(The Real Agenda) Russia will use all options to enforce security after the attack on the Su-24 fighter Jet, says Vladimir Putin.

Putin said it today during his statement on the downing of an Su-24 fighter Jet over Syria:

The attack on a plane that was flying one kilometer away from the Turkish-Syrian border was “a stab on the back”.

The Russian leader was clear about what is to come. “There will be serious consequences for the attack”.

The Russian reaction began on Tuesday. It started by Putin calling Turkey an accomplice of the Islamic State. It was followed by Sergey Lavrov, cancelling his official trip to Turkey. He later warned Russian people not to visit Turkey for the time being.

“This incident stands out against the usual fight against terrorism. Our troops are fighting heroically against terrorists, risking their lives. But the loss we suffered today came from a stab in the back delivered by accomplices of the terrorists,” Putin said.

Putin’s accusation did not stop there. He went further to directly accuse Turkey of financing ISIS by purchasing oil from the terror organization.

IS has big money, hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars, from selling oil. In addition, they are protected by the military of an entire nation. One can understand why they are acting so boldly and blatantly. Why they kill people in such atrocious ways. Why they commit terrorist acts across the world, including in the heart of Europe,” he said.

Today, Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, accused Turkey of having financial interests in purchasing oil from ISIS. According to the Prime Minister, “Turkey’s actions are de facto protection of Islamic State”.

Putin had already warned that at least 40 western countries were behind the purchase of oil from ISIS. Many of them, Putin said, were people from G20 countries.

No western G20 member has done anything to block any kind of transaction which would prevent ISIS from profiting from sales of oil.

In addition to rhetoric, Russia has sent a new cruiser ship under orders to destroy any potential threat to the Russian mission in Syria. That is, Russia will act preemptively before it is caught off guard again.

The Russians have also deployed an S-400 defense missile system to Khmeimim airbase in Syria and with it, they have put their money where their mouth is. Russia is not taking any chances anymore. “S-400 will be deployed on Khmeimim airbase in Syria,” Russian Defence Minister, Sergey Shoigu, said at an official meeting.

After Turkey’s unwarranted attack, Russia will react immediately should Turkey or any other foreign force invade Syrian territory without the previous consent of the Syrian government.

It has been revealed that Russia may make use of a new technology that would block communications from any enemy, which would effectively leave that enemy ‘blind’. “We warn that every target posing a potential threat will be destroyed,” said Russian Lieutenant general Sergey Rudskoy.

Rudskoy added that from this moment on, “all military contacts with Turkey will be suspended.”

“Nobody should doubt that we made our best efforts to avoid this latest incident. But everyone should respect the right of Turkey to defend its borders,” Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara. Contrasting with Erdogan’s words, a Russian Defence Ministry video of the trajectory of the Su-24 fighter jet shows that it never entered Turkish aerial space. In fact, as The Real Agenda News informed yesterday, the Turkish F-16 actually violated Syrian aerial space by chasing the Russian jet prior to shooting it down.

“We’ll warn any country that violates our borders in a friendly way. Russia is our friend and neighbor. There is no tension between Turkey and Russia in this sense. The issue of Syria is not a Turkish-Russian crisis,” had said Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu.

Under Erdogan’s current premise and if Russia were to apply the same rules, the Russians should have already shut down all Turkish, American, Saudi and Israeli planes that invaded Syrian aerial since the Russians are the only legal invitees of the legitimate government of Syria.

Luckily for the Middle East and the rest of the world, Vladimir Putin is not a neocon.

Today, former US Air Force general, Thomas McInerney, said that Turkey’s attack on the Russian Jet was pre-planned. “I think the intentional provocation may have been by Turkey’s President Erdogan. Turkey has been a very secular nation, but he has driven it towards an Islamic society with Sharia law. And so I think he may have a hidden agenda. He probably would not mind seeing Russia and NATO get into another conflict like we had in the Ukraine, which we do not need,” stated McInerney.

Several questions remain to be answered and those answers will come in time.

  1. Given the fact that the Russian plane was flying over Syrian territory, didTurkish planes violate Syrian air space when chasing down  the Russian plane?
  2. Does Ankara want NATO to support ISIS?
  3. Did the Turkish attack on Russia serve as a provocation to start a major war?
  4. Why didn’t any NATO member or G20 member condemn the Turkish attack?
  5. Was  provocateuring on behalf of NATO?
  6. Will Russia respond harshly to Turkey’s uncalled downing of its fighter jet?
