US Illegally Building Airbase In Northern Syria

Last month, Fars News reported Washington was illegally rebuilding and equipping a Hasakah province airbase in northern Syria, an area controlled by Kurdish People’s Defense Unit (YPG) fighters. The facility hasn’t been used since 2010.

US warplanes already lawlessly bomb infrastructure and government targets on the pretext of combating ISIS.

Russia uses Syria’s Latakia airfield legally, responding to Assad’s request for help against terrorists, causing havoc in ISIS and other takfiri ranks, supporting Syrian ground forces retake lost territory.

Does Washington intend using the reconstructed facility for more intensive aerial war on Syria? It’s 2.5 km runway can be used to launch attacks and deliver military supplies.

Obama has no Security Council authorization or permission from Damascus for its Syrian operations – naked aggression by any standard, raping the country since March 2011, massacring its people, displacing half its population internally or externally.

Reportedly US drones and helicopters already operate from the new facility. Warplanes are expected to follow, along with a location for airlifting in announced US combat troop deployments.

US warplanes are attacking its territory from Turkey’s Incirlik airbase, Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti facility, bases in Qatar and elsewhere regionally. The new facility may eliminate the need for more distant ones.

Western media are silent on what’s ongoing – throughout nearly five years of conflict proliferating Big Lies, supporting US-led naked aggression, irresponsibly blaming Assad for Obama’s high crimes, using ISIS and other takfiri terrorists as US proxy foot soldiers, committing slow-motion genocide against an entire population, on the pretext of opposing the scourge it actively aids.

Washington’s new base may facilitate greater carnage. Endless war without mercy on Syria rages – unaccountable high crimes against peace.

Syrian Peace Talks To Start January 29

On Monday, Arab League/UN envoy to Syria Steffan de Mistura announced the date without indicating who’ll participate.

From what’s known, US/Saudi-backed terrorist groups will be involved, including Jaish al-Islam (Army of Islam).

It operates like ISIS, equally ruthless, responsible for the August 2013 Ghouta, Syria chemical weapons attack, killing scores, injuring numerous others, Assad wrongfully blamed for its high crime.

What other US/Saudi-backed terrorist groups will participate remains for de Mistura to name them, begging the question.

How can peace talks be legitimate when one side is committed to Syria’s destruction, its popularly elected government replaced by one decided by outside forces – Syrians having no say over who’ll lead them?

How can they succeed when Obama and rogue allies want endless war until achieving regime change – using ISIS and other terrorist groups as imperial foot soldiers?

Geneva I and II talks failed. Expect this round to fare no better, de Mistura admitting things will be “uphill” at best, mission impossible most likely.

Proximity talks are planned, shuttle diplomacy, mediated by Western-controlled UN negotiators, not both sides meeting face-to-face – a process to last at least six months, maybe much less if intractable deadlock occurs.

Initial talks for several weeks will focus on increasing humanitarian aid, combating ISIS, and negotiating a ceasefire with selected opposition terrorist groups – committed to continue fighting.

Anti-Assad moderate combatants don’t exist. Perpetuating the myth otherwise persists. De Mistura claiming “suspensions of fighting” can be negotiated with US/Saudi-backed terrorists is pure fantasy.

Nearly five years of Obama’s terror war with no foreseeable end speaks for itself. Syrian UN envoy Bashar al-Jaafari will head his government’s delegation.

A so-called High Negotiations Committee opposition coalition named serial killer Mohammed Alloush to head its side, a key Army of Islam terrorist, drawing sharp criticism, perhaps rendering peace talks dead-on-arrival.

Who can negotiate with someone holding a knife to his throat, guilty of gruesome atrocities, showing no signs of ending them, enjoying full US/Saudi support?

It bears repeating what earlier articles stressed. Chances for restoring peace and stability to war-ravaged Syria any time soon are virtually nil.

US War On ISIS: A Complete Hoax

US post-9/11 war on terror reflects willful state-sponsored deception – media scoundrels complicit in conning the public to believe Washington opposes what it actively supports.

ISIS, Al Qaeda, Jabhat al-Nusra and various splinter groups are US creations, used as imperial foot soldiers, flourishing because Washington and rogue partners arm, fund, train and direct them.

Obama’s vow to “degrade and destroy” ISIS is one of his many Big Lies – saying one thing while supporting a universal scourge.

Last Thursday, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter announced scores newly deployed US commandos in Iraq – ahead of hundreds (perhaps thousands) of combat troops to follow.

In September 2014, Obama said US troops “do not and will not have a combat mission” in Iraq against ISIS.

“I will not (order) our armed forces to fighting another ground war in Iraq.” John Kerry repeated the same Big Lie.

Carter’s public announcement along with a Defense Department press release revealed it. Months of planning precede military operations.

Washington already has thousands of special forces in Iraq along with unknown numbers in Syria. Escalated military operations are now planned – naked aggression by any standard.

The Pentagon press release cited Carter saying defeating ISIS “must be a global effort and coalition partners and others must step up their contributions to the escalating fight.”

“America will continue to lead the fight. (G)reater military contributions (from) coalition partner(s)” are needed.

Next week, he intends meeting with British, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Australian defense ministers – discussing their involvement in Washington’s imperial campaign.

Make no mistake. The Pentagon intends aiding, not combating, ISIS on the phony pretext of plans to retake Mosul, Iraq and Raqqa, Syria, ISIS strongholds – saying it’ll aid nonexistent anti-Assad “moderate” forces and Iraqi Kurds, facing Erdogan’s war without mercy, getting no Western help in their liberating struggle.

Carter claiming Washington intends defeating ISIS is pure rubbish. Saying “extraordinary challenges (lie) ahead” is code language for endless war.

US Iraqi and Syrian bombing since 2014 struck no ISIS targets, infrastructure and government ones only.

Carter’s announcement may be the Pentagon’s attempt to counter Russia’s effective war on ISIS in Syria, aiming to prevent Iraq from requesting its vitally needed help.

Carter’s scheme is designed to help ISIS, not combat its scourge.

Syrians Besieged By Terrorists Risk Death

ISIS and other terrorist groups are killing Syrians they hold captive by appalling atrocities,  exposure to freezing temperatures, denial of vital medical treatment, and starvation.

Syrian armed forces so far haven’t freed trapped Fuaa and Kafrya residents in Idlib province mountainous areas. They may freeze to death from exposure or perish from denial of essential to life services.

Syrians in Aleppo province Nubl and Al-Zahra areas are threatened the same way. Unknown numbers are dying out of sight and mind, their situation ignored by media scoundrels – suffering at the hands of US-supported ISIS and other terrorist groups, holding them captive under siege and endless war.

Anyone attempting to leave risks being lethally shot by snipers. Many hundreds of desperate men, women and children were killed or wounded, medical care mostly unavailable.

Earlier Syrian attempts to deliver humanitarian aid were blocked or stolen. Nubl and Al-Zahra have been under siege for years.

Fake Western, Saudi and Qatari media images alleging Madaya starvation substitute for explaining the plight of Syrians besieged by ISIS and other terrorist groups.

On Monday, humanitarian aid reached Madaya residents – 44 trucks delivering food, medicines, blankets and other supplies, despite ISIS terrorists controlling most of the area.

They routinely steal humanitarian aid, using it for themselves along with selling it at unaffordable prices – around $250 for a kilogram of rice.

Residents complained of confiscated government aid – current supplies at risk.

On Monday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported 65 trucks of humanitarian aid reaching Madaya, Kafrya and Fuaa – a cooperative Syrian government, Syrian Red Crescent, ICRC and UN initiative.

Whether supplies reach desperate people in need remains to be seen, given terrorists’ attempts to steal them.

Separately, Russia reports its aerial campaign struck 1,100 terrorist targets since January 1 alone – permitting Syrian armed forces to continue retaking territory lost earlier, inflicting heavy casualties and loss of equipment on ISIS and other takfiris.

Two key terrorist field commanders were killed in combat – Bashar Mohamed Al-Qatur and Mohamed Ismael.

Operations are impeded by Ankara directly aiding terrorist fighters – letting them freely cross back and forth between Turkey and Syria.

Erdogan provides them with weapons, munitions, equipment and supplies. He sells their smuggled oil, waging proxy war on Syria complicit with Washington.

The US Created A Monster: ISIS Atrocities

isis made in USA

ISIS is a US creation, their fighters used as imperial foot soldiers, trained in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar and perhaps elsewhere by CIA operatives, Pentagon special forces and their allied counterparts – taught the fine art of committing atrocities.

They include beheadings, mass executions, other types of cold-blooded murder, deliberately targeting civilians, human trafficking, exploiting young girls and women as sex slaves, as well as using sarin and other toxic chemical agents.

Russia has clear evidence pointing to the “very high” probability (virtual certainty) indicating ISIS use of banned chemical weapons.

According to Russia’s Foreign Ministry head of nonproliferation and control over weapons Mikhail Ulyanov:

“Several times we have noted facts of the probable use of chemical weapons by (ISIS) militants and in a broader sense by Islamic radicals, beginning with the attack in Khan al-Assal (Syria) in March 2013 against government forces.”

“Since facts are shown in one direction…we believe the probability that the weapons are being used by militants is very high.”

In mid-December, Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP) opposition member Eren Erdem accused Ankara of covering up a major war crime, likely direct high-level involvement in smuggling materials used to make deadly sarin gas to ISIS and other terrorists.

Assad is irresponsibly blamed for US-supported terrorists’ high crimes, including use of banned weapons. Turkish officials are directly involved in supplying ISIS and other terrorist groups with sarin and likely other toxic agents – materials smuggled cross-border along with weapons, munitions and various supplies on the pretext of delivering humanitarian aid.

None of this could go on without direct high-level regime involvement, a rogue state partnering with Washington’s imperial enterprise.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) found Syrians (largely civilians) were exposed to sarin and other toxic agents multiple times – incidents reported by Damascus.

On Monday, OPCW head Ahmet Uzumcu said “(i)n one instance, analysis of some blood samples indicates that individuals were at some point exposed to sarin or a sarin-like substance.”

“Further investigation would be necessary to determine when or under what circumstances such exposure might have occurred.”

Evidence Russia obtained indicates ISIS use. Syria under OPCW supervision destroyed its chemical weapons stockpile. Nothing suggests it was ever used throughout years of conflict. Claims otherwise were Big Lies.

Earlier, ISIS and other terrorists were caught red-handed using sarin and other chemical weapons against Syrian civilians numerous times.

CIA and US special forces trained takfiri terrorists in chemical weapons use, perhaps supplying them with toxic agents to use.

Saudi Arabia was caught red-handed, providing them with toxic agents in containers marked “made in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).”

Last November, OPCW experts confirmed terrorists’ use of mustard gas and chlorine in Syria with “utmost confidence,” calling perpetrators “non-state actor(s).”

The 1925 Geneva Protocol prohibits use of “asphyxiating, poisonous or other gases, and of all analogous liquids, materials or devices,” as well as “bacteriological methods of warfare.”

The 1972 Biological Weapons Convention and 1993 Chemical Weapons Conventions prohibits their production, storage or transfer.

America and Israel notoriously use chemical, biological and radiological weapons in warfare. Major media report nothing.

Syria was wrongfully blamed throughout years of conflict for using toxic agents – despite no independently verifiable evidence proving it. None exists.

Captured ISIS Terrorist Admits Stolen Oil Arrives In Turkey Daily

Russian surveillance footage, independent investigative journalists and others exposed Erdogan’s oil smuggling racket, complicit with ISIS, refining and selling stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil on the black market – Israel a key beneficiary.

Captured ISIS militant Mahmud Ghazi Tatar provided more evidence of illegal Turkish oil operations. His “commander told us that the group sells fuel to Turkey,” he explained.

Income funds ISIS terrorist activities. “(O)il trucks crossing into Turkey every day carry crude oil, as well as petrol,” Tatar said. Militants have “enough oil to last them a long time” – generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue annually along with other lucrative illicit operations supplying more, up to an estimated billion dollars annually.

Oil is sold through intermediary businessmen and traders, names not revealed. It’s well known Erdogan, his son, and high-level Turkish officials are involved, profiting hugely from smuggling operations.

ISIS gets “lots of supplies from Turkey and Arab countries,” Tatar explained. Ankara’s denials ring hollow. It supplies training, weapons, munitions, toxic agents and safe haven areas for ISIS and other takfiri terrorists to move freely cross-border to and from Syria and Iraq.

Former Iraqi national security advisor Mowaffak Al-Rubaie said Turkey is heavily involved in smuggling and selling stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil.

A Norwegian daily Klassekampen report prepared at the request of Norway’s Foreign Ministry with Rystad Energy, an independent oil and gas consulting firm, revealed large amounts of oil smuggled from ISIS-controlled Syrian and Iraqi areas into Turkey – for black market resale at low prices.

The whole world knows what’s going on despite Western officials and complicit media turning a blind eye to high crime.

ISIS’ strength and ability to flourish depends on foreign support – from Washington, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel and other complicit nations.

As long as it continues, efforts to combat its scourge will continue longterm – including in new areas where it establishes footholds.

Putin explained ISIS gets direct aid from around 40 countries, including G20 ones.

His main concern is preventing its spread to Russia – why he intervened in Syria at the request of its government, making a major difference on the ground, ready to aid other regional nations if asked, urging world unity against a common scourge.

Foiled US Coup Attempts To Oust Assad

The Wall Street Journal reported years of failed US attempts at instigating a military coup to oust Assad. Secret communications were maintained with Syrian officials.

Washington looked for “cracks” it could exploit with little success. The Journal’s report is “based on interviews with more than two dozen people, including current and former US officials, Arab officials and diplomats,” it said.

Senior officials from both countries spoke directly or through intermediaries – notably “Assad’s main allies Russia and Iran.” Several times he tried unsuccessfully to get Washington to cooperate with Syria in combating terrorism.

The Journal ignored Obama’s full responsibility for launching war in 2011, wrongfully blaming violent outbreaks at the time on “crackdown(s) on protests” – instead of explaining they were instigated from abroad, typical of how America operates.

Its CIA and other elements are experts on stoking violence and instability, shifting blame for their crimes on targeted governments. According to an unnamed former senior Obama official, “(t)he White House’s policy in 2011 was to get to the point of a transition in Syria by finding cracks in the regime and offering incentives for people to abandon Assad,” said the Journal – code language for generous bribes.

Political analyst Boris Dolgov said Obama’s White House made repeated efforts to undermine Assad’s hold on power.

“(W)hen Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem visited Qatar, its authorities offered him millions of dollars to declare that he was switching sides and joining the opposition,” Dolgov explained. (T)here were quite a few coup attempts. (T)hey all failed.”

Dolgov praised Assad and government figures around him. The vast majority of Syrians respect him as their legitimate leader – knowing the alternatives are either predatory Western control or ISIS running things.

“Syria is a sovereign country,” Assad maintains. “Syrians, not Europeans (or Americans), must decide whether there is a bad president or a good president in Syria.”

Several times Assad said he’d willingly step down if most Syrians no longer want him as their leader. Otherwise he’s obligated to stay and serve them. He rightfully blamed Western countries allied with despotic regional ones and Israel for turning Syria into a cauldron of violence, chaos, terrorism and Islamic extremism.

Washington remains adamant. Assad must go remains official US policy. When and how alone are debatable – not replacement by a regime Washington controls.

Endless conflict may continue as long as he remains in power. Russia’s forthright efforts at resolving things diplomatically have no chance to succeed as long as US policy remains hardline.

After earlier failed efforts to find cracks in his government to exploit, Obama publicly called for him to step down in August 2011, the same demand repeated numerous times to no avail.

Former US ambassador to Syria Robert Ford calls the government “very supple politically. They’re very smart…always testing for weakness and pushing the envelope.”

They’ve hung in valiantly through nearly five years of US instigated aggression, using ISIS and other takfiri terrorists as imperial foot soldiers – along covert special forces on the ground and bombing Syrian targets since September 2014.

Russia’s anti-terrorism intervention in September 2015  changed the dynamic significantly on the ground, hugely disrupting Washington’s hegemonic aims, giving Assad the upper hand, enabling slow and steady gains against forces used against him for regime change.

With Putin fully committed to combat ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria (and perhaps elsewhere regionally and beyond) for as long as it takes to defeat them, Assad looks stronger now than any previous time since the early months of conflict.”

The Free Syrian Army Myth

free syrian army

It’s a phantom army, virtually nonexistent, on paper only, a PR stunt, its so-called “moderates” allied with terrorist groups fighting Assad.

On Wednesday, Fars News (FN) said elements calling themselves the Free Syrian Army (FSA) continue supplying terrorists fighting Assad with weapons.

“The FSA is working side-by-side with al-Qaeda-affiliated groups and supplying them with US-made arms supplied to them by certain Persian Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar in order to continue the fight against the Syrian Army,” FN explained.

“FSA worked hand-in-hand with Al-Qaeda affiliates, providing them with necessary supplies and logistics in order for them to continue their battle against the pro-government forces,” citing sources familiar with what’s going on, distinct from phony Western propaganda.

“Necessary supplies like the US-manufactured TOW anti-tank missiles are supplied to the Al-Qaeda groups, including the al-Nusra Front,” through individuals calling themselves FSA representatives, US imperial agents, FN added.

In early December, Syrian forces discovered large caches of weapons, munitions and food supplied by Qatar to terrorist groups – in liberated Lattakia province areas, items marked “A Gift of Qatar’s Government.”

Weapons, munitions and other supplies provided by Saudi Arabia and the UAE were found. The myth of moderate anti-Assad forces persists. Virtually all elements against him are terrorists, including ISIS – fully supported by US-led NATO and regional rogue states.

Separately, Amnesty International turned truth on its head, irresponsibly accusing Russia of killing civilians in Syria – with no verifiable evidence proving it, just pro-Western sources or unnamed ones, allying the group with Washington’s imperial enterprise.

Russian munitions strike terrorist targets with precision accuracy. Photographic evidence proves it, material US-led forces don’t provide.

AI disgracefully accused Russia of “massive(l) destr(oying)” residential areas, alleging use of banned cluster munitions. A spokesman for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said “(t)he UN cannot independently confirm” AI’s allegations.

Without mincing words, they’re likely US-sponsored Big Lies, AI reading from the script it’s given. Russia’s Defense Ministry blasted its report, spokesman Igor Konashenkov saying:

“Once again, nothing concrete or new was published, only the same cliches and fakes that we have already debunked repeatedly.”

“The report constantly uses expressions such as ‘supposedly Russian strikes,’ ‘possible violations of international law’ – a lot of assumptions without any evidence.”

“The barrage of lies was aimed at accusing Russian forces of bombing Syrian hospitals. We immediately rejected these claims, presenting comprehensive photographic and video evidence to the public.”

“A characteristic feature of all these allegations is the lack of concrete evidence and references to anonymous witnesses. As for cluster munitions, Russian (aircraft don’t) us(e) them.”

No visual or other evidence proves it “because there are no such weapons at our base. We have a question for Amnesty International.”

“Why did this organization keep silent and turn a blind eye to material, undeniable, real evidence of the use of cluster munitions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against cities in eastern Ukraine?”

Why does it feature fake reports instead of legitimate ones against criminal states like America and its rogue NATO partners? Why does it fail to denounce their imperial wars, including mass slaughter of civilians?

Why does it destroy what little credibility it may have left by joining the irresponsible Russia-bashing crowd – the one nation above all others doing more to restore peace and stability in war-torn Ukraine and Syria?

Why does it blame Russia for US-led coalition crimes, complicit with ISIS and other terrorist groups it supports?

On Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova denounced AI’s accusations as “lack(ing) facts.”

“The material used in the report can’t be termed as factual data. All this adds to the miserable impression about the work led by human rights activists in Syria.”

“We see a politically motivated approach, constant misinformation on a large scale: some document photos which – it is obvious even without careful analysis – are fake,” likely supplied AI by Washington and/or its key NATO allies.

More Evidence Of Turkish Complicity With ISIS In Selling Stolen Oil

oil isis turkey syria

Turkey is a pariah nation, a tyrannical crime syndicate masquerading as a nation-state, run by international outlaws. President Erdogan governs like a mafia godfather, intolerant of opposition and criticism.

Nothing of consequence goes on without his direct knowledge and approval. Various illicit activities let him, his family, and other top regime officials profit hugely.

His minions are involved with CIA agents and US special forces in training ISIS recruits on Turkish territory. Their fighters move freely back and forth cross-border to Syria and Iraq. They’re regularly provided with arms, munitions and other supplies.

Turkish officials maintain the fiction of delivering humanitarian aid to so-called moderate rebels. No one can find them. They don’t exist.

Officials at the highest level of Erdogan’s regime are involved in smuggling, refining and black market sales of stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil – an industrial scale operation generating millions of dollars in daily revenues. Russia publicly presented documented video and other detailed evidence of ISIS’ oil truck pipeline transport operation extending for miles – smuggling crude freely cross-border daily into Turkey for refining and black market sales.

The whole world knows what’s going on despite Western officials and media downplaying or ignoring a scheme demanding intervention to stop.

ISIS’ strength lies in its foreign support, notably from Washington, and ability to raise enormous amounts of money through various illicit activities to keep their killing machine well financed.

Russia is the only nation along with Syrian ground forces, Hezbollah fighters, and Iranian advisors actively targeting its operations, bombing its oil facilities and truck transport pipeline. US-led coalition countries maintain the pretense of doing the same thing while actively supporting the scourge they claim to oppose.

It bears repeating. Without foreign support, especially from Washington and other major powers, ISIS and other terrorist groups couldn’t exist. At most they’d be minor nuisances, easily contained. Instead, their paymasters permit them to thrive. Russia’s intervention significantly changed things on the ground, but it’s slow-going. ISIS and other terrorist groups control vast amounts of Syrian and Iraqi territory.

Retaking it requires protracted struggle – city by city, town by town, village by village, and securing recaptured areas. Bashar al-Assad is right. Cut off all foreign support and Syria can be liberated in a year or less. Maintaining it assures endless conflict – precisely what Washington wants despite rhetorical claims otherwise.

Hegemons change strategies and tactics, not ultimate objectives. Washington wants Assad and all other independent leaders ousted – replaced by Western-controlled stooges, the reason for US imperial wars.

The aim is unchallenged global dominance. It remains rock-hard firm throughout the entire post-WW II era – more-so today than ever because of bipartisan neocon lunatics infesting Washington.

A Norwegian daily Klassekampen report supplied the latest evidence of Turkey’s oil smuggling operations complicit with ISIS – prepared at the request of Norway’s Foreign Ministry with Rystad Energy, an independent oil and gas consulting firm.

“Large amounts of oil have been smuggled across the border to Turkey from IS-controlled areas in Syria and Iraq,” Klassekampen reported. It’s “sent by tankers via smuggling routes across the border (and then) sold at greatly reduced prices…”

Vladmir Putin maintains ISIS gets direct aid from around 40 countries, including G20 ones, notably America, Britain and France, along with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel and others.

“Exports happen in a well-established black market via Turkey,” Klassekampen’s report explained. “Many of the smugglers and corrupt border guards, who helped Saddam Hussein avoid international sanctions, are now helping (ISIS) export oil and import cash.”

Corruption in Turkey goes right to the top. Russia accused Ankara of direct involvement at the highest levels of its regime. Their criminality continues because US-led Western countries turn a blind eye.

Why Has The U.S. Been Communicating With Assad?

The White House has been talking with the Syrian leadership via Russia and Iran.

(The Real Agenda) No one in the Middle East trusts the United States to keep clear and honest negotiations. The American leadership is split between demolishing Assad and Syria or keeping him in power for as long as it is convenient for the White House.

That is why the US has maintained secret contacts with the regime of Bashar al-Assad during the war in Syria to address “specific issues”, such as the fight against the Islamic state, according to various sources have reported the Wall Street Journal.

The American newspaper bases it reporting on information provided by more than two dozen people, including current and former Administration officials, as well as officials and Arab diplomats.

According to these sources, the talks between the White House and Syria began in 2011 with the outbreak of social protests against Assad’s government in the context of the Arab Spring that ran the region.

It is important to remember that such outbreak was all but spontaneous. The so-called moderate groups that initiated the protests were 100% backed by the U.S..

“Right now the policy of the White House is about encouraging a shift in Syria finding cracks in the regime of Assad and offering incentives for them to leave,” said an American former official.

But this strategy did not work because it is a very cohesive regime.

“They’re always checking their weaknesses and putting new layers over them. They are very smart,” said Robert Ford, former U.S. ambassador in Damascus.

Since the civil war began, the White House contacted the Syrian government through Russia and Iran, its main allies in the region, to persuade Assad to stop using chemical weapons against the civilian population.

This allegation was never proven by the U.S. or any of its allies. What was later proven was how U.S. backed terrorists retrieved and used chemicals weapons, such as Sarin gas, against innocents in Syria.

This time, there were direct contacts between Undersecretary of State William Burns and Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem, who exchanged two telephone calls, but those calls “did not have any effect.”

In the following years, the U.S. requests focused on lowering the intensity of the conflict and to seek the release of five U.S. citizens missing in Syria.

The State Department adviser, Anne Patterson, spoke at least twice with Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad.

John Allen, Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East and Anne Patterson, appeared before a Senate committee to provide details on this issue.

Since 2014 efforts have focused on bringing the executive to the negotiating table. To do that, Ford, as special envoy, contacted several times with Khaled Ahmad, a confidant of Assad, triggering the Geneva process.

Lately, the United States has talked with Syria to inform the government about the deployment of rebel forces trained by U.S. troops on the ground in Syria, who supposedly are fighting the Islamic state.

Washington has insisted at all times that these contacts do not imply recognition of any kind, but the Assad regime has used it to their advantage. “They have somehow been re-legitimization” lamented Ibrahim Hamidi, a Syrian journalist Hayat Arabic daily Al.

More important than these contacts between Washington and Damascus has been the split between the White House, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. The latter has been independently providing intelligence to the Syrian government due to its leadership’s disagreement with the way in which the White House and the Army have been conducting the war.

Such division was recently reported on by journalist Sy Hersh. According to his article, people in high places in the Navy realize that the current agenda led by the Obama administration will result in further military escalation which may end up fueling a WW III scenario.

US Phony War On ISIS Continues

US policy continues supporting the scourge it claims to oppose – directly aiding ISIS and other takfiri terrorist groups in Syria, Iraq, now getting a foothold in Libya and Central Asia.

Obama’s claims otherwise are a Big Lie. Since America supported Mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan (today’s Taliban) against Soviet Russia, it spent countless billions of dollars recruiting, training, arming, funding and directing terrorist elements, used as proxy imperial foot soldiers where they’re deployed.

Ignore high-minded administration and Pentagon rhetoric. Nothing suggests US policy changed – nothing interfering with its longterm goal.

It wants all independent governments replaced with US-controlled vassal states – especially Russia, China and Iran, no matter the cost in human lives and misery.

Supportive major media maintain the grand deception, suppressing rogue state policies demanding daily headlines and calls for responsible officials to be prosecuted for high crimes too grave to ignore.

Instead, they air video footage of Russia’s anti-terrorism campaign, pretending strikes were carried out by US warplanes – where conducted, strictly avoiding ISIS and other takfiri targets unlike Moscow’s commitment to destroy them.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said Moscow invited foreign journalists to view its Latakia, Syria operations firsthand.

“I have to stress that no-one has ever heard of the reporters’ press-tours to the (US-led) anti-ISIS coalition’s bases…(I)nternational TV channels are often using of the footage of Russian airstrikes to illustrate the airstrikes by the anti-ISIS coalition,” Konashenkov explained.

He stopped short of accusing them of willfully deceiving their viewers. Last month, the US Public Broadcasting News Hour used Russian aerial strike footage, claiming they were US airstrikes, deliberately lying to viewers.

Pentagon claims about destroying ISIS targets, including trucks carrying stolen oil, are willful deception. No evidence supports them – in contrast with Russia, having photographic evidence of every strike, displaying it publicly.

US cable, broadcast and European television channels operate the same way – maintaining the fiction of US-led war on ISIS, instead of reporting accurately on what’s ongoing.

At the same time, they regurgitate state-sponsored lies, maliciously claiming precision Russian airstrikes against ISIS and other terrorist groups are indiscriminate, killing civilians and phantom “moderates.”

Konashenkov minced no words saying “(t)oday we are the only (military) in the world that has showed how we have hit terrorist targets with specified precision weapons from Russian planes and ships (surface and subsurface).”

The claimed US-led war on ISIS is pure fiction. No evidence supports Pentagon and administration reports. Syrian and Iraqi infrastructure and government targets alone are being struck – supporting, not opposing ISIS.

US intelligence knows their precise locations, including its media operations spreading online propaganda. In over a year of US-led regional airstrikes, not a single media operation was bombed – on the phony pretext of avoiding civilian casualties.

US-led NATO notoriously bombed Belgrade media in 1999, Iraqi media in 1991 and 2003, Libya media in 2011 – along with residential communities and other nonmilitary targets wherever America wages war, inflicting enormous numbers of civilian casualties, disgracefully called “collateral damage.”

US wars since the beginning of the republic killed countless tens of millions of noncombatants – a horrific record of a ruthless rogue state, disdainful of human lives, public welfare and safety.

ISIS-run media operate in Syria, Iraq and Libya. Their locations are well-known, easy to destroy with targeted airstrikes, largely eliminating their propaganda war.

Their operations disseminate radical Islamic ideology worldwide, attracting new recruits. They should be prime targets to eliminate.

They continue operating with US support, aiding its foot soldier allies, doing nothing to combat their scourge.

Turkish Whistleblower Faces Possible Treason Charge

Just societies would praise Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP) opposition member Eren Erdem as a national hero.

Turkey under Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a fascist police state, one of the world’s vilest.

James Petras nailed him cold, explaining his “long and ignoble history of betraying political associates, trading partners and military allies; of pledging friendship and then bombing his ‘friends’ and murdering citizens; of negotiating ‘in good faith’ and then killing rivals; of playing democrat then behaving like an ordinary demagogic dictator.”

He’s bombing Syrian and Iraqi Kurds on the pretext of combating ISIS, his regime allied with a scourge vital to eliminate.

Russia documented clear evidence of Ankara’s involvement in smuggling stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil cross-border to Turkey for refining and black market sales, mainly to Israel – Washington turning a blind eye to his criminal enterprise, complicit with ISIS.

He’s been directly involved in arming them, supplying them with deadly weapons, including toxic chemical agents. His purported war on terrorism is a complete hoax – just like America’s. Both countries support what they claim to oppose.

A previous article discussed Erdem accusing Ankara of high-level involvement in smuggling materials used to make deadly sarin gas to ISIS and other terrorists.

Interviewed by RT International, he blew the whistle on high-level state criminality, saying evidence shows “(c)hemical weapon materials are being brought to Turkey and being put together in Syria in camps of ISIS which was known as Iraqi Al Qaeda during that time.”

“These are all detected. There are phone recordings of this shipment like ‘don’t worry about the border. We’ll take care of it,’ and we also see the bureaucracy is being used.”

None of this could go on without involvement at the highest levels of Turkey’s regime, including Erdogan and other top officials – profiting hugely by conspiring with ISIS, along with many other nefarious operations.

Petras described him as a wannabe “21st century Pasha,” building and living in “the largest luxurious presidential palace in the world.”

He enriches himself hugely the old-fashioned way, by all forms of grand theft he can concoct – besides threatening world peace by his outrageous geopolitics, including shooting down a Russian Su-24 bomber in Syrian airspace and ordering a near-confrontation between Russian and Turkish vessels in the Black and Aegean Seas.

Perhaps he has something more significant in mind, complicit with Washington. He’d never confront Russia belligerently without US permission and likely direct involvement.

He wants all internal critics silenced – journalists, opposition MPs and others. Erdem faces treason charges after exposing Turkey’s involvement in supplying ISIS and other terrorists with materials to make sarin gas.

Ankara’s chief prosecutor opened a case against him following RT’s interview. Turkey considers exposing regime crimes acts of treason and espionage. MPs have parliamentary immunity. For Erdem, maybe not for long.

According to the Turkish publication Today’s Zaman, Ankara’s chief prosecutor’s office “will send a summary of proceedings to the Ministry of Justice on Thursday.”

“If the summary of proceedings is sent to Parliament, the process for stripping Erdem of his parliamentary immunity will begin. Erdem might be prosecuted over treason if Parliament votes in favor of the removal of his parliamentary immunity.”

Erdem defended his actions, accusing regime officials of a smear campaign. His information is based on what an investigation conducted by a Turkish court uncovered in 2013.

At the time, five Turkish citizens were arrested, released a week later after the local prosecutor was replaced.

Erdem said he’s getting social media death threats. “The paramilitary organization Ottoman Hearths is sharing my address (on Twitter) and plans a raid (on my house). I am being targeted with death threats because I am patriotically opposed to something that tramples on my country’s prestige,” he explained.

He faces possible longterm imprisonment for courageously exposing regime wrongdoing.

Turkey under Ergogan is a virtual cesspool of high-level criminality, supported by Washington – bipartisan US officials guilty of their own high crimes, one fascist regime supporting another.

Turkey Concealed Its ISIS Oil Smuggling

Turkey Concealed Its ISIS Oil Smuggling

Russian UN envoy Vitaly Churkin accused Washington and Turkey of failing to inform the Security Council about ISIS trafficking in stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil.

It’s required under SC Res. 2199, unanimously passed in February 2015, requiring “Member States to take steps to prevent terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria from benefiting from trade in oil, antiquities and hostages, and from receiving donations.”

Churkin said Russia “got serious complaints” about SC Res. 2199 violations. “(T)he Americans had to provide (required) information, and of course Turkey…should have reported any illegal (oil and other banned) trade going on there. They didn’t do it.”

“We’ve just been to the Pentagon and two several star generals were telling us about (US-led) coalition actions. I asked them a very simple question.”

“You’ve been flying there for a year. We’ve been there for two months and already provided many photos showing that oil is smuggled through the Turkish border.”

“Didn’t you know about it? (You) must have known, and if (so)  should have reported it to the Security Council,” Churkin stressed.

Russia is involved in preparing a new Security Council resolution, “tightening regulations” on illicit oil and other banned trade. Churkin urged its adoption this week.

Russia has well-documented evidence of Turkish involvement with ISIS in “industrial-scale” transporting, refining and black market sales of stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil – Israel the main buyer, complicit with ISIS like Washington, Ankara and allied rogue states.

US international energy affairs coordinator Amos Hochstein lied, claiming “insignificant” amounts of stolen oil smuggled into Turkey for black market sales. The operation is huge, involving thousands of tanker trucks, generating around $8.6 million daily, according to Russian estimates.

Hochstein is complicit in Washington’s coverup, part of its support for ISIS and other terrorist groups, along with Turkey and other rogue partners.

Separately, Washington pressured most Security Council member to reject a Russian draft statement, condemning a terrorist attack in Homs on Saturday, killing 22 civilians, injuring over 70 others.

ISIS claimed responsibility. The incident occurred near a hospital in Homs’ al-Zahra neighborhood – after terrorists controlling the city for many months and Syrian officials agreed on a ceasefire, straightaway flouted, proving negotiating with ISIS and likeminded groups is futile. Defeating them alone matters.

Syria’s Foreign Ministry sent letters to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council president, saying “continued silence over crimes of terrorists emboldens them.”

Terrorist attacks “would not have happened without…generous support with money, weapons and ammunition to the terrorist organizations, as well as the political and media support provided by known countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar” – mostly from Washington.

On Friday, Security Council members condemned “in the strongest terms” a Kabul, Afghanistan attack near Spain’s embassy. Because of US pressure, it ignored the Homs attack, the latest example of double standard hypocrisy.

Silence = support for terrorism!

Turkey Smuggled Sarin Gas To Terrorists In Syria

Turkey is complicit with Washington, other rogue NATO regimes, Israel, and despotic Arab states in waging war on Syria – including smuggled use of various type banned chemical weapons, Assad wrongfully blamed for their crimes.

Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP) opposition member Eren Erdem accused Ankara of covering up a major war crime, likely direct high-level involvement in smuggling materials used to make deadly sarin gas to ISIS and other terrorists – US proxy foot soldiers waging war on Syria.

Various attacks occurred. The most notorious targeted the Damascus Ghouta suburb in August 2013, killing and injuring scores of civilians.

At the time, then Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexandr Lubkashevich said “(w)e’re getting more new evidence that this criminal act was of a provocative nature.”

“(T)here are reports circulating on the Internet, in particular that the materials of the incident and accusations against government troops had been posted for several hours before the so-called attack. Thus, it was a pre-planned action.”

Syria’s government had nothing to do with it despite US-led false accusations otherwise.

Under a UN-brokered deal, Syria eliminated its entire chemical weapons stockpile. No evidence indicates it used any toxic agents throughout nearly five years of conflict. Plenty reveals terrorists’ use on numerous occasions, sarin and other banned substances.

On December 10, Erdem addressed Turkish parliamentarians, discussing criminal case number 2013/120, opened by Ankara’s General Prosecutor’s Office in Adana.

Evidence shows various Turkish nationals were involved in direct dealings with ISIS and other terrorist groups, supplying them with sarin gas.

Recorded wiretapped conversations exposed dealings with Al Qaeda terrorist Hayyam Kasap. RT International interviewed Erdem.

He explained “(t)here is data in this indictment. Chemical weapon materials are being brought to Turkey and being put together in Syria in camps of ISIS which was known as Iraqi Al Qaeda during that time.”

“These are all detected. There are phone recordings of this shipment like ‘don’t worry about the border. We’ll take care of it,’ and we also see the bureaucracy is being used.”

None of this could go on without direct high-level regime involvement, perhaps Erdogan OKing the scheme complicit with Washington and other rogue states.

According to Erden, once word got out, 13 arrests were made. Days later, suspects were released, charges dropped – after a new Adana public prosecutor replaced the original one. Individuals accused then moved cross-border unobstructed to Syria.

“The phone recordings in the indictment showed all the details from how the shipment was going to be made to how it was prepared, from the content of the labs to the source of the materials,” Erden explained.

“Which trucks were going to be used, all dates etc. From A to Z, everything was discussed and recorded. Despite all of this evidence, the suspects were released,” the case closed, showing high-level coverup, perhaps ordered by Erdogan.

Materials to make sarin gas and perhaps other toxic chemicals moved freely cross-border from Turkey to Syria. Erden indicated a high-level regime coverup, evidence revealing Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag’s involvement.

Toxic chemicals were purchased from Europe,” he said. US-led Western countries “should question themselves about these relations. Western sources know very well who carried out the sarin gas attack in Syria.”

“They know these people. They know who (they) are working with. They know that these people are working for Al-Qaeda…Western (countries) are hypocrites about the situation.”

It bears repeating. No evidence showed Syrian use of chemical or other toxic substances throughout years of conflict.

Plenty shows CIA and US special forces train takfiri terrorists in chemical weapons use, perhaps directly supplying them with toxic agents.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia was caught red-handed providing them with chemical agents in containers marked “made in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).”

In early November, Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) experts confirmed terrorists’ use of mustard gas and chlorine in Syria with “utmost confidence” – calling perpetrators “non-state actor(s).”

Blaming Assad for incidents of chemical weapons’ use is part of the US-led propaganda campaign to wrongfully vilify him. Expect no letup ahead.

Israeli Commandos Rescue Wounded Terrorists In Syria

israeli commandos treat isis

Israel, like America, is a sworn enemy of peace and stability. Both nations partner in waging war on Syria.

Britain’s Daily MailOnline (MO) has video evidence of Israeli commandos rescuing ISIS and other terrorists in Syria – crossing the border virtually nightly under cover of darkness to accomplish their mission.

A previous article cited Israel’s Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon admitting Israeli support for ISIS and other takfiri terrorists – deceptively calling them Syrian rebels, disingenuously claiming a humanitarian mission.

Over 2,000 wounded terrorists have been treated in Israeli hospitals, according to MO, aiding their recovery to return them to terrorizing Syrian communities.

In September 2014, a photo of Netanyahu and Ya’alon visiting terrorists in an Israeli hospital went viral online. Netanyahu was seen shaking a terrorist’s hand.

netanyahu shakes terrorist hand in hospitall

Israel and America are part of the problem, not the solution to restoring regional peace and stability. They prioritize endless conflicts, mass slaughter and destruction – responsible for ravaging one country after another, creating the greatest refugee crisis since WW II, as well as possibly provoking a possible US/Russian confrontation.

MO said it “gained unprecedented access to (Israel’s) secretive and hazardous operation, embedding with the commandos to obtain exclusive footage, and interviewing the medics who are obliged to treat Syrian militants, some of whom openly admit that they intend to kill Israelis.”

“Almost every night, Israeli troops run secret missions to save the lives of Syrian fighters, all of whom are sworn enemies of the Jewish state.”

MO quoted Israeli Lt. Col. Itzik Malka, Golan Brigade medical branch commander, saying “(m)y dream is that one day, the Red Cross will say, thanks guys. We’ll take it from here. You go back to your unit and take care of injured Israelis.”

“I am proud of what we are doing here, but it is a great burden. For every (jihadist hospitalized), there is one less bed for an Israeli. One day we will have to make a choice between an Israeli life and a Syrian one. When that happens it will be hard, but I have to say my first duty will be to Israelis.”

It’s unclear what arrangements Israel made with terrorist groups to rescue and treat their wounded fighters, said MO. All that’s known is they’re taken to Syrian/Israeli border areas, then picked up nightly by Israeli commandos for treatment.

“(L)ives of more than 2,000” fighters were saved. Israel is mostly tightlipped about its operation. It involves treating some civilians – to create the illusion of a humanitarian mission.

An unnamed Israeli spokesman lied, claiming it’s “a world leader in providing humanitarian assistance, both in the Middle East and around the world.”

While treating terrorists used by Washington as imperial foot soldiers, Israel intermittently bombs Syria and Gaza, along with brutalizing the entire Palestinian population.

It extrajudicially executes on average two Palestinians daily, injures thousands more, mass imprisons countless numbers for political reasons, treating them brutally under horrific gulag conditions.

Caring for wounded terrorists is for strategic, not humanitarian reasons – part of Israel’s war on Bashar al-Assad. According to Lt. Col. Malka, “(t)hey are desperate for our medical help.”

“They have no doctors, not even a vet. Once we treated a man who had been stitched up by a friend with a needle and thread. If they want our help to continue, they know they must stop anybody from attacking our soldiers and civilians.”

It’s a strategic relationship between otherwise sworn enemies – “a case of my enemy’s enemy is my friend,” according to one analyst. Israel struck a deal with the devil.

It’s main objective is defeating Assad, Hezbollah and Iran to achieve unchallenged regional control, partnered with Washington.

America Aims To Derail The Fight Against ISIS

turkey isis

(The Real Agenda) Philip Giraldi, is a former military intelligence officer and CIA operative. Having worked closed to both army intelligence and special operations with the Central Intelligence Agency, gave Giraldi a special understanding of how wars are fought and why nations and their leaders do things, how they do they and why the carry them out.

According to Mr. Girardi, Turkey’s recent challenge of Russia is a clear example of a country that explicitly intends to derail the success gained by the Syrian government and Russia against the Islamic State.

He says it is a complicated situation, but that given the history of the Turkish regime, there is no way that a Turkish army general or colonel would have himself ordered the shoot down of the Russian Su-24 fighter jet. The attack on the plane “had to come from the top down; from the president himself,” said Giraldi.

“Knowing that, it had to be premeditated. It was something they were prepared to do.” The plan behind the shoot-down of the plane is much larger than the event itself. Giraldi says that the intention was, and still is, to stop the formation of an international coalition where Russia, the United States, France and Great Britain would be acting together.

When asked why Turkey would seek entanglements with Russia, Giraldi explained that Erdogan has no intention to defeat ISIS. He added that Turkey’s only foreign policy goal is to prevent the formation of a neighbor state called Kurdistan and that anything that the Turkish government does is aimed at preventing that from happening.

“The are fearful of a Kurdish state forming, taking Turkish, Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian territory.” Mr. Giraldi believes that Erdogan made a miscalculation. He believed that after attacking the Russian plane, NATO and the West in general, would come running to protect it from any kind of Russian aggression, but in practice, it was the opposite. The Turkish attack was met with skepticism and even rejection in many NATO member-nations.

On the issue of Turkish collaboration with terrorist organizations including the flow of weapons, oil and terrorists to and from Syria, Giraldi explained that Turkey does not really want to stop ISIS. In fact, he says, Turkey is using the refugees coming from Syria and other countries in the region as a leverage to press Europe to aid its plans. “Supplying weapons to ISIS and Al-Nusra is Turkish policy,” says Giraldi. “In return, they are able to get the oil from Syria and resell it.”

As I reported a few days ago, the Erdogan family is heavily involved in the commerce of stolen Syrian oil and consequently, is directly profiting from the conflict in Syria, Iraq and other civil wars in the region. “The Turks tend to see the conflict in very narrow terms, only in what related to their interests.”

Not surprisingly, Giraldi confirmed that ISIS is not a threat to Turkey. This has been evident as the country has not suffered any attacks perpetrated by the terrorist organization. The same has happened with Israel. Giraldi explains that the recent attacks in Turkey, which the government says were committed by ISIS were actually carried out by Turkish intelligence to disguise government plans to support ISIS and get ahead on its domestic agenda.

Establishing an Islamic State in Turkey

Publicly, Turkey says it is fighting ISIS along with the US, France, Britain and the rest of the Arab coalition, but in private the story is very different. Mr. Giraldi believes that Turkey is actually attempting to form a true Islamic State within its own borders.

The current Turkish government seeks to end the secular side of the Turkish State as we speak and Giraldi thinks Erdogan is behind that plan. “Erdogan is trying to destroy the traditional constitution of the Turkish nation and secular groups are deeply resentful of it.” Giraldi cites recent demonstrations all over Turkey as a sign that Erdogan will not be able to continue with his agenda for much longer.

Advancing the formation of a political Islamic State in Turkey is both a tool and a goal, according to Giraldi’s assessment. “It is definitely a goal, but it is also a tool,” because Erdogan has used the fact that most of the population is poorly educated and deeply religious to manipulate them and gain their support.

One of the most confusing situations on the current war in Syria and neighboring countries is the fact that multiple countries are said to be fighting ISIS while aiding ISIS. Right now, Russia, Iran, Iraq and Hezbollah are fighting ISIS on Syrian territory with the expressed permission of the Assad government. Meanwhile, the Arab coalition, the US, Britain and France are also allegedly bombing ISIS, but without Assad’s permission.

As for the reason why Washington continues to support Turkey, despite its obvious support for ISIS, Giraldi says that the strongest reason is that the US needs permission from Turkey to use a military base to launch its attacks against Syria.

There are no moderates

One of the arguments given by Washington, especially neocons in Capitol Hill and current presidential candidates, to justify sending weapons and troops to Syria is that they are on a mission to train and arm moderate groups who oppose Assad. Despite abundant proof to the contrary, Washington continues to say that terrorist organizations such as Al-Nusra Front are part of those moderate groups. Recently, Saudi Arabia held a meeting with Assad’s enemies in Ryad, to which all kinds of terrorist organizations were invited. At the end of that  meeting the Saudis announced the formation of a new coalition that will fight against ISIS. What the Saudis did not say is that the members of the so-called coalition are, in many cases, ISIS members themselves.

The notion that there are no moderate forces in Syria is also shared by Philip Giraldi. “The moderate of today, becomes the Al-Nusra of tomorrow,” says Giraldi, and these people are the ones that the Americans are arming and aiding to fight against the Syrian Army. “You have American weapons coming to various sources and ending up in the hands of the terrorist groups,” which the Americans call moderates. The so-called moderates are in true members of “Al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda,” explains Giraldi.

Mr. Giraldi believes that the complex situation taking place in Syria is the result of awful miscalculation from the part of the United States. He says the Americans believed that putting pressure on Assad and ISIS would result in the desired outcome by Washington, – taking down Assad – in the same way it has in other conflicts that were instigated by the US, – Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan – but that his time it did not work quite as well.

Playing War and Politics

“It has become a swamp which becomes deeper and deeper.” Giraldi says that Obama has one policy right now and that is to prevent the Syrian conflict from blowing up into a more destructive conflict so that he can leave the White House without carrying that on his back. He wants to avoid such escalation so that another democrat can get elected to take over the US government in 2016.

Giraldi disqualified all current political candidates by saying that they don’t know how to execute foreign policy and that the American public is deeply ignorant about the topic as well. “They are saying what they think they have to say to get elected, but once they get into office everything changes.”

He provided a very recent example on changing policy once a candidate gets to the White House. “Obama was elected to a great extent as a peace candidate,” he remembers. Most people who voted for Obama did it because he preached peace during his political campaign, but after almost two terms in office, the sitting US president has been pretty much as bad as his predecessor, George W. Bush.

Most candidates are intelligent enough to know that what they say does not make any sense, yet the public believes it all. In addition to the continuous lying by politicians from both parties, one has to take into account the idea that in America, people hold the belief that their country is exceptional and that therefore they have an obligation to impose their viewpoint over everyone else. “It creates a toxic mix in the way America sees itself. American exclusiveness is a bad thing,” asserts Giraldi.

He added that the United States has been historically hypocritical in supporting regimes that are against its own interests, such as the Saudi monarchy, all the while saying that Washington’s only goal is to spread democracy worldwide. “America basically wants to be hegemonistic. It wants to be the dominant power in the world and it wants to set the standards for everyone else.”

How many coalitions are needed to defeat ISIS?

Right now, there are multiple groups in Syria and Iraq who allegedly intend to end the Islamic State, however, it is not clear how they are going to do that. Bombing ISIS targets alone does not seem to be the ultimate solution, especially when there is the US, Saudi Arabia and Turkey providing training and weapons to the terrorists themselves.

In this sense, having multiple coalitions does not even seem to be a good starting point to defeat ISIS. According to Giraldi, the first step that must be taken is to isolate or contain ISIS to then reduce the physical territory it occupies. Of course, that containment must also have a financial part; that is, it is also necessary to financially starve ISIS and to stop providing it with new pick up trucks, advanced weaponry and strategic planning.

As for the ideological nature of the terror threat that ISIS presents to the world, Giraldi explained that since terrorism is and idea and a tactic, which means that terror attacks will never go away 100 percent. What players fighting terrorism can and must do is decrease the reach that terror organizations have so that they can no longer carry out attacks outside their neighborhoods. The success of this strategy depends upon many elements, one of them being the complete obstruction of aid to groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra. It is the continuous circulation of military and financial aid, both directly and indirectly, which has spurred terrorism as we know it.

Ironically, the United States government is the single nation that profits the most from the sale of weaponry to its alleged allies in the region and also the illegal arming of guerrilla groups all over the Middle East, Asia, Northern Africa and Latin America. In that sense, is is clear that America not only wants to derail any kind of move to end terrorism but also wants to use terrorism as a tool to carry out its plan to continue dominating the world.

US Racing Recklessly Toward WW III

Mark Twain once said history doesn’t repeat. It rhymes – more dangerously today than ever.

US-instigated events ominously resemble things preceding both world wars – with super-weapons on hair triggers able to end life on earth, and bipartisan policymakers in Washington perhaps willing to use them recklessly.

Once in motion, things have a momentum of their own, heading toward what may be unstoppable. Washington’s grand strategy calls for replacing all independent governments with Western-controlled ones – mainly Russia and China, the main obstacles to achieving its hegemonic objectives.

Middle East tinderbox conditions rage, Washington determined to achieve regional control, waging one war of aggression after another, endless ones in multiple theaters, challenging Russia recklessly.

Will WW III follow? Will the unthinkable become reality? Will nuclear war erupt for the first time ever? Nukes were used against Japan in August 1945 after Nazi Germany surrendered months earlier. and the war in the Pacific was won.

Tokyo’s high command was negotiating surrender when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were gratuitously attacked – so Pentagon commanders could test the destructive power of their new weapons in real time, while showing off for Soviet Russia what Stalin already knew, close to developing his own atomic capability.

Ongoing events should scare everyone. Washington bears full responsibility. Rogue NATO and other partners share it.

Ukraine remains the epicenter of possible European war, Syria its Middle East flashpoint counterpart.

A US/Russian showdown may be building in plain sight. Putin is waging effective war on ISIS and other terrorists in Syria – elements Washington supports, using them to achieve its imperial objectives, a policy heading recklessly toward a frightening showdown.

The possibility of global war with nuclear weapons should focus all world leaders on preventing it at all costs. The threat of ending life on earth should be countered with all-out peace efforts.

Everything comes down to a simple equation. Do we want to live in peace or perish in a mushroom-shaped cloud? There’s no in-between.

The risk of annihilation perhaps was never greater – given Washington’s rage for global dominance and its reckless permanent war agenda. No nation ever threatened humanity’s survival more, none more profoundly pure evil.

Its madness is supported by all duopoly presidential aspirants, some openly advocating use of nuclear weapons, unchallenged by media scoundrels, in lockstep with what demands condemnation.

Truman was the only world leader ever authorizing the use of nuclear weapons in combat. He later sacked Douglas MacArthur for wanting them used during Washington’s aggression on North Korea, along with urging a land war on China.

In 1961, US General Curtis Lemay believed nuclear war with Soviet Russia was inevitable. He wanted thousands of warheads launched preemptively.

He called retaliation against major US cities a small price to pay. At the same time, General Lyman Lemnitzer urged a surprise nuclear attack strategy.

Jack Kennedy stormed out of a National Security Council meeting discussing it. He wanted none of it. “And we call ourselves the human race,” he said.

Eisenhower warned against the military-industrial complex’s “acquisition of unwarranted influence. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist,” he stressed.

Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeleine Albright once asked former Joint Chiefs chairman Colin Powell “(w)hat’s the point of having this superb military you’re always talking about if we (don’t) use it?”

Mass annihilation may follow this type thinking, virulent today in Washington with bipartisan lunatics in charge.

Obama intends accelerating war in Syria and Iraq on the phony pretext of battling ISIS. He’s recklessly challenging Russia’s effective intervention, Putin committed to combatting a scourge too dangerous to tolerate.

A US-instigated belligerent clash of civilizations may follow – Washington the ally of terrorism, using its elements to advance its imperium.

Russia is its sworn enemy, most concerned about defending its homeland, battling ISIS and other terrorists in Syria, perhaps Iraq to follow if Baghdad requests help, wanting its scourge prevented from spreading – an objective all world nations should support, not Washington, its NATO partners, Israel, and other rogue regional allies.

Things are escalating toward US policymakers initiating military confrontation with Russia. The unthinkable possibility of nuclear war may become reality – the vast majority of Americans mindless about the clear and present danger they face.
