The Revolution of Organics!

The Revolution of Organics! | organic | Organics The Organic Movement and Food Revolution is truly not as new as most people tend to believe. Organic food was initially seen as a fad thought to be by the eccentric few. Today is it has proven to be widespread because it represents a safe house in a very distributing world where food quality and safety are constantly under siege.

Organic food as become an integral part of many large food chain companies and markets. The recent interest in the organic industry has sparked interest in many businesses and among these are large companies that distribute many products in large amounts to the American public.

The organic market has become a 14 billion dollar a year industry, which continues to grow each year. Large corporations such as Wal-Mart now offer organic choices to their customers. There are also other companies leading the organic revolution such as; General Mills and Kraft that are switching over to organic options for their customers. Smaller already established organic companies such as Earth’s Best, Rice Dream soy milk, Garden of Eatin’, Celestial Seasonings, and Health Valley are being bought up by major companies which are now offering more organic choices.  This allows the smaller organic companies exposure to the popular culture allowing them to compete and sell in much larger quantities.

The “Organic Revolution” is continuing growing and giving all of us better and healthier choices for our families. This change has proven that most of us are aware of the desperate need to make our world a greener, eco-friendly, toxic-free, and safer place for us and all future generations!
