenda of the Anglo-American world order.

Activists Denounce Death Of Over 230,000 People In Syria

syria war

At least 230,618 people have died in Syria since the start of the civil war in March 2011. Of this total, around 70,000 were civilians. Those are the numebrs revealed today by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Among the civilians, there are at least 11,493 minors and 7,371 women, who were killed directly or indirectly by the war being fought by the Syrian government against western supported terrorists.

In the opposition camp, there were at least 72,363 casualties, of which 31,247 were foreign fighters from radical groups such as the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) and the Front Nusra, the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda.

These groups have been and continue to be supported by the United States through its partners in the region in the same way that the US is now supporting Saudi Arabia in its bombing campaign against Yemen.

On the government side, at least 85,570 people died: 49,106 were members of the armed forces, while 32,533 others were members of pro-government groups that fight along government forces. Additionally, 4,000 members of the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah and Shiite militiamen that supported the Syrian government were also killed in combat.

All these fatalities do not count around 3,191 people whose origin is still of unknown.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that there have been more than 1.6 million people injured in more than four years of conflict and that eleven million people have been displaced from their homes.

The NGOs warned that the total count does not include the more than 20,000 missing people who were put in prisons by the Assad government, or the 5,000 people that have been kidnapped by ISIS.

The numbers have also omitted an estimated 7,000 prisoners who apparently died in the hands of regime opponents and 2,000 kidnapped by Islamist factions accused of collaborating with the Syrian authorities.

The report does not rule out that the death toll could be higher because of the secrecy with which those involved in the war keep their accounting of casualties and the difficulty in accessing some areas.

Turkish Newspaper: Turkey Shipped Weapons And Jihadists Into Syria

Turkey is a firm US ally in the region. The United States was caught shipping weapons into Syria via Libya, to arm jihadi militants.

Turkey is a firm US ally in the region. The United States was caught shipping weapons into Syria via Libya, to arm jihadi militants.

Cumhuriyet Challenges Erdogan’s attempt to Censor the press.

The same newspaper that leaked details about Turkey’s moves to arm Syrian rebels has now leaked information about how the Erdogan administration, through its intelligence arm, also coordinated the movement of jihadi fighters from Turkish territory to Syria.

The Turkish intelligence services (MIT) seem to have organized the transport of jihadi fighters across Turkish territory and into Syria, reported today the Turkish opposition newspaper Cumhuriyet.

It is the same newspaper which revealed a few days ago with photos and a video the alleged transfer of weapons in Turkish trucks controlled by MIT to Syrian territory. After that, the newspaper now reports on its cover that MIT was also involved in the transportation of jihadist guerrillas.

The fighters were taken in two buses from Atme IDP camp, near the Turkish border in the northwest corner of Syria to Tel Abiad, 200 kilometers further east.

According to Cumhuriyet, the movement of weapons and jihadi fighters took place on January 9, 2014 and a few days later, on January 13. Tel Abyad was conquered by the terrorist group identified as the Islamic State soon after the deployment of those weapons and those militia members.

While going through Turkish territory, the jihadists surrounded the area of Afrin in the hands of Kurdish militias, and Aleppo, where fighting units of the Free Syrian Army were also at odds with extremists groups.

The revelations by the Turkish daily are based on the statements of the bus drivers who appeared before a court when questioned by the discovery of ammunition in those vehicles.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s supporters accuse Cumhuriyet of “espionage” for having published photos and video footage of the Turkish arms shipments to Syria.

The newspaper’s editor, Can Dundar, has been sued by Erdogan’s attorney for making public the revelations and could be sentenced to life in prison for it.

Yihadist fighters and weapons

The recent publication, with videos and photos of an alleged shipment of arms from Ankara to jihadists in Syria has caused shock and threatens to further polarize the already tense relations between the government and the opposition.

The images show how alleged gendarmerie units from the Turkish army coordinate the movement of weapons and en into Syria, which is what the newspaper has reported. Strangely, the Turkish president did not get bothered much about the content of the photos, but because the same were publicly released by the newspaper.

According to the newspaper editor himself, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a complaint against the chief editor of a newspaper that published information. The lawsuit, which asks for two life sentences against Can Dündar, argues that such information was a collaborative act with a supposed organization of conspirators who mounted a plot to create the impression that Turkey helped terrorist organizations .

The government says that the trucks were bringing aid to Turkmen populations and that the allegations of arms shipments to the jihadists are false and part of an operation, by what he calls a “parallel state” to overthrow the government.

Before the formal charges were presented, Erdogan had announced in a television interview that the journalist would pay a “heavy price” for that information.

Turkish intellectuals, including Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk, have shown their support for the journalist and recalled that press freedom is an essential part of democracy.

The NGO Human Rights Watch also denounced the investigation opened by the prosecutor against the journalist and the newspaper that published the reports.

Mission Creep In Syria

 syria

Syria is Obama’s war. Imported IS and other takfiri terrorists are US proxy foot soldiers.

Assad’s government is the target, regime change Washington’s longstanding objective. On May 25, AP headlined “Turkey, US to provide air protection to Syrian rebels.”

They’re not rebels. They terrorists. They’re not moderates. They’re extremists.

AP said Washington and Ankara “agreed in ‘principle’ to provide air protection to Syrian rebels being trained and equipped to fight Islamic State militants, once they enter Syrian territory for battle” – according to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Fact: US special forces train, fund, arm and direct IS and other takfiri terrorists in Turkey, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to continue waging war on Assad’s government.

Cavusoglu said “(t)hey have to be supported by air. (Without air support), what is the point?”

In February, both countries agreed to train and arm around 15,000 anti-Assad fighters at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars.

So far, plans don’t include a no-fly zone and/or safe zone in Syrian territory. Details on how Washington intends providing air support aren’t known.

Obama’s game plan may be Libya 2.0 – terror-bombing a country into submission combined with ground forces committing mass murder and other atrocities.

All options remain open, Obama said earlier. Will US terror-bombing of Syria’s military follow? Will Damascus be targeted? Will efforts be made to kill Assad?

A potential major escalation looms. So far, US officials remain silent about what may be planned.

AP reported “US officials (saying Washington’s) aim is to train 5,000 (anti-Assad fighters) a year for three years” at sites in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Cavusoglu lied saying “the fight against (IS) is prioritized.” You don’t eliminate your own foot soldiers.

Plans call for toppling Assad – perhaps murdering him the way Washington disposed of Gaddafi, Saddam and other leaders it wanted eliminated.

Bloody US proxy war on Syria rages in its fifth year. Nearly half the population is displaced.

IS terrorists control large parts of Syrian territory. It appears just a matter of time before conflict reaches Damascus.

If US-terror-bombing targets Assad’s forces, expect Syria to become another Libya with endless conflict, chaos, turmoil and human misery throughout the country under dystopian conditions.

America’s killing machine operates this way against one country after another on the bogus pretext of protecting national security, humanitarian intervention and spreading democracy worldwide.

US mission creep apparently intends greater war on Syria than already. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said if so-called rebels “are contested by regime forces, we would have some responsibility to help them” – code language perhaps for full-scale US naked aggression against Syria posing no threat to America or its neighbors.

Washington Created The Islamic State (ISIS)

Militant Islamist fighters on a tank take part in a military parade along the streets of northern Raqqa province

America’s imperial agenda needs war, violence, turmoil and chaos.

Judicial Watch obtained a declassified 2012 Pentagon intelligence report anticipating ISIS (the Islamic State – IS) emerging from US support for Al Qaeda and other takfiri terrorists.

It predicted what happened, saying “(i)f the situation unravels there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared salafist principality in eastern Syria…and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).”

It anticipated “dire consequences” for Iraq – including the fall of Mosul and Ramadi, saying:

An “ideal atmosphere” was created “for AQI (Al Qaeda in Iraq) to return to its old pockets in Mosul and Ramadi.”

“ISI (Islamic State of Iraq) could also declare an Islamic state through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria, which will create grave danger in regards to unifying Iraq and the protection of its territory.”

Supporting powers include Washington, Turkey, other rogue NATO partners, Gulf states and Israel.

They created and supported takfiri terrorist groups to destabilize Syria, establish a “Salafist Principality,” and isolate the Assad government in an attempt to topple it.

According to former UK counterterrorism intelligence officer Charles Shoebridge:

“Given the political leanings of the organisation that obtained these documents, it’s unsurprising that the main emphasis given to them thus far has been an attempt to embarrass Hillary Clinton regarding what was known about the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi in 2012.”

“However, the documents also contain far less publicized revelations that raise vitally important questions of the West’s governments and media in their support of Syria’s rebellion.”

“Throughout the early years of the Syria crisis, the US and UK governments, and almost universally the West’s mainstream media, promoted Syria’s rebels as moderate, liberal, secular, democratic, and therefore deserving of the West’s support.”

“Given that these documents wholly undermine this assessment, it’s significant that the West’s media (have) now, despite their immense significance, almost entirely ignored them.”

Pentagon intelligence accurately anticipated “an Islamic State (emerging) through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.”

Washington et al supported Syrian “opposition forces” war to “control the eastern areas (Hasaka and Der Zor), bordering Western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar).”

Pentagon intelligence confirms US support for IS and other takfiri terrorists – not opposition as officially declared.

Years before public acknowledgement of IS’ existence, US defense intelligence knew takfiri terrorists constituted core Assad opposition.

Washington continues providing support. A previous article discussed a man named Yousal Al Salafi in detention in Pakistan getting US funding to recruit fighters to wage war on Assad.

He admitted getting $600 per recruit. They’re trained in Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Vice President Joe Biden admitted involvement of US allies in supporting IS and other takfiri terrorists, saying:

Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the UAE were “so determined to take down Assad” that they supported a “proxy Sunni-Shia war (by supplying) hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of tons of weapons” for anyone willing to fight his government.

Nations America targeted post-9/11 remain cauldrons of violence, chaos and instability. US strategy relies on it to advance its imperial agenda.

It includes endless wars, eliminating all independent governments, making the world safe for Western monied interests, and creating ruler-serf societies unfit to live in.

US-Supported Islamic State Terrorists Seize Palmyra

US-Supported Islamic State Terrorists Seize Palmyra

The ancient Syrian city is a UNESCO World Heritage site – one of the Middle East’s most treasured ones.

UNESCO calls it one of “outstanding universal value, (an) oasis in the Syria desert” northeast of Damascus.

“From the 1st to the 2nd century, the art and architecture of Palmyra, standing at the crossroads of several civilizations, married Greco-Roman techniques with local traditions and Persian influences.”

According to UNESCO director-general Irina Bokova, its ancient ruins “already suffered four years of conflict. It suffered from looting and represents an irreplaceable treasure for the Syrian people an for the world.”

She appealed to “all parties” to prevent its destruction. Short of immediate military intervention if Security Council authorized, ancient treasures appear lost.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich expressed grave concern saying “(w)e’d consider (the) destruction (of Palmyra’s architectural treasures) an unpardonable act of vandalism, encroachment on general human values, and an insult to civilization.”

“The activity of the so-called anti-ISIS coalition led by the United States has failed to produce results…and has not affected the ability of the Islamic State to expand.”

Obama bears full responsibility. Washington recruits, trains, funds, arms and directs IS/ISIS/ISIL Daish terrorists and likeminded ones – using them as proxy foot soldiers against independent governments like Syria it wants toppled.

Last week, the UN said a third of Palmyra’s population of 200,000 fled. US-supported Takfiri terrorists control large parts of Syria’s north and east.

Syrian state TV said government forces withdrew from the city. On Wednesday, its director of antiquities, Maamoun Abdulkarim, said:

“Hundreds and hundreds of statues we were worried would be smashed and sold are all now in safe places.”

“The fear is for the museum and the large monuments that cannot be moved. This is the entire world’s battle.”

IS control of Palmyra is “an international catastrophe. It will be a repetition of the barbarism and savagery (seen) in Nimrud, Hatra and Mosul,” Iraq.

UNESCO calls this type wanton destruction a “war crime.” IS terrorism is well-known. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported the following:

“Reliable local sources inside the city…said ISIS terrorists slaughtered and mutilated at least 400 civilians, including children, women and elderly people.”

Individuals targeted were alleged government loyalists or employees as well as others apparently unwilling to accept IS rule.

Palmyra’s National Hospital nursing department head was murdered along with her family members.

Thousands of city residents are trapped. They’re prevented from leaving. IS confiscated their property. According to SANA:

“These and other ISIS atrocities are being perpetrated amid shameful international silence, with the Security Council only expressing ‘concern’ without taking any practical deterrent measures on the ground.”

In mid-May, US special forces entered Syria covertly. White House national security council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan said Obama authorized the operation to kill or capture “ISIL senior leader known as Abu Sayyaf and his wife Umm.”

She’s in US military custody in Iraq, said Meehan. Abu Sayyaf was killed, she added. SANA reported the raid. Was it a Syrian operation, not a US one?

Why would Washington want one of its IS commanders killed? SANA reported Syrian forces killed IS “oil minister” Abu Taym Saudi on the same day. Was he Abu Sayyaf? Arabic names are often interchangeable.

Meehan claims the operation was conducted “with the full consent of Iraqi authorities…consistent with domestic and international law,” she added.

Syria is Obama’s war – naked aggression by any standard using IS and other takfiri terrorists as US proxy foot soldiers.

Reports indicate IS terrorists seized the Syrian/Iraqi Al-Tanaf border crossing, the last one Damascus controlled. It’s 150 miles from Palmyra.

Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi blamed Washington, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Israel, and other countries backing its war for atrocities committed in Palmyra.

He called on responsible international leaders and human rights organizations to denounce their support for terrorism.

Obama’s war is in its fifth year. Syria is being systematically raped – ravaged and destroyed in plain sight, a testimony to US viciousness.

DOD Admits Supporting ISIS, Buffer Zones In Syria

isis
By: Brandon Turbeville | Activist Post

While the Western mainstream media and even independent gatekeepers like Noam Chomsky for years spread the lie that any suggestion that the United States and NATO were supporting ISIS was a “conspiracy theory,” recently uncovered and declassified documents from the Defense Intelligence Agency have proven the Western press and the likes of Chomsky wrong and, yet again, the so-called “conspiracy theorists” right.

This is because, on May 18, Judicial Watch published a selection of recently declassified documents that were obtained from the US Department of Defense and the US State Department as a result of a lawsuit filed against the US government. The lawsuit and most of the documents contained within the release revolved around the Benghazi scandal but a deeper look into the documents dating back to 2012 reveal an even bigger story – that the US and NATO have admitted in their own documents to supporting al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Docs Show Al-Qaeda Involvement From Beginning – No Moderates

The documents demolish the “official story” of Western governments promoted from the beginning of the Syrian crisis until the present day – that the “rebellion” was organic, grassroots, and made up of moderates and freedom-loving democracy proponents. The document states unequivocally that “The Salafist [sic] the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.” It points out that “The West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support the opposition; while Russia, China, and Iran support the regime.” Tellingly, the report then states that “AQI supported the Syrian opposition from the beginning, both ideologically and through the media . . .”

Indeed, the documents clearly admit that the crisis unfolding in Syria was never a moderate rebellion fighting for democracy, it was made up of fighters from the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda (al-Qaeda In Iraq/Al-Nusra Front) from the very beginning.

US, Turkey, NATO Supporting ISIS and al-Qaeda – Supporting the Creation of Buffer Zones

The document continues in its revelations by stating that:

Opposition forces are trying to control the eastern areas (Hasaka and Der Zor), adjacent to the western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar), in addition to neighboring Turkish borders. Western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey are supporting these efforts. This hypothesis is most likely in accordance with the data from recent events, which will help prepare safe havens under international sheltering, similar to what transpired in Libya when Benghazi was chosen as the command center of the temporary government.

“Opposition forces,” of course, are al-Qaeda, al-Nusra Front, and ISIS, as mentioned and defined earlier by the DIA document. Thus, any questions of whether or not the US and its NATO/GCC allies have been supporting jihadists and terrorists, should be answered with the admissions made within these pages.

If al-Qaeda/ISIS = the “opposition,” then the US support for the “opposition” = US support for al-Qaeda/ISIS.

What is also well-known but now finally admitted to by the US government itself is the plan to establish “buffer zones” and “safe zones” on the Libyan model inside Syria. Such a plan has been covered extensively by myself and Tony Cartalucci (as well as many others in the alternative media) when the concept was considered a “conspiracy theory.”

Dividing Iraq and Syria – Fighting Iran and Shi’ite Expansion

In regards to geopolitical concerns and the breakup and destruction of the Syrian government as well as the Iraqi leadership, the document states:

If the situation unravels there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria, (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).

This “Salafist principality” is obviously the Islamic State, particularly when one visualizes the maps of territory claimed by the jihadist organization. As the DIA document admits, the expansion of the ISIS principality is taking place with the support and assistance of Western powers. This much is evidenced by the fact that the ISIS fighters running rampant across Iraq and especially Syria could never have been able to do so were it not for the support given to them by the GCC and NATO. These fighters certainly could never have held such territory if Western military assistance, Saudi money, and Turkish/Israeli logistics and intelligence had not been provided to them.

Note also the justification provided for such support: not only is the goal to “isolate the Syrian regime,” it is to prevent the “Shia expansion,” meaning the arc of influence held by Iran, growing daily largely due to Western imperialism, hypocrisy, tyranny, and double standards. Instead of attempting to combat Iran’s influence in a race for development and the raising of living standards, the West funds jihadist savages to behead and rape their away across civilized nations. This is because the goal is not merely to disrupt Iranian influence, it is to destroy Iran completely. Even Iran itself is a stepping stone to a greater confrontation with Russia and China.

Tony Cartalucci understands this concept well as he writes in his own article “America Admittedly Behind ISIS ‘Surge,’” when he says:

The Syrian war is not a localized conflict with limited goals. It is one leg of a much larger agenda to destroy Iran next, then move on to Russia and China. Combined with the Syrian campaign, the West has attempted to create arcs of destabilization across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and completely encircling China in Southeast Asia.

What this constitutes is a World War executed through the use of 4th generation warfare. At the same time, the West attempts to seek temporary appeasement and accommodation for itself so that it can more effortlessly advance its plans. Attempts to portray itself as interested in “negotiations” with Iran while it wages a proxy war on its doorstep is a prime example of this.

The corporate-financier special interests that have hijacked the United States and Europe have essentially declared war on all lands beyond their grasp, as well as on any and all among their own ranks who oppose their hegemonic aspirations.

The vile conspiracy now openly unfolding in Syria, seeing to its destruction at the hands of terrorists the US is openly backing after claiming for over a decade to be “fighting” is a harbinger of the destruction that complacency and failure to resist will bring all other nations caught in the path of these special interests. Nations not immediately caught in the grip of chaos created by this conspiracy must use their time wisely, preparing the appropriate measures to resist. They must study carefully what has been done in Syria and learn from both the mistakes and accomplishments of the Syrian government and armed forces in fighting back.

Conclusion

While the Western mainstream press and other “independent” gatekeepers were attempting to paint the suggestion that the United States was supporting ISIS in Iraq and Syria as a “conspiracy theory,” the US government was indeed supporting ISIS in Iraq and Syria but hiding behind a narrative of democracy-loving freedom fighters and “moderate rebels” as it did so. This narrative was disseminated by the same Western press that labeled the alternative media as a collection of paranoid schizophrenics for reporting what has now been confirmed by the DIA document release a full four to ten years ago.

The truth is that the United States has been funding ISIS all along and that the terrorist organization would not exist were it not for its being created by American intelligence agencies as far back as the 1970s under the name Al-Qaeda and Mujahadeen.

While the DIA document release is only news in terms of the confirmation of US support for ISIS, it can be chalked up as one more reason the mainstream and traditional media outlets have become entirely irrelevant and overwhelmingly discredited.

More Evidence Of Israel’s Dirty Role In The Syrian Proxy War

israel, syrian rebels

By: Steven MacMillan | New Eastern Outlook

Video footage surfaced last week showing the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) treating a wounded anti-Assad Syrian rebel, following a UN report at the end of last year which found that the IDF and the Syrian rebels (including ISIS) were in regular contact. The Times of Israel reported on this latest video in an article titled, IDF posts footage of medics saving Syrian rebel in Golan:

“The IDF on Saturday released rare footage of its medics performing a life-saving procedure on one of the most severely wounded Syrian combatants medical personnel have encountered in the Golan Heights… The man, a Syrian rebel who belongs to an unnamed organization fighting against the Assad regime and its allies, received treatment at the border and then inside Israel, and was ultimately able to return to Syria… Since the start of the civil war in 2011, the IDF has treated an estimated 1,600 non-combatants and anti-Assad rebels… Although Israel’s treatment of militants from Syria — many of whom are believed to belong to Islamist organizations such as the al-Qaeda affiliated Nusra Front — may seem bizarre given the animosity these types of groups have expressed for the Jewish state in the past, Israel has approached the issue from a humanitarian point of view.”

The Times of Israel tries to spin Israel’s assistance to the Syrian rebels as purely “from a humanitarian point of view”, in reality however, Israel supports the Syrian opposition for its own geopolitical ends. Weakening the Syrian regime has been a geopolitical objective of the Israeli establishment for decades, with strategic papers dating back to the 1980’s detailing this goal. Oded Yinon, an Israeli journalist who had close connections to the Foreign Ministry in Israel, wrote an article in 1982 which was published in a journal of the World Zionist Organisation titled: “A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties”. In it, Yinon outlines that the “dissolution of Syria and Iraq” are “Israel’s primary” objectives in the region:

“The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unique areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel’s primary target on the Eastern front in the long run, while the dissolution of the military power of those states serves as the primary short term target.” (p.11.)

Israel’s strategic desire to weaken both Syria and Iraq was again reiterated in 1996 when a study group led by neocon Richard Perle prepared a policy document for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu titled: ‘A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm’. The document states:

“Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right — as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.”

More recently, Israeli officials have publically revealed their desire to topple the regime in Damascus and break the alliance between Iran, Syria and Hezbollah. In an interview in 2013, the Israeli Ambassador to the US at the time Michael Oren publically expressed that Israel “always wanted Bashar Assad to go”, adding that “the greatest danger to Israel is the strategic arc that extends from Tehran, to Damascus to Beirut.”

Israel has been aiding the Syrian opposition with more than just medical assistance since the start of the Syrian proxy war however, as Tel Aviv has bombed Syrian territory repeatedly in addition to providing anti-Assad forces with arms. In August of last year, Sharif As-Safouri, the commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Al-Haramein Battalion at the time, revealed that he had “entered Israel five times to meet with Israeli officers who later provided him with Soviet anti-tank weapons and light arms”, as The Times of Israel reported.

Tel Aviv has also been accused of creating and facilitating the rise of ISIS itself. The chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi, stated that ISIS was created and supported by Israel, Britain and the US in order to achieve these states own objectives. A report that seemed to emerge from Gulf News in 2014 also asserted that the leader of ISIS and the new so-called caliph, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, was trained by the Mossad, although some have questioned the validity of this report. It should also be noted that some news reports assert that Baghdadi was seriously injured or even killed by a US drone strike in April.

There is no question that Israel is playing a prominent role in the attempted destruction of the Syrian state, and is guilty of destroying the lives of millions of people through their support of anti-Assad mercenaries.  Syrians are now the second largest refugee population on the planet according to a UN report (only second to Palestinians), all thanks to the NATO/Israeli/Saudi axis of evil which has funded and supported rebel armies in Syria.

Worse Than Williams: NBC, Richard Engel And Their Fake Syrian Kidnapping Story

richard_engel_today_show_sg_img_0

21st Century Wire says…

“Syria is one of the biggest propaganda schemes of our time. When the dust settles, if it does, it will be revealed”
– Professor AbuKhalil

“Journalists are never real journalists if they are agents of power no matter how they disguise that role.”
– John Pilger

As bad as those ‘war theater’ lies by Brian Williams and Bill O’Reilly are, this howler by NBC and their ‘trusted’ reporter Richard Engel – is much worse by far.

Keen to help Washington in its all-out campaign for regime change in Syria, we can now see very clearly – to what lengths major US media outlets are were willing to go, by using a completely contrived situation to publicly demonize the government of Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

Let’s be clear. We’re not just talking about mere spin here. Broadcast executives knowingly facilitated the concocting of a false narrative which just happened to fit perfectly into Washington’s own neatly arranged foreign policy objectives at that very moment…

FAUX HOSTAGE: NBC’s Richard Engel played starring role in this US propaganda classic.

FAUX HOSTAGE: NBC’s Richard Engel played starring role in this US propaganda classic.

Back in December 2012, Engel claimed he was kidnapped along with four other journalists while traveling inside Syria by “pro-Assad Shi’ite forces”. Engel went on to claim how his “pro-Assad” captors brutally tortured reporters and even killed their ‘Free Syrian Army’ rebel chaperone, before eventually being “rescued” by other rebels. Engel did endless rounds in the US media retelling his sensational tale, skillfully crafting a narrative of suffering at the hands of the evil and merciless “Syrian government”, and “Iranian-aligned Shi’ite forces”.

This week, the story finally collapsed. It turns out that Engel was at the very least an unquestioning (journalist?) dupe or ‘useful idiot’ in this saga. We’re told he is fluent in Arabic and a veteran international correspondent, so it really doesn’t make sense that he would be so stupid as to fall for such a transparent charade. At worse he could also be a knowing accomplice to it. One cannot say if he was definitely in on the ruse, but it’s more than safe to say that he played a staring role in a giant US media propaganda exercise, himself voluntarily inserting faux ‘Shi’ite’ and ‘pro-Hezbollah’ talking points into his narrative. Not surprisingly, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and others happily swallowed this scripted account, over and over. Two and a half years later, the principle players finally admit it was fake. Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept reports:

“As it turns out, that seems to be exactly what happened. Last night, Engel posted a new statement on the NBC News website stating that, roughly one month ago, he had been contacted by The New York Times, which “uncovered information that suggested the kidnappers were not who they said they were and that the Syrian rebels who rescued us had a relationship with the kidnappers.” That inquiry from The NYT caused him to re-investigate the kidnapping, and he concluded that “the group that kidnapped us was Sunni, not Shia” and that “the group that freed us” — which he had previously depicted as heroic anti-Assad rebels — actually “had ties to the kidnappers.”

“NBC officials knew at the time that there was reason to be highly skeptical of the identity of the captors, but nonetheless allowed Engel and numerous other NBC and MSNBC reporters to tell this story with virtually no questioning.”

Richard-Engle-Fake-Syria-News
By definition, this was a false flag kidnapping.

“The Brian Williams scandal is basically about an insecure, ego-driven TV star who puffed up his own war credentials by fabricating war stories: it’s about personal foibles. But this Engel story is about what appears to be a reckless eagerness, if not deliberate deception, on the part of NBC officials to disseminate a dubious storyline which, at the time, was very much in line with the story that official Washington was selling (by then, Obama was secretly aiding anti-Assad rebels, and had just announced – literally a week before the Engel kidnapping — “that the United States would formally recognize a coalition of Syrian opposition groups as that country’s legitimate representative”). Much worse, the NBC story was quite likely to fuel the simmering war cries in the West to attack (or at least aggressively intervene against) Assad.”

That’s a pretty comprehensive assessment of what went down, and this also hints at coordination – at a very high level – between the mainstream media and the US government.

SPOOKS NOTE: For those versed in the art of grifting and professional con artistry, this type of Kansas City Shuffle scam would require that at least one member of the kidnap victims’ party be in on the con, so as to ensure that the rest of group stayed in line and didn’t do anything stupid during the staged operation.

Without a doubt, this is a prime example of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird in action – from beginning to end – a purely fake story, created and designed to cajole both public and also mainstream media opinion over towards the US State Department’s stated goal of regime change in Syria.

Greenwald adds here: “At the very least, NBC owes a serious accounting for what happened here, yet thus far refuses to provide one (note how, as usual, the media outlets who love to sanctimoniously demand transparency from others refuse to provide even a minimal amount about themselves). There were — and are — a lot of shadowy interests eager to bring about regime change in Syria and to malign Iran and Hezbollah with false claims. Whether by intent or outcome, that’s what this story did. If it was not only false at the time, NBC executives repeatedly broadcast it, but recklessly disseminated with ample reason to suspect its falsity, that is a huge journalistic scandal.”

MOCKING BIRD IN ACTION: Anderson Cooper and British operative ‘Syrian Danny’.

The rest of the US mainstream media mockingbirds will not touch this story in the same way they did with egomaniacs Brian Williams and Bill O’Reilly. In classic ‘WWF’ fashion, CNN’s ‘hard-hitting ‘senior’ political correspondent and host of “Reliable Sources” (yes, that’s the actual title of the show), Brian Stelter, spent weeks lamenting over NBC’s Williams and chasing FOX’s O’Reilly, which achieved nothing in the end other than making Stetler appear “tough” on FOX. Will the ‘hard-hitting’ Stetler dare touch the Engel story with even a portion of the theatrical zeal he unleashed on O’Reilly? Probably will not. Firstly, because if he did, it would open up CNN to criticism for doing the exact same scam (perpetrated by the network against its audience) when it proudly paraded its prized ‘Syrian Opposition’ figure, named Danny Dayem, aka ‘Syrian Danny’ (strangely, he speaks with a noticeable London accent), who has since disappeared from public view. Danny was CNN’s go-to guy, a self-described “opposition activist”making regular appearances via satellite and even in-studio, with Anderson Cooper and others – lobbying for the US and NATO to ‘join in’ by arming, or intervening to help him and his merry band of upstart “moderate rebels” aka the ‘Free Syria Army’. It was all going swimmingly well, until video was leaked which showed Danny operating out of make-shift sound studio somewhere in Syria (or Turkey?) complete with fake gun and mortar fire audio sound effects, coordinating with CNN producers on the other line – in essence creating fake ‘on the ground’ news reports from behind the lines. CNN should have lost its broadcast license for this, just as NBC should too, but it’s pretty evident that regulations do not apply to major media outlets.

Watch CNN and Danny’s fake broadcasts here:

Consortium News
explains who’s behind the bevy of fake “activists” attached to the ‘Syrian Spring’:

“Syrian dissidents received funding from the Los Angeles-based Democracy Council, which ran a Syria-related program called the “Civil Society Strengthening Initiative” funded with $6.3 million from the State Department. The program is described as “a discrete collaborative effort between the Democracy Council and local partners” to produce, among other things, “various broadcast concepts.” James Prince, the founder and President of the Democracy Council, is also an adviser to CyberDissidents.org, a project created in 2008 by the Jerusalem-based Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies, founded and funded by Sheldon Adelson, a patron and confidant of Benjamin Netanyahu. Other resources include postings on social media and alternative websites with sensational stories such as the anti-Assad activist “Gay Girl in Damascus” who turned out to be a middle-aged American man in Scotland or Syrian Danny Abdul Dayem, who was frequently interviewed using fake gun fire and flames in his interviews.”

CNN would never dare expose its own role in Washington’s ‘regime change’ soap opera in Syria, alongside the entirety of the US mainstream media – all of whom have gladly worked in concert to promote each and every one of the US State Department’s deceptive talking points about ‘moderate rebels’ in Syria, allowing both ISIS, al Nusra, and other known terrorist brigades in Syria, much-needed time to build-up their ranks and gain traction throughout the region. Yes, the US and western media were crucial in making this process happen from 2011 until now.

It’s evident now how “respected” NBC journalist Richard Engel had a bias in favor of the ‘rebels’ (via The Intercept):

NBC’s security advisers were convinced that there was some FSA involvement in this and contacted wealthy Syrian-American donors of the rebel group, pointing out that Richard had been supportive of the uprising against Assad.

Hardly ‘objective’, here we can see how Engel plays the gray role of activist, or ‘change agent’, albeit, embedded inside a major media outlet. But that’s not all. He also appears to have initially lied about witnessing his captors being killed during his heroic rescue (all part of weaving the kidnapping myth). The fact that Engel has changed his story about this very important detail (a crucial detail which effectively ‘glued’ the NBC false narrative together) should indicate that he was aware of the false narrative, if not involved in it. The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald adds here:

“On a different note: as I noted above, Engel claimed repeatedly that the anti-Assad rebels killed some of his pro-government captors when rescuing him. He stated the same thing in a Vanity Fair article he wrote recounting his kidnapping. But as The New York Times notes today, Engel now acknowledges that he never saw a body:

engel
For any readers who may doubt the existence of Operation Mockingbird, or that top US media outlets are working in full coordination with entities like the US State Department and the CIA – this story should put those doubts to rest.

Verdict: NBC, along with the other media majors, have been caught promoting another war overseas. They did it in Iraq, they’ve done it with Syria, and they’re also doing it with the Ukraine.

Most of what we see and hear from our ‘trusted’ media is fake…

NBC’s Conduct in Engel Kidnapping Story is More Troubling than the Brian Williams Scandal

Glenn Greenwald

The Intercept

Throughout 2012, numerous American factions were pushing for U.S. intervention in Syria to bring down the regime of Bashar Assad, who throughout the War on Terror had helped the U.S. in all sorts of ways, including torturing people for them.

But by then, Assad was viewed mostly as an ally of Iran, and deposing him would weaken Tehran, the overarching regional strategy of the U.S. and its allies. The prevailing narrative was thus created that those fighting against Assad were “moderate” and even pro-Western groups, with the leading one dubbed “the Free Syrian Army.”

Whether to intervene in Syria in alliance with or on behalf of the “Free Syrian Army” was a major debate in the West through the end of that year. Then-Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee John Kerry was openly discussing ways for the U.S. to aid the rebels to bring about regime change. Sen. Joe Lieberman was saying: “I hope the international community and the U.S. will provide assistance to the Syrian Free Army in the various ways we can.” Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while ruling out direct military intervention, said: “[W]e have to redouble our efforts outside of the United Nations with those allies and partners who support the Syrian people’s right to have a better future.”

A U.N. resolution calling for Assad to step down was supported by NATO states but vetoed by China and Russia, who were concerned that it would be depicted as a “regime change” endorsement to justify Western military intervention. By the following year, John Kerry, by then Obama’s secretary of state, was arguing that direct U.S. military action in Syria against Assad — a full-scale bombing campaign — was a moral and strategic imperative.

As it turns out, the “moderate” “Free Syrian Army” was largely a myth. By far, the most effective fighting forces against Assad were anything but “moderate,” composed instead of various Al Qaeda manifestations and even more extreme elements. After the U.S. and its Gulf allies funded and armed those groups for a while, the U.S. did ultimately go to war in Syria, but more in alliance with Assad than against him…

Syria Falsely Accused Of Using Chemical Weapons – Again

syria chemical weapons

Throughout years of Obama’s war on Syria, President Bashar al-Assad was falsely accused of using chemical weapons (CWs) numerous times.

No corroborating evidence whatever indicates Syrian forces used them in any form any time.

Clear evidence shows IS, Nusra Front and other anti-Syrian elements used them them against defenseless civilians – including toxic agents Saudi Arabia supplied.

Anti-Syrian propaganda is relentless. Assad repeatedly faces false accusations.

During a Thursday closed-door Security Council session, members heard testimonies from Syrian doctors.

They alleged use of chemical weapons. A video of unexplained origin was shown with medical workers struggling to help choking and vomiting children.

Washington, Britain and France once again falsely accused Assad of using CWs – despite Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) officials, the UN and Obama himself publicly declaring Syria chemical weapons-free.

Damascus fully cooperated in their destruction. Any CWs remaining are in the hands of extremist elements – with active complicity of Saudi Arabia and perhaps other complicit rogue states.

Russia alone firmly says no evidence whatever indicates Syrian CW use.

US UN envoy Samantha Power lied claiming otherwise – concocting false claims about CWs used from helicopters.

Washington uses radiological, chemical and biological agents in all its wars. So does Israel.

Not a shred of evidence points to Syrian use. In a Friday interview, Assad was asked about being accused of CW use. His response was clear and unequivocal, saying:

“We always said this is propaganda against Syria from the very first day, to demonize the president to demonize the state, in order to bring the hearts and minds of the Syrian people toward their agenda.”

“That didn’t work, and if you want to compare this propaganda to what is happening now in the West regarding Ukraine, it’s nearly the same; demonizing Putin and telling and forging, a lot of videos and things that only tell the public opinion in the West lies.”

“This is reality. Western people should be aware about this.”

“That doesn’t mean we don’t have mistakes, we don’t have something wrong or something bad going on, but at the end, this media propaganda doesn’t reflect the reality in our region.”

“So, talking about the chemical weapons, they didn’t have a single evidence regarding this, and even the numbers that are being published by many European organizations as part of that propaganda were varied from 200 victims to 1,400 victims.”

“It means it’s not objective, it’s not precise, and so far there’s no evidence that those people were killed because of this attack.”

“The only evidence that we have when the committee came from the United Nations, it proved that the sarin gas was used in that area, but they couldn’t tell how and by whom, so they just keep accusing Syria of that.”

“That’s not realistic, because if you want to use WMDs, you don’t kill a few hundreds; you kill tens of thousands of people, and that’s beside the capital, it will affect everyone. So, many stories regarding this issue are not correct.”

Assad added when UN authorities found proof of “terrorists” using CWs, they “didn’t try to verify it.”

“They didn’t mention it. So it’s part of the political agenda against Syria.”

OPCW representatives are investigating the latest use of CWs in Syria. They’ll report on their findings when available.

In March, Security Council members adopted a resolution prohibiting use of chlorine and other toxic chemical agents in Syria.

“(S)tress(ing) that those individuals responsible for any use of chemicals as weapons, including chlorine or any other toxic chemical, must be held accountable.”

Last month, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said Moscow hopes OPCW officials will investigate alleged use of chlorine gas in Syria – as well as coordinate with Damascus with regard to its supervised elimination of all CWs in its stockpile.

“Against this rather calm, reasonable and operational background, a number of member-countries of the OPCW Executive Council unfortunately made another demarche to official Damascus for its alleged non-compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention,” Lukashevich explained.

“In particular, groundless accusations based on some questionable publications were voiced against pro-government forces in using chlorine against civilians, in this case in Syria’s Idlib province.”

“We hope that the OPCW mission on establishing instances of possible use of chlorine as a chemical weapon in Syria will check this information in its work, along with information provided by Damascus in December last year on possible involvement in crimes with the use of chlorine of extremist and terrorist organizations operating in Syria.”

“The same member-countries of the OPCW Executive Committee, which make unrestrained attacks on Damascus, fully ignore and deliberately hush up emerging evidence that extremist organizations, first of all the Islamic State, use chlorine in terrorism purposes in Syria and Iraq.”

“We again have to note double standards here.”

Syria is Obama’s war – using recruited, armed, funded and directed imported death squads, IS, Nusra Front, Al Qaeda and others.

War is in its fifth year. It shows no signs of ending. Obama is systematically raping another sovereign state.

He wants US-controlled puppet governance replacing Syrian independence.

He wants what nearly 90% of Syrians oppose. He’s committing genocide to get his way. Assad is wrongfully blamed for his high crimes.

Rebranding Al-Qaeda’s Jabhat Al Nusra As “Moderates”

Al-Nusra-Front-in-Syria
By: Maram Susli | New Eastern Outlook

The CIA backed and armed Syrian rebel group, Hazm brigade disbanded and its members have defected to Al Qaeda linked Jabhat Al Nusra (JAN) and ISIS. Hazm brigade also left behind a warehouse of US provided weapons, including anti-tank TOW missiles, which JAN has seized. With no one left to arm against the Syrian state but JAN, the US State Department has attempted to rebrand JAN as a non-Al Qaeda moderate force. The next step of the plan is to allow US proxy Qatar to openly arm JAN. However, the audacious campaign has so far been an abysmal failure.

Hazm Brigade Provided Plausible Deniability

The latest defection and disbanding was not the first time that the US backed Hazm brigade had handed over US provided weapons to Al Qaeda, the last incident occurring in December of 2014. It was previously asserted that the US administration advertised the ‘moderate’ Hazm brigade in order to maintain plausible deniability whilst knowing the heavy weapons they provide, such as anti-tank missiles, would eventually end up in the hands of Al Qaeda.

Indeed, former-US ambassador Robert Ford recently admitted through his twitter account to Syrian journalist Edward Dark, that the US knew the Syrian rebels they were backing were allied to Al Qaeda. With the announcement that Hazm brigade had disbanded, the State Department has lost their cover to aid al Qaeda whilst maintaining plausible deniability.

Rebranding Al Qaeda

NATO media has acknowledged that JAN is the most powerful group fighting the Syrian state besides ISIS. JAN also have widespread support amongst all other insurgents groups in Syria. Given the level at which the US has committed itself to an anti-ISIS narrative, they have little left to paint as a moderate force but JAN. Though, the US has launched strikes against JAN in one instance, earning the ire of all Syrian insurgent groups who protested “We are all JAN”. Suggestions to train a new insurgent group from scratch have been called unrealistic. Hence NATO media has been running a PR campaign for JAN’s new found moderation.

The New York Times suggested that JAN may ‘cut ties with Al Qaeda in the hope of receiving more military aid”. Reuters reported that if the group were to lose its Al Qaeda ties that Gulf states could provide more support openly.

“Sources in the group have said it was considering severing its ties to al Qaeda, a move that could result in more support from Gulf Arab states hostile to both Assad and Islamic State.”

The word of “more” tentatively suggests the New York Times and Reuters acknowledge that Gulf states have already provided some support to Al Qaeda in the past.

BBC analysis written by Dr. David Roberts, suggested that Qatar funding and arming JAN (Al Nusra Front) may be a good thing. In an article titled “Is Qatar bringing the Nusra Front in from the cold?” he writes,

“Secondly, the Nusra Front has pledged to concentrate its efforts on removing the Bashar al-Assad government, as opposed to attacking the “far enemy” (ie Western states). On this point, the Nusra Front is aligned tightly with Qatar, which also is implacably against the government and fundamentally believes that the situation in Syria will only improve if he is removed. This is why Qatar is hoping to bring the Nusra Front in from the cold. If the state can get the group to eschew its al-Qaeda affiliation and adhere to a broadly moderate Islamist platform, Qatar can officially commence, with Western blessing, the supply of one of the most effective fighting forces in Syria.”

The IBtimes downplayed JAN’s ties to Al Qaeda, stating:

“Though JAN is al Qaeda’s only branch in Syria, the group often downplays its role in al Qaeda Central’s long-term plan to establish an Islamic “emirate” in favour of marketing itself as a Syria-centric opposition group focused on the revolution and overthrowing Assad.”

Finally, In an article headlined “Accepting Al Qaeda,” the Council of Foreign Affairs (CFR) advised that the US must keep ‘Al Qaeda afloat to contain ISIS’’. Unlike other articles, the CFR doesn’t bother to suggest that JAN drop their Al Qaeda affiliations, instead suggesting the US should accept them in spite of their Al Qaeda affiliations. This would be the second time the CFR would recommend the US make friends with Al Qaeda. They had previously labeled the Ahrar Al Sham insurgent group “Al Qaeda worth befriending”. The CFR is considered to be US’s “most influential foreign-policy think tank”. In 2009, Hillary Clinton welcomed the fact that the CFR had set up an outpost down the street from the State Department, saying “I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing.”

A Difficult Task

It was always going to be a difficult task to convince the American people to support a group they have been constantly told was responsible for the death of thousands of US soldiers and civilians. They were reminded by their own government every year to “never forget 9/11” and their young men were sent to die to avenge the incident, now they are being asked to forget just that.

But the task of rebranding JAN has been fraught with other difficulties, the main being that Al Nusra is not co-operating with the US-Qatari plan. In an angry statement, JAN denied US media reports that they were breaking ties with Al Qaeda. The AFP wrote that JAN had rejected “any plan to break away [from Al Qaeda ] and become a more internationally acceptable rebel force.”

But the AFP falls short of explaining how dropping a label would make JAN more internationally acceptable and no longer a ‘terrorist’ organisation. When ISIS shed it’s al Qaeda label, it did not stop ethnically cleansing minorities or beheading Syrian soldiers. Al Qaeda is after all just label, it is practically an imaginary organisation with practically the only men on the ground being the insurgents of JAN. Al Qaeda is more of an ideological affiliation, rather than an affiliation to a real organisation

The very fact that the NATO run media suggests changing JAN’s label would make them moderate, illustrates that the only distinction between the Al Qaeda and those groups NATO media calls moderate, is nothing but a label. They have very little ideological differences and commit equally abhorrent war crimes. Further illustrating this is, the fact that the Hazm brigade fighters found it easy to defect to JAN and ISIS and shows that the ‘moderate’ fighters had little trouble embracing Al Qaeda’s ideology.

Another difficulty is while Jabhat Al Nusra was condemned as a terrorist organisation, NATO run media was allowed to report on their war crimes. It is difficult to run a PR campaign for a group that has claimed responsibility for many car bombings which targeted civilians. It was also widely reported that Jabhat Al Nusra kidnapped UN peace keepers and later taunted them with the heads of murdered Syrian soldiers. Just like ISIS, JAN has been busy destroying Syria’s historical sites, though unlike the case with ISIS it was under-reported across NATO run media.

In 2012, it became increasingly obvious the Syrian state was fighting a sectarian and religiously motivated insurgency that was linked to Al Qaeda. It is possible that the US labeled JAN a terrorist organisation, as it needed a scapegoat to pin all rebel warcrimes on and to with which to set apart other insurgent groups. The policy may have backfired when JAN grew to be the main insurgent group fighting the Syrian state. During this time the US no longer needed JAN to act as the scapegoat as ISIS rose to fill in that role.

Indeed it also required for the US to label at least one insurgent group as a terrorists organisation, in order to pursue a long term objective of fighting a perpetual war “on terror”. However, the time frame of the rise of JAN seems to be inconvenient for the United States. Such a narrative shift was likely meant to occur after the successful over throw of the Syrian government. Creating terror to overthrow a government and then going back in to fight it, has been the template which was applied to Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. But unlike in Iraq and Libya, the Syrian government remains firmly in place. As a result the US has been forced to pursue two conflicting policies and narratives at once, fighting terror and funding terror.

Apart from perpetual war, the rise of Al Qaeda linked groups better suits other long term US objectives. Such groups are more fundamentally opposed to Hezbollah, Iran and Russia. They are also more likely to pursue a policy of ethnic cleansing which would more easily lead to balkanisation. Finally the advantage of a mostly Al Qaeda force is that it is cheaper to run, as they are funded mostly by Gulf states who launder money through donations to pro-Al Qaeda Wahabi mosques. The US may find it easier to convince Qatar to foot the entire bill for the insurgency, arguing that they can’t do so whilst maintaining plausible deniability. It is interesting to note that, some Hazm brigade members believe the US set them up to fail by not providing them enough resources. Perhaps Hazm brigade were always left in a state weaker than JAN so that JAN would be able to loot the TOW missile arsenal, but perhaps JAN killed the goose that laid the golden egg.

One of the biggest hurdles in the plan to allow Qatar to openly fund JAN arises from the fact the the UN Security Council has already condemned and sanctioned both JAN and ISIS, unanimously adopting a Russian-drafted resolution. This effectively makes it illegal to fund JAN under international law. But there have already been accusations of US-ally Qatar sponsoring JAN and Qatar has done little to deny them.

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamid II, told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that there are groups that the US considered terrorists in Syria which Qatar does not, avoiding naming JAN outright. UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Washington have gone as far as to admit that individuals in Qatar were also bank rolling ISIS, perhaps as a means of blackmailing their Qatari ally in the future. Qatar was able to openly transfer millions to JAN, under the guise of paying ransom for abducted nuns and UN peacekeepers. BBC analyst Dr David Roberts does not question Qatar’s ties to JAN but, referred to the hostage taking as ‘JAN helping Qatar release hostages’.

Whilst Qatar has provided funding to JAN in the past, openly arming JAN would allow Qatar to transfer a lot more money and perhaps heavier weaponry through the US. But without first removing JAN off the UN sanctions list it would be too difficult for the UN to ignore. Though there have been set backs to the US-Qatar open arming plan, they may continue trying in the coming weeks. Regardless, funding for JAN and the insurgency is not going to dry up any time soon, with or without plausible deniability.

Syria Shoots Down U.S. Drone Over Latakia

Drone-Shot-down
Brandon Turbeville | Activist Post –

On March 17, 2015, the Syrian military apparently shot down a U.S. Predator Drone drove over the Northwestern city of Latakia in Syria.

The United States has confirmed that it lost contact with a drone but has stated that it was unclear whether or not the drone had been shot down.

Syrian state media has described the drone as “hostile” but has not given any further details.

Sana news agency stated, “Syrian Air Defense systems shot down a U.S. UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) north of Latakia Province.”

The Pentagon has stated that it is “looking into” the incident.

It is important to note that, while some drones are used for reconnaissance, Predator drones are outfitted for both surveillance and warfare. This calls into question whether or not the drone (already a violation of Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity) was preparing to launch such an airstrike against the Syrian government or whether it may have been a provocation to coax the Syrian military into shooting it down.

After all, the United States has been looking for any justification it can get its hands on in the last few months in order to take direct military action against Syria.

The downing of the drone will mark the first time Syrian and United States militaries proper have clashed.

Such an incident was bound to happen, however, as the United States afforded itself the right to bomb targets inside Syria a year ago.

In February, the United States announced that it was going to allow phantom “moderate rebels” (aka ISIS, al-Qaeada, al-Nusra, etc.) to call in airstrikes against their opponents, making the U.S. officially al-Qaeda’s Air Force.

The shootdown of the drone comes as the United States and its proxy forces are accusing the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in Idlib province.

No credible evidence has been provided proving that the Syrian government has used those weapons, leading many informed observers to suspect that the US is once again engaged in a propaganda campaign against the secular government of Bashar al-Assad.

All previous claims of the use of chemical weapons, while blamed on Assad by NATO and the U.S., were later determined to have been deployed by the jihadist rebels funded by the West.

Mainstream Media Discovers What Created ISIS – Global Warming!

polar-bear-paw

By: Brandon Turbeville | Activist Post

After five years of intense fighting and destabilization raging across Syria, Western mainstream press has finally discovered the true cause of the so-called “civil war.” It turns out that all of the analysts in the alternative media suggesting that the situation in Syria was the result of a NATO destabilization campaign and foreign-backed invasion of terrorists in the form of al-Nusra, al-Qaeda, and ISIS were wrong. In fact, even those mainstream analysts who have suggested that the foreign invasion was actually a legitimate rebellion were apparently mistaken.

Thankfully, the mainstream press has discovered the true cause of the Syrian crisis – global warming.

global warming terrorists
No, this is not a joke. Mainstream outlets are actually suggesting that climate change is responsible, albeit indirectly, for the creation of ISIS and the scores of Western-backed terrorists flooding Syria as well as the now international military involvement in the war.

This is merely the latest silly narrative being promoted by the likes of Slate, Wired, The Telegraph, NBC, and The Guardian among many others.

Slate, by no means, is the sole purveyor of such abjectly stupid claims nor are the other media outlets listed above. Still, one need only read the Slate article to see how the “climate change is the real reason for the Syrian war” claim is being presented. Slate writes,

By now, it’s pretty clear that we’re starting to see visible manifestations of climate change beyond far-off melting ice sheets. One of the most terrifying implications is the increasingly real threat of wars sparked in part by global warming. New evidence says that Syria may be one of the first such conflicts.

We know the basic story in Syria by now: From 2006-2010, an unprecedented drought forced the country from a groundwater-intensive breadbasket of the region to a net food importer. Farmers abandoned their homes—school enrollment in some areas plummeted 80 percent—and flooded Syria’s cities, which were already struggling to sustain an influx of more than 1 million refugees from the conflict in neighboring Iraq. The Syrian government largely ignored these warning signs, helping sow discontent that ultimately spawned violent protests. The link from drought to war was prominently featured in a Showtime documentary last year. A preventable drought-triggered humanitarian crisis sparked the 2011 civil war, and eventually, ISIS.

A new study published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academies of Science provides the clearest evidence yet that human-induced global warming made that drought more likely. The study is the first to examine the drought-to-war narrative in quantitative detail in any country, ultimately linking it to climate change.

At this point, given the detailed nature of “climate science,” I will spare the reader a summation of the thoroughly debunked theory of Anthropogenic Man-Made Global Warming, at least as it relates to the non-existent and entirely invented theory of CO2 as a poisonous and planet killing gas. I will spare the reader historical data that proves the earth was much hotter in the past, thus indicating that we are well within the norm of climate ups and downs. I will also spare the reader the details regarding the fact that global warming has not taken place in the last eighteen years despite the rigging of science equipment and faulty computer models to prove the opposite, thus calling into question whether the planet is actually still warming at all.

Unfortunately, Slate and its peers spared the readers the same information, leading hordes of hapless trendies to believe that CO2-Global Warming is actually a real issue and that it somehow is the guiding force behind terrorist cells, beheadings, and jihad. Leaving behind any and all knowledge of history of any form is generally important in order to be able to follow the logic provided by the recent mainstream press narrative about the Syrian war.

For instance, while US and UK media outlets attempt to suggest that global warming is responsible for the lagging Syrian agricultural sector and the fate of Syrian farmers, it conveniently fails to mention the US sanctions on Syria that helped plunge its economy into despair. While environmental factors undoubtedly play a role it is true that environmental factors always play a role in farming and agriculture in any country of the world at any time period. The false threat of CO2 does not change this fact.

Compounding the normal concerns and economic hardships of farmers with international sanctions, however, is not the result of too much CO2, it is the result of a concerted effort to destroy a sovereign and secular government for the purposes world hegemony.

Of course, these media outlets make no mention of the sanctions or the worldwide economic depression and place the blame firmly on the shoulders of Assad who allegedly “largely ignored these warning signs.”

Thus, Slate writes that “A preventable drought-triggered humanitarian crisis sparked the 2011 civil war, and eventually, ISIS.”

FALSE.

Global warming did not create ISIS. A drought did not create ISIS. The United States and NATO created ISIS.

As I have documented in my article, “The Roots of ISIS,” ISIS is nothing more than a name change in a long line of many name changes for the same terrorist organization (al Nusra, al-Qaeda, IEIL, FSA, etc.) that the US openly funded since as far back as the late 1970s and has continued to fund, direct, control, and use across the world ever since.

The suggestion that a drought, global warming, or any other weather event created ISIS and its cannibal army is atrociously stupid and an unfortunate example of the intellectual depths to which we have sunk as a nation. The fact that such a claim can be written with a straight face by numerous major media publications is more of a sad comment on the state of the American public than it is on the state of the corporate media. After all, corporate media has always been garbage but, in the past, it was somewhat necessary to maintain a professional and respectable air so as to maintain some level of credibility.

Unfortunately, the reality is that the result of these articles and the frivolous study it cites will be that, in discussion of the Syrian crisis with trendies, hipsters, and academics, one will now undoubtedly be forced to endure having to debunk global warming along with the assertion that global warming created ISIS. Well done mainstream media. Well done.

Of course, if the study cited by Slate and other mainstream media outlets are correct in their claim that global warming produces terrorist outfits like ISIS and al-Nusra, then we have much more to worry about than the Syrian crisis. Surely we will soon be overcome by polar bear suicide bombings and penguins shouting “Allahu Akbar!!”

Still, Slate continues,

The study’s authors are clear that global warming did not directly cause Syria’s civil war—it took a mix of underlying social vulnerability and an antagonistic government to do that. But it does provide compelling evidence that, when combined with the effects of increased population pressure and the poor policies of the Assad regime, the drought made a bad situation worse.

To be fair, it is clear that the lack of availability of food, poor economic conditions and societal tensions can contribute and even cause mass social upheaval. This much is a fact.

However, to go to the lengths to which the mainstream press has gone, i.e. suggesting that global warming was the root cause of the Syrian crisis is absurd.

Its attempts to blame Syria and Syrians in general in regards to “the effects of increased population pressure” are nevertheless typical of Anglo-American population control and reduction initiatives as well as propaganda pieces that have been flooding Western culture in earnest since the early 1970s. Slate and its compatriots are therefore good Malthusians as much as they are good eugenicists because, apparently, the food issue never would have gotten out of hand if there been less Syrians to begin with. Fortunately for the mainstream press, its CIA advisers, and corporate owners, the problem of “too many Syrians” has been thoroughly dealt with.

But the question of the responsibility for the crisis lying with “an antagonistic government” is a bit more difficult to decipher. Antagonistic government? What does Slate mean? Is it referring to the Syrian government who has done nothing but protect minorities and its citizens from the likes of ISIS and the FSA and who was criticized by the majority of the Syrian people early on for not doing enough to destroy the so-called rebels?

Or is it referring to the United States who organized, directed, funded, trained, and facilitated the death squads for the last 5 years and even long before that?

Perhaps it is referring to Turkey, who has also funded, armed, and facilitated terrorists across its borders so that they can unleash hell on earth upon Syria?

Is Saudi Arabia a candidate for the title of “antagonistic government?” After all, the Saudis have been at the forefront of arming the jihadist fanatics dragging their knuckles across Syria today.

Or perhaps Slate meant Israel – the country that has bombed Syria numerous times in support of ISIS and has acted as a veritable Red Cross for injured jihadists?

No, clearly, Slate reserves its understanding of “antagonism” for the targets of NATO and US imperialism. In the eyes of the Western Press, Syria is antagonistic simply for having the audacity to exist outside the dictates of the Anglo-American purview.

While it is true that the world is facing an alarming environmental catastrophe, it is also true that the world faces an equally alarming economic crisis. Likewise, it is facing the possibility of total world war fought between nuclear powers.

But these impending catastrophes are not the result of CO2. They are the result of an insane world oligarchy.

Articles like those suggesting that Global Warming was the genesis of ISIS are nothing but propaganda pieces designed to draw the reader and the American public so far off track they begin to regurgitate utter nonsense where critical thinking once reigned supreme.

Obama-Netanyahu ”Fallout” Is Theater – Planned In 2009

obama netanyahu 2
By: Tony Cartalucci | Land Destroyer Report –

In a 2009 US policy paper published by the corporate-financier funded Brookings Institution, it was made clear that the US was determined to provoke Iran into a conflict and effect regime change at any cost – up to and including an outright military invasion and occupation of Iran with US troops.

However, before it came to that, the Brookings Institution’s policymakers explored other options including fomenting US-backed political unrest coupled with covert, violent force, the use of US State Department listed foreign terrorist organizations to carry out assassinations and attacks within Iran, and limited airstrikes carried out by either the US or Israel, or both.

In retrospect, 6 years on, all of these tricks have not only been attempted to one degree or another in Iran, but have been demonstrably employed in neighboring Syria to diminish its strength – which according to Brookings – is a necessary prerequisite before waging war on Iran.

And of particular interest – considering what appears to be a growing diplomatic row between the United States and Israel – is just how precisely the US planned to covertly back what would be made to appear as a “unilateral” Israeli first strike on Iran – an attack that appears to be in the process of being justified through a carefully orchestrated propaganda campaign now unfolding.

From the Mouths of US Policymakers Themselves

The Brookings Institution’s 2009 policy paper titled, “Which Path to Persia? Options for a New American Strategy Toward Iran,” makes clear that negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program is merely theater, and that it will be used to give the world the impression that the United States explored all possible “peaceful” options before resorting to violent regime change.  The report states specifically that:

…any military operation against Iran will likely be very unpopular around the world and require the proper international context— both to ensure the logistical support the operation would require and to minimize the blowback from it. The best way to minimize international opprobrium and maximize support (however, grudging or covert) is to strike only when there is a widespread conviction that the Iranians were given but then rejected a superb offer—one so good that only a regime determined to acquire nuclear weapons and acquire them for the wrong reasons would turn it down. Under those circumstances, the United States (or Israel) could portray its operations as taken in sorrow, not anger, and at least some in the international community would conclude that the Iranians “brought it on themselves” by refusing a very good deal.

Of course, Iran – as admitted to by Brookings themselves – is not governed by irrational leadership, and would not turn down a genuinely “superb offer.” The Brookings Institution admits openly that the US pursues a dual track foreign policy – one for public consumption (making “superb offers”) and another aimed at ensuring Iran looks as unreasonable as possible.

At one point in the policy paper, Brookings would state:

The truth is that these all would be challenging cases to make. For that reason, it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be. Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of the world recognizing this game, which would then undermine it. (One method that would have some possibility of success would be to ratchet up covert regime change efforts in the hope that Tehran would retaliate overtly, or even semi-overtly, which could then be portrayed as an unprovoked act of Iranian aggression.)

Brookings Which Path to Persia 2010 Cover
Here, Brookings policymakers openly conspire to undermine global peace by “goading” another nation into a war it neither wants nor will benefit from. Provoking a nation that poses no threat to the national security of the United States is a clear violation of international law – with the Brookings paper serving as a literal signed confession.

Yet despite this open admission, conspiring against world peace, what is of more interest is the United States’ plans to disavow any responsibility for an attack it would use its regional proxy, Israel, to carry out in its place. It states specifically under a chapter titled, “Allowing or Encouraging an Israeli Military Strike,” that:

…the most salient advantage this option has over that of an American air campaign is the possibility that Israel alone would be blamed for the attack. If this proves true, then the United States might not have to deal with Iranian retaliation or the diplomatic backlash that would accompany an American military operation against Iran. It could allow Washington to have its cake (delay Iran’s acquisition of a nuclear weapon) and eat it, too (avoid undermining many other U.S. regional diplomatic initiatives).

To no one’s surprise the British Daily Mail now reports in an article titled, “President Obama threatened to shoot down Israeli jets if they attacked Iranian nuclear facilities last year, claim sources,” that:

President Obama is alleged to have stopped an Israeli military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets, according to reports to emerge from the Middle East at the weekend

The threat from the U.S. forced Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to abort a planned attack on Iraq, reported Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida.

Netanyahu will be in Washington for an address to Congress on Tuesday aimed squarely at derailing Obama’s cherished bid for a diplomatic deal with Tehran.

Here, the Daily Mail repeats a growing narrative that dovetails neatly into long-standing US foreign policy described by the Brookings Institution’s report in 2009 – down to the letter. In fact, the prospect of “shooting down” Israeli planes was discussed as one of many props used in this geopolitical theater.

The US, as prescribed by Brookings, is portrayed as desperately trying to hammer out an almost unreasonably accommodation with Iran, while “mad dog” Israel seeks to unilaterally attack Iran – thus giving the US the plausible deniability it openly claimed it would disingenuously attempt to create ahead of any Israeli attack on Iran. It should be noted that the summation of Israel’s military might is a result long, extensive, and continuous US military support meaning that Israeli military operation is even possible without it.

obama netanyahu
Also of interest is Israel’s habitual, belligerent, serial acts of inhumanity against both its own people and the Palestinians whose land Tel Aviv has seized and continues to occupy. The nature of these acts is not one of self-preservation, but of intentional provocation – creating predictable political divides across the West easily manipulated particularly at times like these where a “regrettable” attack made upon Iran, a nation the West has thus far failed to topple with terrorism, US-backed sedition, sanctions, and covert provocations, is now in the cards.

It is also clear that the 2009 “Which Path to Persia?” policy paper still represents a vivid window into a much deeper and well-entrenched doctrine still to this day being used to reorder the Middle East into alignment with Western special interests.  It is a signed confession of a now evident conspiracy against global peace and stability. It should be read, in full, before the United Nations Security Council  before those who wrote it and the corporate-financier interests who sponsored it are brought to international justice.

Anything less proves that the United States and its regional proxies, not Iran, are the rogue states, working against global peace and stability, with many standing examples already of their atrocities on display, and more – apparently – still to come.

Exposing The ISIS Show- Last Chance For Humanity?

ISIS-CIA-cooperation

This may sound crazy but with the new world order so close to coming to full fruition and all human activity suppressed forever, will we look back in the future and see the current globalist staged ISIS show as the last chance humanity had to free itself from permanent slavery and endless illegal murderous war? I believe there is a reasonable argument for why this could be the case.

In the past week, as we reach the home stretch of the global ISIS psyop show, we see the U.S. government, their ISIS partners, all the NATO pro-ISIS supporters, their politicians, and the mouthpiece western corporate media all ramping up the ISIS stories to unthinkable levels in order to garnish American support (particularly Christian Conservative support) for more (unlimited) war in the Middle East, all in the name of stopping ISIS.

The show is so relentless that most people, even those who are awake probably didn’t see full effect of this psyop coming just a few months ago when ISIS was staging singular beheading videos with bad Photoshop and sloppy shadows. The effort by CIA’s media to push the ISIS show is so intense that if we pay attention we can carefully observe who’s in on it and who’s trying to expose it by reading their stories and headlines.

Rule number one for understanding whose supporting the ISIS psyop: Notice who’s covering ISIS in any context other than pointing out the whole operation is a CIA/Mossad/NATO psyop. Anyone not focusing on this frightening and disturbing reality is part of the psyop. How can we say this? Because there is plenty of information, admissions, documents and accounts all confirming the U.S.’s (and it’s pro-ISIS allies) involvement in the training, arming, and material support of ISIS.

All things being equal, how are stories like the one showing the U.S. air-dropping supplies FOR ISIS in Iraq, or NATO’s Turkey allowing the shipment of ISIS supplies in trucks rolling through their borders not considered the stories of the century?? The idea that the U.S. is supplying and supporting ISIS should shock everyone beyond belief. These huge stories should be shaking the foundation of human consciousness (and to some extent it is within the truth movement and alternative media) yet sadly however, within CIA’s mainstream media and its millions of brainwashed victims these shocking developments are not even being acknowledged as reality. Imagine that!

Furthermore, we have entire countries and state officials calling out the globalist in their support of ISIS which is a form of international war crime against humanity. Consider that when the post WW2 Nuremberg trials took place there was no distinction between those who gave the orders or those who carried out the orders. Why would we think that with regard to ISIS things would be any different? Other nations of the world and officials are all acknowledging that the blood of ISIS crimes (if any of these murders are actually real) is equally on the hands of those who are supporting (creating, arming and funding) ISIS. That’s right, what most people are not thinking about is that with every story CIA’s mainstream media puts out glorifying how scary ISIS is, they may just be indicting themselves for future crimes against humanity. Talk about poetic justice!

Our last chance in this ISIS crisis is to see to it that this justice takes place. We (humanity) need to create or appoint an international tribunal court composed by all nations with evidence against the ISIS supporters to examine the alleged and already proven evidence of the U.S. and its allies’ (like Turkey, Israel, Britain etc) direct support of ISIS and promoting of the ISIS brand.

The longer it takes humanity to put this awareness and justice effort together, the more likely an argument can be made for why this entire ISIS show could in fact be the last stand for humanity and freedom. Humanity can no longer afford to allow the globalist gangsters to get away with major false flags and massive psychological operations of the masses to justify endless war and move their new world order and PNAC plans forward.

More than ever we need to keep sharing the awareness of the ISIS psyop show, remind others that CIA’s mainstream media is promoting CIA’s/Mossad’s ISIS and that this is all part of their ‘conquer the Middle East’ new world order/PNAC plans. If they want to say this is not the case let them prove their innocence in a court or tribunal.

I want to urge all readers, researchers and truth seekers to treat this ISIS psyop as a crime against humanity not just another piece of truth history linking the U.S. back to another false flag. The ISIS show unlike other conspiracies is happening slowly and in real-time. We as a humanity still have a chance to tackle this beast and find a way to use the crisis to deflate the new world order plans.

Step back and see the patterns they use. If the globalist don’t get their ISIS-show-enabling free unlimited war on humanity they will threaten us and pull off massive terror against us. We are in a lose-lose situation if we don’t fight back on this one so we might as well all jump into this fight and push for the truth to come into the light.

Time has run out for holding back. Now is the time to share with others the importance of not believing the ISIS psyop. Don’t let them fool you again. We know how these psychopaths think. They think they can manipulate the Christians by parading more and more Christians to be murdered in the ISIS show but Christians all over the world should be looking up to their God, not to the mainstream media for guidance. Read your own scriptures and see what your bible says about killing people. Nowhere in the Bible does the scripture give a green light for murdering those that you THINK may be murdering you. Quite the opposite. The Christian Bible speaks about death as being a good thing, a transition from the flesh to the spirit.

With the recent push to garnish Christian support by showing mainstream media believing Christians how many Christians ISIS is supposedly murdering, now is the time to look for repeated patterns in their old worn out script. See how nicely the globalist repeated war script has been used. Realize that this is what they always do to justify war. Realize they are lying to you which means you, whether you are Christian or not, have the power to reject government lies once and for all. You have the power to turn off Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly and the rest of the prestitute mainstream corporate media and finally think on your own.

We must all do this now! Think on your own and apply PRINCIPLES to your life instead of basing decisions on fear and political mouthpieces. Instead of listening to CNN or MSN, ask yourself- what do I think of more war? Ask yourself- could this be staged to justify unlimited war? Then ask yourself- how did the last three or four or five wars work out? Fourteen years after 9/11, did we ever actually succeed in stopping terrorism? Spreading democracy and freedom?? What good has the U.S. done for the world that justifies the millions of lives that have been murdered since 9/11? Are you a Christian? Then ask yourself- what would Jesus do?

Madelyn Albright thinks it was “worth it” to kill a half a million babies in Iraq, how about you? Is a world of war, murder, poisoning, raping, torture, and endless suffering worth it? Is it worth it to believe government and their mouthpiece media when they tell you that group such-and-such is the boogie monster terrorist that needs to be destroyed, only to watch more of the mercenary-like free-for-all torture, murder and war crimes scenario we’ve seen since 9/11 go unchecked in the name of the ‘war on terror’? Does it not bother you that there is convincing evidence that this terrorism is funded and staged by the U.S. and its allies themselves who have the most to gain in the long run?

The psychosis, the psyops, the lies, the deceit, and the openly and fully exposed ‘destruction of the Middle East’ must stop now. Those who have been involved with the creation, funding and arming of ISIS must be charged now with International war crimes against humanity. Tribunals must begin now, ISIS unmasked, corporate and political partners exposed. The world deserves to know who’s cutting out the checks for ISIS members, exactly who’s in charge of the supply lines going through Turkey and who arranged the takeover of Mosul in Iraq admitted by Nouri al-Maliki, Iraq’s own president. In a statement regarding the Mosul ISIS handover al-Maliki admitted:

“The Iraqi army did not fight or clash with the ISIS gangs in Mosul,”

He pointed out that:

“a prior agreement placed in a joint operations room between some political parties to overthrow the city”

He also admitted that:

“A section of the military units and commanders in Mosul withdrew before the night of ISIS attack on the city under a planned agreement, while others withdrew during the attack.”

If the alternative media, independent researchers, independent investigative journalists and humanity as a whole drops the ball on the global ISIS show and allows the criminal globalist cowards to cash in on the ISIS psyop show with more war we may all live to regret that day. The warning is now. Don’t let this happen if you can. Do whatever you can to stop the evil empire from expanding its power for war based on lies and deceit.

Great moments in history are preceded by humanity’s awareness of these moments. The awareness, knowledge and understanding of the moment is needed before action is taken. You cannot be a hero unless you truly understand the situation you are in. The fact of the matter is the global U.S. empire (I.E. the new world order globalist terrorists) is prepared to criminalize the act of exposing their ISIS show. Let’s make our move to approach these thugs with handcuffs in hand and be prepared to make the arrest if not literally then figuratively with our aggressive approach. Let’s also try to see that taking no action in this late hour could potentially translate into the final mistake humanity makes in its fight for global peace and respect for human dignity and sovereignty. Don’t let this be the final mistake in our fight for freedom, America and humanity as a whole.

The Origin Of ISIS (VIDEO)

isis
By: Ben Swann | Benswann.com

In the latest episode of Truth in Media, Ben Swann investigates the origins of the militant group referred to as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

The name ISIS is one that every American knows,” Swann said “The biggest threat to our national security since Al-Qaeda, right? They are a brutal, savage group known for public beheadings and mass executions. They are the face of the new war on terror.”

Swann pointed out that while the U.S. Military is currently conducting airstrikes in Syria, in a supposed attempt to take out ISIS targets, the White House and U.S. military leaders are discussing possible boots on the ground in Iraq. These talks are arising just three years after President Obama declared that the war in Iraq was over.

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told USA Today that in order to defeat ISIS, he believes the United States is looking at “a 30-year-war.”

As the U.S. goes to war in an attempt to defeat yet another terrorist group, the biggest question is: Who exactly is ISIS and where did they come from?

Angela Keaton, the founder of Antiwar.com, said that ISIS is “entirely a creation of the United States’ behavior in Iraq.”

That’s how we got to where we are, because of war, because of occupation, because of torture,” Keaton said. “The United States government completely destabilized and wrecked Iraq. They caused it to fail miserably and that is entirely the fault of the United States government. There is no one else to blame.”

Swann explained that when the U.S. first invaded Iraq, it “blew the country apart.” By destroying the existing government, toppling Saddam Hussein, and destroying the infrastructure, the U.S. “left behind a power vacuum” that would never have existed under Hussein.

Daniel McAdams, the executive director of the Ron Paul Institute, said that the impact caused by the actions of the United States is a “historical fact that media just won’t discuss.”

This has to do with U.S. action in the region, which destroyed the infrastructure, which destroyed Iraq society, which destroyed the Iraqi government,” McAdams said. He explained that while there were a lot of people who weren’t “as happy as larks” while living under Saddam Hussein, they also weren’t at odds with Hussein in the same way they were with the government established by the U.S.

The militant group ISIS was formed as a small insurgent group in Iraq in 2006. Swann noted that while they tried to create problems for the U.S. military, they had no money and no real ability to recruit.

It wasn’t until 2009 that ISIS shifted its focus from Iraq, where it was largely unsuccessful in developing a foothold, and focused on the civil war in Syria,” Swann said.

While in Syria, ISIS still struggled to gain a foothold. Swann attributed this to the fact that two larger groups fighting against President Bashar al-Assad were overpowering them: al-Nusra Front – or al-Qaeda – and the Free Syrian Army.

Then, came a pivotal moment that most Americans aren’t even aware of,” Swann said. “In June 2013, a Northern General for the Free Syrian Army spoke out on Al Jazeera Qatar and stated that if international forces did not send weapons, the rebels attempting to overthrow Syrian president Bashar al-Assad would lose their war within a month.”

Swann noted that just months before this occurred he had personally confronted President Obama on the issue of why the U.S. was covertly funding Syrian rebels. Although Obama acted as if he was proceeding with caution, politicians such as Senator John McCain demanded action.

Within a matter of weeks of the Syrian general making his plea for international help, the U.S., the Saudis, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey and Israel began providing weapons, training and money to so-called rebel groups like the Free Syrian Army,” Swann said.

In September 2013, American media outlets began reporting that weapons were being given to Syrian rebels. CNN reported that while the weapons are not “American-made,” they were “funded and organized by the CIA.”

However, Swann said that things began to fall apart when less than one year after the U.S. supplied Syrian “freedom fighters” with weapons, those weapons ended up in the hands of ISIS fighters.

Those ISIS fighters came from the group McCain insisted would help the U.S. overthrow Assad: the Free Syrian Army. Swann explained that the army was not only sending the Islamic State weapons, it was also sending them fighters.

The Free Syrian Army has lost most of the land that it ever claimed and it’s entirely incompetent,” Keaton said. “The only thing that it has been good at is currying favor with western leaders.”

Swann said that it wasn’t until June 2014 that ISIS went from being a “no-name group in Syria” to a group that was “heavily armed and trained by U.S. and Coalition Special Forces.” This revitalized group made a dramatic entrance by crossing back over the Syrian border into Iraq and capturing Mosul and much of the northern part of the country.

One of the most important facts that mainstream media ignores time and time again is that ISIS was able to grow so fast, because of all the U.S. military equipment they were able to seize – equipment that our military left in Iraq,” said Swann. “Truckloads of Humvees, tanks and weaponry that instead of taking or destroying, the U.S. government simply decided to leave behind.

However, even when the U.S. government became aware that ISIS fighters were capturing U.S. equipment, it did nothing. Swann attributed the lack of action to the fact that ISIS fighters were taking the equipment back into Syria to continue fighting Assad, which was what the U.S. government wanted.

How is it that the United States, with all of its intelligence capabilities, didn’t know this threat was coming?” McAdams said. “How many billions did we spend, maybe a hundred billion on total intelligence community budge over the year? How did they have no idea?”

Swann said that the answer is simple: “The U.S. did know who ISIS was, but the so-called Islamic State was doing what the Obama administration wanted.”

The ISIS fighters continued to do what the Obama administration wanted, and in late summer 2014, they were labeled what Swann called, “the new boogeyman in the war on terror.”

Over the past few months, the U.S. government, who acted like they had never even heard of ISIS, suddenly, with the help of media has turned the Islamic State into the new focus of the war on terror,” Swann said. “Now, as ISIS has continued its rise, recruitment is exploding and the group is becoming stunningly wealthy.”

Swann noted that in response to the “ISIS threat,” the U.S. began “conducting airstrikes on Syrian oil fields, instead of going after those buying the oil.”

McAdams pointed out that ISIS makes $2 million a day off of selling oil, and the United States’ response, of “undercutting the competition” by blowing up oil fields makes no sense. He questioned why the U.S., which is known for sanctioning “anything that moves,” when it’s angry, is not placing sanctions on the banks or the oil companies that are involved.

Swann added that in addition to those questions, Americans should also be asking, “Why is the U.S. sending $500 million to the Free Syrian Army to fight ISIS when the FSA is one of the biggest suppliers of fighters and weapons to ISIS?” and “Why are we sending new and more powerful weapons to the FSA like anti-aircraft missiles – weapons that we know will be in the hands of ISIS?

Swann maintained that while the mainstream media will say that ISIS is the “creation of American inaction,” the reality is that they are the “product of direct action.”

This direct action started with “the action of creating a power vacuum in Iraq” and manifested into the “arming violent Jihadists, hoping they would overthrow a leader in a neighboring Middle Eastern country.”

McAdams described the U.S. government as a victim of its own insane policies, due to the fact that it is “very good at blowing things up, but really bad at putting them back together.”

In determining whether or not McAdams’ statement was true, Swann listed three facts:

Fact #1: “Our government armed Osama bin Laden and the Mujahideen in Afghanistan and created al-Qaeda.”

Fact #2: “Our government put Saddam Hussein into power – we helped supply and create chemical weapons for him to use against Iran in 1980 – and then we overthrew him in 2003.”

Fact #3: “Our government trained rebel fighters in Syria who would become the group today known as ISIS. We have watched them commit every violent atrocity you can imagine to people living in Iraq and Syria, and now we want American taxpayers to fund a 30-year war with them.”

Swann came to the conclusion that it isn’t the U.S. government being held hostage by crazy policies; rather it is the American people.

It is time that we reject the destruction of people groups around the world for the sake of foreign policy that makes so-called defense contractors rich, and perpetuates violence, death, and the destruction of entire people groups,” Swann said. “This is the central issue of our time – because humanity is greater than politics.”
